Special Repairs to Spillway shutters of Uppar dam by carefully overhauling 3 No’s of Spillway shutters each of size 9.14m x 5.49m (30' x 18'), by raising the shutters to workable level, buffing, grinding and removing existing paint, oil, Grease, Lubricant and other loose grit particles in corroded portions, cleaning and identifying spots of worn out weak portions, Gas cutting/ Grinding worn out portions and then rectifying with patch steel work with Mild steel plate of 12mm thickness fabricated in position by welding and smoothening weld joint faces by grinding along with rectifying corroded embedded portions of wheel track assembly with servicing by lubrication of Rollers and rectifying embedded guide track for counter weight in Masonry Wall all as per Standard specifications. Rate including cost of Materials, Labour charges in overhanging condition, Lathing, Drilling, Welding, Gas cutting, power charges, Conveyance, Loading and unloading, Oiling, Scaffolding, Hire charges of Machineries, Tools and plants and Safety provisions etc, complete as directed by the Departmental Engineers.

Special repairing of Hoisting assembly for 3 nos of Spillway shutters of Uppar dam by servicing carefully after overhauling the electrical motor operated hoisting worm gear assemblies after gas cutting and removal of Checkered plate in Operating platform to inspection access and locking in position of counter weights, identifying and rectification of misalignment in worm gear shafts and attending the bends in main operating shafts, Open drive gears if any, along with servicing and lubricating worm gear box, Blummer blocks by cleaning inner bearings in all Blummer blocks of size - 2” ,3” and 4” and rectifying worn out bearings if any and cleaning and rectifying wornout oil seals and rewelding in position of checkered plates in operating platform after grinding and removing grits from the rusted portions and associated bottom stiffening elements and drilling adequate drain holes in Checkered plates and then complete lubrication of Hoisting assembly as RADICON worm gear box with TERESSO V.120, Open drive gears and Chains with Shell Curdium Compound, Operating Shafts, Blummer blocks and Rollers with Cup Grease No.2 grade all as per standard Lubrication chart and careful alignment of Hoisting assembly in Line, Level and position in Plumb and releasing counterweight., etc complete to ensure smooth operating conditions of Shutters without any vibration or undue drift. Rate including cost of Materials, Labour charges in overhanging condition, Lathing, Drilling, Welding, Gas cutting, Power charges, Conveyance, Loading and Unloading, Grease packing, Lubricating, Oiling, Scaffolding, Hire charges of Machineries, Tools and plants and Safety provisions etc, complete as directed by the Departmental Engineers. After completion of above work a satisfactory test trial run to ensure smooth operation of shutters should be done as per IS Specification.

Repairing and Replacement of old wornout Bottom rubber seals in 3 nos of Spillway Shutters each shutter of size (30' x 18') 9.14m x 5.49m, by raising and locking in position of shutter, removing damaged Bottom rubber seals from skin plate by removing rusted rubber seal cover plate fittings with necessary grinding, buffing, gas cutting and removing old Bolts,Nuts and washers holding seal seat cover plate made of 75mm x 10mm MS flats, cleaning both sides carefully by grinding / buffing, providing and fixing in position of new Flat Rubber seals of 100mm x 12mm size and replacement of 20mm dia 3" long bolts and Nuts with washers spaced each at 100mmc/c, welding at required spots, etc complete including rectifying corroded portions of M.S Seal seat cover plate of 75mm x 10mm with adjacent contact steel elements and grinding holes to receive bolts in seal seat cover plate and cleaned using mechanical grinding and buffing machines, painting seal cover plate surfaces with two coats of epoxy Coal tar paint over two coats of zinc rich primer all as per Standard specifications. Rate including cost of Materials, Labour charges in overhanging condition, Lathing, Drilling holes, Welding, Gas cutting, Power charges, Conveyance, Loading and unloading, Scaffolding, Hire charges of Machineries, Tools and plants and Safety provisions etc, complete as directed by the Departmental Engineers.

Overhauling and Renewal of Canal Sluice Shutter in the Right Flank Canal of Uppar Dam of shutter size 1.40m X 1.34m after gas cut opening the checkered plate in operating platform for access and then disconnecting the existing shutter from suspension system and lifting the shutter to operating platform with Chain-Pulley block and then removing the damaged rubber sealing arrangements, renewal of corroded skin plate by using necessary gas cutting equipments and providing new 40mm bulb dia Musical note rubber seals of size 105mm x 20mm thick on sides and top of the shutter with front seal cover plate of 75mm x 8mm MS flat with drilling holes to receive 75mm long 16mm dia countersunk bolts in backing thread plate of 200mm x 20mm flat and then replacing skin plate of 12mm thickness along with middle stiffening elements framed with ISMB 200 and End vertical wheel frame of ISMC 200 along with removal, machining to shape, lubricating, Grease packing and refixing of existing 4 nos of 225mm dia Roller wheels and wheel shaft and refixing with stiffening MS end bracket plate and cleat angles of ISA 75x 75 x 6mm and fixing new 16mm dia Counter sunk bolts of 75mm long with nuts and washers and then lifting and erecting the shutter to the vent in correct alignment,level and plumb by using hoisting Chain-Pulley block, lubricating to ensure smooth operation of Sluice shutter including renewal of corroded portions of Mild steel access ladder in Sluice well,buffing ,cleaning and rectification of corroded portion of existing MS flat Embedded wheel track in masonry wall and grinding, painting of Emergency shutter, Embedded MS parts in recessed grooves of emergency shutter vent for ensuring smooth operation of Emergency shutter etc., Rate including painting of shutter, grooves frames, operating platform and other steel surfaces with two coats of epoxy Coal tar paint over two coats zinc rich primer as per standard specifications. The rate including cost of materials, labours, hire charges for machineries and tools & equipments required for welding, cutting, grinding, chain pullies, Gas cutting,Painting,Scaffolding,Conveyance and safety precautions. The test trial operation has to be demonstrated to Departmental officers.

