Supplying, laying, jointing and testing 1100 volts grade LT underground XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed (heavy duty) electric strip/ wire armoured electric cable of size 240 Sqmm 3.5 core with stranded aluminium conductor, laid in trenches, in floor, in duct, through pipes or along the pole including taking up existing defective cable complete all as specified and directed. Note : Testing of cables as specified shall be done in presence of JE-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing 1100 volts grade heavy duty PVC insulated & PVC sheathed stranded aluminium conductor of size 10 sqmm twin core flat cable in service including taking down/ out unserviceable conductor connection all as directed.

Supply and fixing 1100 volts grade heavy duty PVC insulated & PVC sheathed stranded aluminium conductor of size 16 sqmm twin core flat cable in service including taking down/ out unserviceable conductor connection all as directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 mtr in depth for laying of cables and getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of sand 8cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm thick after laying of cable in trenches, punned down to thickness of 18cm complete all as specified. Note : Punned down thickness of 18cm will be measured for payment to contractor.

Supply & laying old size sub class 'B' bricks laid flat in trenches over the cable with the length of brick perpendicular to the direction of cable length, adjacent/abutting each other complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for scraping old paint from LT panels/ feeder pillars or any electrical iron/ steel structure upto 11 mtr height off sizes with emery paper, preparing old surface for painting, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint with spraying by air compressor/mechanical means as per existing shade (the computerized colour making/mixing may require within quoted rate) from top of PCC coping and marking number/ name of panel in alphabets not less than 150mm in size complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for applying two coats of aluminium oxide paint in steel grey/ silver from top of PCC coping/ brick work to chain link fencing/ XPM jaali inside and outside around transformers/LT panels/ feeder pillars/ 2/4 pole structures off size and angle iron/ cross arms of fencing all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The overall area of fencing shall be measured for payment. However, contractor have to paint iron structure/ posts alongwith fencing within overall quoted rate.

Supply and fixing in replacement multi-function panel meter 96x96mm with LCD display, accuracy class 1.0, having parameters Voltage, Current, Frequency, Power factor, matching to existing CT installed in panel complete all as specified

Material and labour for Locating & pinpointing conductor and insulation faults of low and high resistance, intermittent or flashing nature in XLPE LT underground power cables of the rating 1.1 KV with the help of Pre-locator with time domain laptop based reflectometer/ electrometer using pulse echo method, impulse current method & decay method, and using DC high voltage surge generator to produce surge to trace route and pinpointing fault with the help of dual channel digital sound system, magnetic & acoustic for location of fault with acoustic transducer (pickup) and the amplifier with headphones, after pinpointing of fault location necessary excavation upto 10m length and taking out of faulty cable for repair/ replacement of joint, relaying of cable/ cover & brick protection, refilling of soil and removal of surplus soil etc at Jalandhar Cantt all as specified and directed. Notes : (a) The joint shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. (b) The qty of item will be executed at different times during currency of contract as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Hence, contractor shall quote his rate accordingly for arranging and executing the items accordingly. (c) Fault should be detected and rectified within 12 hrs from intimation to contractor. the penalty should be levied to contractor at the rate of Rs. 500/- per hours, if contractor fails to restore supply or contractor has to make temporary alternate arrangement for restoration of electric supply at his own cost.

Taking down LT cable of any size from POLE or any location as specified and clean the connected cable from cleaning tissue and gel and put heat shrinkable end joint kit suitable for XLPE cable of size 50 Sqmm to 95 Sqmm, 3.5 core including opening cable connections, taking down LT cable from POLE or any location and reconnected the same to electrical system and restore the power supply complete all as specified and directed

Taking down LT cable of any size from ACB/LT PANEL or any location as specified and clean the connected cable from cleaning tissue and gel and put a PVC sleeve of suitable colour R, Y, B & Black as per colour coding on 4 wire cable and reconnected the same to electrical system with new aluminium lugs of proper size and restore the power supply complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (a) Each sleeve length should not be less than 0.5mtr and rate quoted inclusive of new lugs and heating arrangement (b) Quoted rate include necessary excavation work for taking out cable loop if reqd at site

