REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF SOLAR WATER HEATERS AND WINTER APPLIANCES AT AMRITSAR CANTT UNDER GE ASR

Material and labour for maintenance of solar water heaters capacity 100/200/300/500 litre FPC / ETC type any make comprising of the following activities:- (a) Inspection, opening, dismantling, descaling with suitable acid, brushing and cleaning of all the scales formed on parts including storage tank and examining of water tightness of storage tank after cleaning and descaling and refixing in position. (Inspection shall be done by Engineer-in-Charge & report shall be kept on record) (b) Check and connect earth continuity of electric items. (c) Checking and adjustment of pressure release valves. (d) Cleaning and maintenance and refix thermostat and thermal cut out heating element and its functioning. (e) Cleaning of tubes / flat plate collectors and other elements complete all as specified. (f) Visual examination of entire solar water heater and testing of solar water heater after repair/ maintenance. (g) The items requires replacement will be paid under relevent item of works in the schedule as supply only.

Supply only Tube for ETC type solar water heater of suitable dia length and thickness all as per sample complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only gasket set for ETC innner and outer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only heating element 3 KW ISI marked all as per sample complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only thermostat ISI marked complete suitable for 240 V AC 50 Hz supply all as per sample complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Tube holder suitable for ETC type solar water heater all as per sample complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only manifold for 50 tubes for ETC complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing rotational moulded polythelene water storage tanks (triple layer) ISI marked capacity 300 litres (cylindrical vertical with closed top), with and including 20mm dia float valve with PVC fittings hoisted, fixed in position and making connection including dismantling of existing unserviceable tank ccomplete all as specified and directed. Make : Sintex or equivalent conforming to above specification as approved by GE.

Dismantling the complete assembly of solar hot water tank and supply and fixing 300 ltrs pre insulated hot water storage tank with stand (inner tank SS 304) including all inlet outlet connection testing solar hot water tank complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling the complete assembly of solar hot water tank and supply and fixing 500 ltrs pre insulated hot water storage tank with stand (inner tank SS 304) including all inlet outlet connection testing solar hot water tank complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of copper wire, 3 core, flexible type of size 4.0 Sq mm complete in PVC FR conduit medium grade fixed on wall complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Havells/L&T/Finolex / Polycab

Material and Labour for painting the MS supporting structure of solar water heating system complete as per original shade with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer by spray gun after scrapping the existing paint, denting, filling depression with putty etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of brass chromium plated angle valve, fancy type of size 15mm dia screwed down for high pressure, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of sheet metal enclosure (industrial type DB) complete in 2P+E configuration with plug and socket complete with one MCB SP C Curve type of capacity 25 Amp 10 KA complete all as specified and directed. Make: Havells, Legrand/Indo asian/siemens

Supply and fixing in replacement Brass chromium plated fancy type bib tabs of size 15 mm dia bore short body, screwed down for GI pipe or for brass ferrule and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement MCB B Curve type suitable for 240 volts AC supply, SP with over load and short circuit protection and rupturing capacity not less than 10 KA as specified and 16 to 32 Amps complete all as specified and directed. Make : Havells/ Indo asian/ L & T.

Supply and fixing in replacement of aluminium foil for solar collector complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge .

Supply and fixing in replacement of MS dead flange complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of brass flange complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Toughened/ tempered glass for solar collector having 4 mm thickness transmissivity more than 85 %.as per existing size complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying of CPVC pipes SDR 11 & Plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings on walls/ceiling or laying in floors complete all as specified of size 20 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Suppply and fixing CPVC Pipe size 16 mm dia suitable for hot water with all fitting All as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Suppply and fixing CPVC Pipe size 25 MM dia suitable for hot water with all fitting all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Supply and fixing ball valve gun metal with iron Patti type, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed size 20 mm dia all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Supply and fixing ball valve gun metal with iron Patti type, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed size 15 mm dia all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Supply and fixing ball valve gun metal with iron Patti type, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed size 25 mm dia all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge

M & L for insulation to extg hot water GI pipe 15/20 mm dia with nitrile rubber complete all as specified and directed.
