| 2 | Dismantling of existing chain link fencing and RCC base/wall at the entrance of the borewell site including cutting, dismantling and removal of the fencing, RCC/concrete portion and associated supports, posts, clamps, fasteners and other obstructions as required for providing adequate access for entry and movement of the borewell drilling/machinery, without causing damage to adjacent existing structures/installations.
The dismantled materials which are suitable for reuse shall be carefully stacked at site, and the debris/unserviceable material shall be removed and disposed of at a suitable location outside green area.
After completion of the borewell/drilling and allied works, the chain link fencing and RCC base shall be reconstructed/reinstated to the original condition, including providing and fixing of chain link mesh, clamps, binding/fixing accessories, RCC/concrete work, reinforcement wherever required, shuttering, curing and finishing, complete to match the existing fencing and RCC base.
The item shall include all necessary cutting, breaking, excavation, refilling, disposal of debris, fabrication, welding, drilling, fixing, concreting, curing, painting/anti-corrosion treatment wherever required .

| 3 | Boring/Drilling of Borewell by DTH–ODEX Method:
Boring/drilling of borewell of drilling diameter suitable for installation of 125 mm casing. by DTH rig using ODEX (Overburden Drilling with Eccentric) method through different strata up to a maximum depth of 100 m or till sufficient aquifer zone/ minimum discharge of 2500 gph is encountered, whichever occurs earlier, subject to site conditions, including simultaneous advancement of required casing during drilling; providing and fixing of MS casing pipes and casing drive shoe wherever required for stabilizing the bore during drilling; collection of representative samples from different strata; recording of strata encountered; preparation and submission of strata chart/bore log indicating depth-wise details of formations, water-bearing strata/water strikes and other relevant observations; including running charges of DTH/ODEX drilling rig, compressor, tools, tackles, equipment, machinery and all allied accessories, along with labour, fuel, consumables and other incidental charges required for satisfactory completion of the drilling work, complete in all respects as per IS: 2800 (Part 1) and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Note: The cost of 125 mm dia ERW MS casing pipe and casing drive shoe shall be measured and paid separately under the respective BOQ items.

| 4 | Supplying, Assembling, Lowering and Fixing of ERW MS Casing Pipe.
Supplying, assembling, lowering and fixing in a vertical position in the drilled borewell, 125 mm nominal diameter ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) mild steel casing pipes, conforming to IS: 4270, manufactured from FE 410 grade steel, of reputed and approved make, with a minimum wall thickness of 5.4 mm; applying two coats of approved anti rust primer and anticorrosive paint to the surfaces of the casing pipes; there should be no circumferential weld. The pipe from inside should be bead-free and have a smooth finish. Each pipe shall be subjected to a hydraulic pressure test at the manufacturer's works in accordance with IS: 4270/2001 with the latest amendments. All the physical and chemical properties of the pipe, including tensile strength, should be in accordance with IS: 4270/2001 with the latest amendments. The cost of the 125 mm diameter MS pipe includes transportation charges up to the site, third-party inspection, and inspection at the manufacturer's end. The third party of pipes must only be done through CEIL or RITES.

| 7 | Development of the tube well in accordance with IS: 2800 (Part 1) and IS: 11189 to establish the maximum rate of usable water yield without sand content (beyond the permissible limit), with a required-capacity air compressor, running the compressor for the required time till the well is fully developed, measuring the yield of the well by the “V” notch method or any other approved method, measuring static level and drawdown, etc., by the step-drawdown method, collecting water samples and getting them tested in an approved laboratory, including disinfection of the tube well, all complete, including the required hire and labour charges for the air compressor, tools and accessories, etc., as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Development shall continue until the discharged water is substantially free from sand/turbidity and the well produces stable yield, subject to a maximum of 100 compressor hours unless otherwise approved.

| 8 | Providing of two Nos. submersible pump sets (one No. working and one No. standby), suitable for borewell application, having a discharge 2500 GPH at a total head corresponding to the actual drilling depth and safe operating position of the pump, complete with a suitably rated submersible motor, suitable for operation on 415 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz AC supply, with a water-cooled motor, gun-metal non-return valve, and pump set suitable for installation in a 5-inch (125 mm) nominal diameter borewell/casing.
The submersible pump sets shall conform to IS 8034:2018 (latest applicable amendments), and the submersible motors shall conform to IS 9283:2023 (latest applicable amendments), or the latest applicable standards. The pump set shall be selected to deliver the specified discharge at the required head with satisfactory efficiency and shall be complete with pump, motor, coupling, non-return valve, discharge casing, cable and other standard accessories. The pump impeller shall be of stainless steel and suitable for pumping clear water.
The job shall include the fabrication and fixing of pump adapters/nipples/flanges of suitable diameter, including all necessary fittings and accessories required for connection of the submersible pump set with the column pipe/discharge arrangement.
The job shall also include lowering and installation of one number complete submersible pump-motor set along with column pipes, submersible cable, cable guards/tie wire and all necessary clamps, supports and accessories, using a suitable tripod, chain pulley, steel wire slings, clamps, tools and tackles, etc. The second complete pump set shall be supplied as standby.
The complete job shall include the cost of all materials, pump sets, motors, accessories, transportation, loading/unloading, installation, lowering, plumbing works, fabrication, tools and tackles, testing and commissioning, manufacturer's test certificates, and all other items required for satisfactory completion of the work.The rates must be excluding submersible cable and column pipe, which shall be measured and paid separately.
The pump sets shall be tested for performance at the specified duty point and shall be supplied with the manufacturer's test/performance certificate. The pump sets shall also be tested and certified by an NABL-accredited third-party agency. | 1 | complete job | 100 | ₹100 |
