REPAIR / MAINT OF ROAD INCL FURNITURE, ROAD SIGN BOARDS UNDER AGE B/R-I AT ND MUMBAI UNDER GE (NW) KUNJALI, COLABA, MUMBAI

Repair to potholes any depth n.exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. Cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal watering and well ramming complete all as spcified.

M&L for preparing existing bituminous surfaces/ concrete by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as spcified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a prime/ tack coat with bitumen primer using paving bitumen VG-30, 5 Kg per 10 Sqm with the help of pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with min 6 % binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 Tonne capacity power roller complete all as specified. Note :- (i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined following the Marshall Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111: 2009. The adjustment in rate on MINUS side variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹65 per kg. No claim whatsoever shall be made for adjustment in plus side.

Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam consolidated any thickness by using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with binder content @ 4% by weight of total mix, laying with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fixing in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs SOLAR Studs yellow/orange/red colour ABS body plastic IRC 67 having road capacity of 40 ton having reflector yellow colour both sides and size 10cm x 10cm fixed on the road edges complete as per manufactures insstruction and all as specified.

S&F in repairs MS Delineator SVD-3, 1200mm long, 75mm dia M.S. pipe medium grade of existing height, with HIP 75mm around. Three strip and with mesh, with yellow, green, red HI reflective tape including excavating post hole in any type of soil, embeding the pipe in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 of size 45cm x 45cm x 60cm and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer all as specified & as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in repairs polycarbonate Convex mirror of dia 80 cm including vertical MS pipe 75mm dia of existing size, including excavating in post hole in any tupe of soil, embeding the pipe in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 of size 45cm x 45cm x 90cm and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer all as specified & as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