Taking down LT cable of any size from LT PANEL or any location as specified and clean the connected cable from cleaning tissue and gel and put a PVC sleeve of suitable colour R, Y, B & Black as per colour coding on 2 wire cable and reconnected the same to electrical system with new aluminium lugs of proper size and restore the power supply complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (a) Each sleeve length should not be less than 0.5mtr and rate quoted inclusive of new lugs and heating arrangement (b) Quoted rate include necessary excavation work for taking out cable loop if reqd at site

Material and labour for re-shifting of existing LT panel within 1 mtr distance after taken out panel/cables without damage with PCC of 1:2:4 in such a way that each leg of iron angle must be 30cm in ground and 60cm above ground complete all as specified and directed. Note : PCC should be 30cm in ground and 30cm above ground

Supply and fixing new angle iron of any size including i.e. cutting, welding, bending, cold or hot, drilling holes, grinding or bolt in any shape or size including 2 coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide including taking out unserviceable complete and fix to damaged angle iron legs of LT panel to fix with existing LT panel frame to increase the height or as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Supplying, erecting and fixing in replacement pressed concrete poles 09 meter long 102 x 172 at top and 102 x 279 mm at bottom class 10 complete as specified including painting of poles upto 1.5 mtr height from coping with two coats of synthetic enamel paint black & white strips and numbering of poles as directed complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for preparation of old painted surface of PCC LT poles and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint in alternate black & white strips of 30 cm width up to 1.5 mtr height from top of PCC coping complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge

Material and labour for preparation of old painted surface of steel tubular poles 9.00 meter long with one coat of synthetic enamel paint up to 1.50 meter height from ground level in 30cm width alternative black and white strips and remaining portion with one coat of aluminium oxide paint complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Re-stretching of existing loose OH, LT ACSR conductor wire any type/ any supply including GI wire along the span of pole 4 to 6 lines for sagging within the permissible limit, including disconnecting cable connections, opening of binding wire, winding/ rewinding/joining with aluminium winding wire in case of breakage of conductor and restringing at same place as same phase or changing the location to use as neutral or other phase complete all as specified and directed and again fixing to insulators with binding wire and making outgoing electric cable connections. The Size of binding wire of same size as made up of conductor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) Nothing extra is admissible on account of jointing material and labour in case the conductor breaks during stretching. (ii) Cutting trimming of hanging/extended branches of trees upto a distance 1.5 mtr from the overhead HT/LT line and making the line clear upto the entire length of the re-stretched ACSR feeder including removal and disposing of the cut tree/branches 50 mtr away for the site as directed is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Piece of conductor of suitable size required for connecting the broken conductor included in the rates quoted by the contractor. (iv) Each run/ length of ACSR conductor except earth wire along the span shall be measured as unit separately

Taking down ACSR of any type and any size by opening binding wires, removing outgoing electric connections by opening cable connections, removing spacers as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The decision of Engineer-in-Charge will be final and binding regarding the no of spans/ length and no. of phase or neutral conductors to be removed/ taken down from site

Supply and fixing aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of size ferret/ Mink or other size reqd at site in reqd length/ span for overhead lines on poles stretching/ stringing without kinks and bends, including aluminium binding wire binding with (rates inclusive), jumpers , line tapes and making necessary outgoing cable connections etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : The ACSR shall have to be fixed at different locations in different lengths. At some locations, single ACSR have to be changed. The contractor has to quote his rate accordingly. Nothing extra will be paid on account of this and No claim will be entertained. For payment purpose weight of ACSR conductor shall be considered.

Material and labour for fixing of MS CRCA sheet powder coated of 3.15mm thickness , cut to shape and size required as per LT panel located at site including welding of hinge joint to sheet for fixing complete all as per directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for fixing of copper bus bar of size 40x6 mm or any other suitable size cut to required shape and size as per existing panel at site and cover bus bar with colour sleeve as per site requirement and fixed to bus bar support with DMC/SMC insulator complete all as specified and directed. Note: Insulator item will be measured in other item of Schedule

Material and labour for fixing of DMC/SMC insulator to existing panel including nut and screw all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of channel fixed in position at 9 mtr, 1mtr long on LT pole and painting with one coat of aluminium paint on channel, bracing, clamps, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of channel of size 75x40mm , 0.5 mtr long on LT pole and painting with one coat of aluminium paint on channel, bracket (1.2 m long GI pipe of dia 40mm), bracing, clamps, cross arms complete all as specified and directed.
