Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of Diesel Engine driven generating set 125 KVA, 100 KW, 415 Volts, 3 phase 4 wire, engine complete with integral acoustic enclosures as per latest Indian Standards of central pollution control board and as alternator with relay, Control panel, sound proof canopy and PCC foundation of required size for DG set as per manufacturer's instructions complete including the following: - (A) ENGINE: - (i) 4 Cylinder, In-line 4 stroke. (ii) Turbocharged and intercooled cooling system (iii) Stainless steel exhaust flexible coupling and exhaust pipe (iv) Radiator water cooled (v) Coolant inhibitor (vi) Plate type lubricant oil cooler (vii) Spin-on filleters coolant, fuel & lubricant oil. (viii) Dry type heavy duty replaceable paper element air cleaner with restriction indicator. (ix) Electronic governor (x) Electric starting system (xi) Battery charging alternator. (xii) 12 volts 120 AH/suitable as company design maintenance free battery with multi standard copper cable for connecting wire and terminal complete. (xiii) First fill lub oil.

item 1.00 contd/-.... (B) ALTERNATOR: - (i) Brushless AC alternator, 3 Phase, 415 Volt, 4 Wire, confirming to IS 13364 (I&II) rated for output of 125 KVA, minimum power factory 0.8, 1500 RPM. (ii) Voltage regulation plus/minus/±1 percent. (iii) IP- 23 protection with Class 'H' insulation (iv) Flex disc type coupling (v) Automatic voltage regulator. (vi) Noise level 75 dBA @ /meter (vii) Telephone interference factor .50 (viii) Total harmonic factor better than 2% (ix) Supplying power to variable electrical load for unlimited hours. Prime power (PRP) is in accordance with ISO 8523. 10% overload capacity for 1 hours every 12 hours of operation and will be suitable tropical conditions. (C) FUEL TANK: - (i) Fuel tank suitable capacity for 12 Hrs on full load with provision for supply and return lines, level indicator, drain valve, cleaning cover, vent pipe & locking devices shall be provided. (ii) Fuel pipe line from fuel tank to FIP of suitable size. (iii) The fuel tank has to be mounted / located inside the cubicle. (D) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: - (i) Designed to meet stringent MOEF/CPCB-IV+ norms 75 dBA @ 1 meter. (ii) Air inlet louvers to be designed to operate at rated load even at 50-degree centigrade air inlet temp. Four points lifting for easy handling. (iii) Cubical to be powder coated for long lasting service life and super finish with UV resistant powder coating, it has to with stand extreme environment. Has to be use stain steel hardware. (iv) Insulation material conforming to IS 8183 specs for better sound. (v) Genset control unit with integrated E-governor helps in reading all genset inputs and controls the genset GCU help in monitoring of following parameters, Controls the engine speed,3 ph genset, low fuel level, support manual control (MCP) functions for 3 phase genset, Measures Genset, Measures Genset Voltages and currents, Measures electrical parameters like frequency, Power factor, Genera to, KVA, KW, KVAr, Monitor critical engine safety parameters, Starts/Stops the genset, Have counters for genset start/stop, run hours, KWH, power factor.

(E) INBUILT AMF CONTROL PANEL FOR DG SET: - The AMF panel will be integrated with the DG set homogeneously and completely synchronized and communication compatible, front opening type protection, duly powder coated, with electrolytic grade copper bus bar of appropriate capacity for four poles with all standard switch gear, graphical LCD display & protection, internal wiring of adequate size PVC insulated multi-threaded copper conductor cable etc (Control panel must shows these parameters Current, Voltage, KW, KVA, PF, RPM, Hz, KWH hooter etc. inbuilt provided with microprocessor-based protection unit for Engine alternator.) (F) MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONAL MANUAL OF PLANTS - 01 SET SHALL BE SUBMITTED BY CONTRACTOR ALONGWITH THE FOLLOWING: - (I) Test certificate of Alternator. (ii) Test certificate of Diesel Engine. (iii) Test certificate of Gen Set (by OEM). (iv) Test certificate of Acoustic enclosures. (v) Rubber insulation mat. Notes: - (a) Provision of PCC platform as per manufacturer guidelines/specifications and shall be of required size. The cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. Nothing shall be admissible on this account. (b) Testing of the DG set shall be carried out by the IEM. (c) The contractor shall submit specification and drawing for approval of the GE before procurement of the DG set. (d) Resistive load whether water load or strip heaters of suitable capacity and POL/DHPP for testing of DG set to be made available during test by the contractor. The cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. (e) The DG set shall be procured from authorized OEM and of same group. The acoustic panel shall also be manufactured by the same OEM. (f) Any other details not mentioned above but is required for efficient functioning of DG set is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rate

M&L for earthing complete with using galvanized mild steel earth plate (electrode) 600 mmx 600 mmx 6.30 mm thick buried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.50 m below ground level and earth plate surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all round the plate using 32X6 mm GI earth strip as earth lead moulded and riveted to earth plate at one end and connected to main equipment at switch/control board at another end, GI earth lead incased in and including 50 mm dia GI ‘light grade’ pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipment with & including 20 mm dia bore GI pipe ‘light grade’ as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of the earth plate, GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and provision of PCC 1:2:4 type B1(using 20 mm graded stone agg) as in pits chamber and RCC pit cover 50 mm thick of precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone agg)duly reinforced with mild steel round bars 6 mm dia @ 150 mm c/c both ways with 10 mm dia mild steel bars as in lifting handles with and including necessary excavation & earth work including laying the GI pipe concealed in floor /wall all as per plate No. 3 of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion. NOTE :- GI earth wire and protection pipe beyond 7.5 mtr will be measured and paid separately. (Note : 1. If the desired earth resistance is not found earthing shall be re-done by the Contractor at no extra cost paid by Dept.)

Taking down existing old unserviceable DG of any type and size after disconnecting all incoming and outgoing electrical connections without any damage and safely depositing at AGE E/M store yard/ safe loc at SI lines complete all as specified and as directed.