Special Repairs to Screw Gear rod type hoist assembly of Right and Left flank Canal sluice shutters of Uppar dam by carefully overhauling 2.6m long,100mm outer diameter threaded Screw gear rod with associated Head base of 0.50m x 0.50m after locking in position of shutters and checking for bends in screw gear rod if any,along with rectification of corroded portions of 2.5m long twin suspension channels of ISMC 100 spaced at 450mm, Cross and guide channels of ISMC 150 and corroded portions of chequered plates of operating platform in Sluice well of 2.0m dia and associated bottom stiffening elements of ISMB 30 and then careful reassembling of operating platform and Screw gear rod in line, level and position in Plumb and refixing of Shutter in suspension channels including painting Screw gear rod head ,Operating platform and other steel element surfaces etc to ensure smooth operation of canal shutter with two coats of epoxy Coal tar paint over two coats zinc rich primer and lubrication of screw gear assembly as per specifications . Rate including cost of Materials, Labour charges in overhanging condition, Lathing, Drilling, Welding, Gas cutting, Power charges, Conveyance, Loading and unloading, Grease packing, Lubricating, Oiling, Scaffolding, Hire charges of Machineries, Tools and plants and Safety provisions etc, complete as directed by the Departmental Engineers. After completion of above work a satisfactory test trial run should be done as per IS Specification.

Supplying and Fabrication of Emergency Shutter for Canal sluice of Uppar dam of shutter size 1.10 m x 1.40 m fabricated with 10mm thick MS skin plate and stiffening structural steel girders with 3 No’s of ISMC 150 members in horizontal and 3 No’s of ISMC 150 members in vertical directions with necessary M.S Cleat angles, bracers, stiffener Flats, Holdfasts and Hook provision, etc with rectification of damaged Column with all civil cost and restoring slipped cross girder in hoisting assembly of emergency shutter to original position and then erection of emergency shutter in position in line and level inside vent provided with adequate capacity chain-pulley block including painting of all steel surfaces with two coats of Anti corrosive Epoxy coal tar paint over two coats of Zinc rich primer as per standard specifications. Rate including cost of Materials, Labour charges in overhanging condition including Lathing, Drilling, Welding, Gas cutting, Electric charges, Conveyance charges to this site, Loading and unloading, Lifting charges, Grease packing, Lubricating, Scaffolding, hire charges of Machineries, Tools and plants and safety provisions etc, complete as directed by the Departmental Engineers.

Repairing and Replacing weathered old four numbers of Wooden doors in Canal sluices of size 0.80m x 1.90m with Mild steel fabricated door frame and shutters ,fixing in canal sluice well wall by removing damaged old wooden doors, making pocket groove, fixing door frame and repacking grooves with cement concrete in position in line and level including provisions of Aldrop and locking arrangements and painting with 2 coats of Enamel paint over a coat of anticorrosive red oxide primer complete with cost of Labour, Material, Welding, Gas cutting, Machining, Tools and plants, Scaffolding, power charges and special repairs to fabricated Mild steel Hand railings near Spillway Shutters, Bridge deck and Canal sluice shutters by buffing and renewal of weathered portions of Hand rails, Balusters and base plates by grinding out rusted base plates from concrete platform and replacing base plates with anchoring bolts, repacking in concrete slab wherever necessary and removal of old paints by scrapping/buffing and then applying two coats of Aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer for Handrails,Balusters and for 31 nos of Lighting posts complete all as per standard specifications. Painting of 3nos of Spillway shutters of size 9.14m x 5.49m(30' x 18') and associated hoisting assembly and steel bridge deck by scrapping/buffing and removal of old paint material and other loose particles, Grease,Oil, lubricants etc and painting with two coats of epoxy Coal tar paint over two coats of zinc rich primer as per standard specifications. Rate including cost of Materials, Labour charges in overhanging condition, Lathing, Drilling, Welding, Gas cutting, power, Conveyance, Loading and unloading, Brushes and consumables, Scaffolding to all height, Cleaning paint spills,Hire charges of Machineries, Tools and plants and all Safety provisions etc, complete as directed by the Departmental Engineers.
