Providing and fixing structural steel frame (for dry cladding with 30 mm thick gang saw cut with machine cut edges sand stone) on walls at all heights using M.S. square/ rectangular tube in the required pattern as per architectural drawing including cost of cutting, bending, welding etc. The frame work shall be fixed to the wall with the help of MS brackets/lugs of angle iron/ flats etc. which shall be welded to the frame and embedded in brick wall with cement concrete block 1:2:4 (1 cement :2coarse sand :4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) of size300x230x300mm including cost of necessary centring and shuttering and with approved expansion hold fasteners on CC/RCC surface, including drilling necessary holes. Approved cramps/ pins etc. shall be welded to the frame work to support stone cladding, the steel work will be given a priming coat of Zinc primer as approved by Engineer-in-charge and painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint (Shop drawings shall be submitted by the contractor to the Engineer-in-charge for approval before execution). The frame work shall be fixed in true horizontal & vertical lines/planes. Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc. including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-charge.( for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.)[N.S. Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, 3mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with glass fibre matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 ltr/sqm. by the same membrane manufactured of density at 25°C, 0.87 - 0.89 kg/ltr and viscosity 70 -160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc., and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 350/300 N/5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 60/80N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C.Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM,D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane : 3mm thick.[N.S (DSR 22.19)]
Extra for covering top of membrane with Geotextile, 120gsm non woven, 100% polyester of thickness 1 to 1.25mm bonded to the membrane with intermittent touch by heating the membrane by Butane Torch as per manufactures recommendation. [N.S (DSR 22.21)]
Providing and Placing in position suitable PVC water stops conforming to IS : 12200 for construction / expansion joints between two RCC members and fixed to the reinforcement with binding wire before pouring concrete etc. complete:[N.S (DSR 22.4)] Serrated with central bulb (225 mm wide, 8-11 mm thick).[22.4.1]
Earth work non plastic with Tibba Sand under floors taken from outside of campus area with all lead and lift including loading, unloading, laid in 15 cm layer including ramming, watering, consolidating, compaction, and compensation of earth etc., complete in all respect as per the direction of engineer in charge. (For any lead and lift). Basement Level (-6.72m) [NS].
Providing and fixing 12 mm thick frameless toughened glass door shutter of approved brand and manufacture, including providing and fixing top & bottom pivot & spring type fixing arrangement and making necessary holes etc. for fixing required door fittings, all complete as per direction of Engineer-incharge (Door handle, lock and stopper etc.to be paid separately). [ NS.21]
Recovery Items The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Earth obtained on excavation of basement have been calculated taking assumption that theoretical earth will be retrieved. The excavated earth will be issued for use in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) as per approval of employer. In case it is not possible to use this earth on the work, the agency can take away this earth after approval from employer; This earth will be issued at the price quoted by the agency. However the reserve price is as under:-(i) Excavated earth @ Rs.183.00/- Per Cum with all lead & lift. Note: - All quantities of the above earth have worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this building. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved earth. There shall be no measurement after actual excavation and if earth after excavation is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
