Cleaning the over head water tanks of various capacities at different elevations over the roof of building / laboratories all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Water supply line Burst / Breakage: Attending the following works, earthwork excavation to ascertain the type of leak including extra length and width of excavation required as per site condition to facilitate removal of damaged / broken pipes, specials and its rectification, dewatering, removing the slush from the trenches, conveying of the earth and slush away from the trenches to prevent over burden for the trench, conveyance of pipes, specials and other accessories, de-water pumps, suction and delivery lines to the work site from the section stores and installation of de-water pumps and suction delivery lines etc., cutting the burst / broken pipes and removing the pipes from the mains and re-installing the new pipes, jointing and testing the pipeline and re-filling the excavated trenches in to the original condition etc. complete. Note: Necessary material viz : pipes, specials and jointing materials will be measured under relevant item.

Removing the choke and cleaning the sewer lines of 100mm to 300mm Dia stone ware / CI pipes including opening the CI manholes cover of the chamber, inserting sewer cleaning rod through one chamber, and removing at the other chamber, collecting and disposing the chocked materials like root, grit, sand etc., including cleaning the chamber, gully and pipes, general cleaning of the shaft area of the building s etc., complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Operating the VNC pumps, Sewage submersible pumps, Monoblock pumps, Sludge pumps, De watering pumps, Rotors and valves etc., in the Sewage Treatment plant and Lift station including cleaning and removing the floating objects from screen cum suction well, inlet chamber, influent chamber, oxidation ditch, settling tank, chlorination chamber and oxidation pond etc., including cleaning of the bar screens , removing of dried sludge from sludge drying beds, operation of slurry pumps and valves for recycling sludge, and balling out sewage water from the letting out effluent etc..,complete in the sewage treatment plant / sewage lift station of IGCAR and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Contractor has to engage a minimum 2nos. of operators in each shift every day throughout the year including holidays (Timing of shifts - General shift 9:00 hours to 17:30 hours ; 1st shift 6:00 hours to 14:00 hours ; 2nd shift 14:00 hours to 22:00 hours; 3rd shift 22:00 hours to 6:00 hours). If any short fall found during the contract period, he will be penalised at the rate of 1.00 job / operator / day shall be deducted from the RA bills.

Lifting & Transporting the Liquefied sludge from Sewer chambers /Collection Well in FBTR through a container lorry/Tanker loading the sludge and unloading by using tanker lorry of capacity 4000 litres and disposing through mechanical means to STP Collection Chamber, including all tools & Equipment’s as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: The rate shall include the cost of hire charges for tanker/Lorry and crew and required tools and equipment etc. complete

Supplying and disposing the good quality of bleaching powder in the drinking water / let out treated sewage effluents for the purpose of disinfections at Sump / Sewage treatment plant or places as directed, including cost of bleaching powder, transport and required man power for dosing etc., complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Prior approval shall be obtained from the Engineer-in-Charge by producing samples regarding quality and brand before procurement.

Supplying and fixing of following size of uPVC pipe of SCH 40 of make ASTRAL/PRINCE/Finolex or approved equivalent make conforming to relevant ASTM D 1785 standards including all UPVC Plain & Brass threaded fittings confirmed to ASTM D 2466/ ASTM D 2467, fixing the pipe with clamps at 1.00 m spacing including cutting, threading and jointing with uPVC cement solvent, Teflon tape making necessary opening/chasing of the wall, flooring and making the work place to the original condition etc., and testing the line as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing double Tubular scaffolding system using H-Frames / APS system or (cup lock type) on the exterior side made with 40mm dia M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in-Charge. Note : 1. The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. 2. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. 3. The scaffolding system drawing shall be got approved by Engineer-in-Charge. 4. The contractor has to observe all safety procedure while working on heights as per I.S. 3696 (Part-I) (Safety Code for scaffolds). 5. Screen of suitable material shall be provided to the full height of scaffolding and securely tied to protect falling objects coming out during the work is in progress. 6. Necessary aluminium / M.S. ladder shall be provided at the cost of the contractor, to the full height of scaffolding at required location around the building to enable Departmental Supervisor/Engineer climb up and closely watch the repair work of the building.

Providing and fixing the new 25mm dia PTMT / PVC ball cock with epoxy coated rod of 450mm length and HDPE ball PRAYAG or other approved equivalent make bearing ISI mark with all accessories in overhead water tanks and other required location without interfering regular water supply including removing existing the damaged ball cock and returning to Departmental stores, fixing new ball cock with GI specials if required etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing PVC nahani trap, 110mm inlet and 75mm outlet of ‘Finolex / Prince or other approved equivalent make’ conforming to the relevant IS code heavy quality of self-cleaning design with CP/SS grating of 125mm dia with perforated holes including embedding in cement concrete 1:2:4 forming circular holes by providing and fixing 110mm OD PVC pipes of required height up to floor level, levelling and rendering smooth, making good the floor and wall etc., complete as per specifications. (Rate shall include cost of PVC pipe, cement concrete and it shall not be paid extra.)

Dismantling tile work (thickness of tile upto 25mm) in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar at all levels including stacking material within 50 metres lead complete all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic floor/wall tiles conforming to IS 15622 of approved make in approved size, shade and colour (as approved by Engineer-in-charge), free from cracks, fissures & flakes with straight edges & perfect corners fixed at right angles as per design and pattern required over a bed of 20mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand (in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 using crushed stone sand), including machine / hand cutting to required size and shape, pointed neatly with white cement mixed with coloring pigment to match colour of tile, properly finished in all respects, curing, cleaning the surface neatly at the time of handing over the area, all materials and labour complete.
