REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF DI/GI/CI/PPR PIPE LINE ALONGWITH CONNECTED ITEMS FOR PUMP HOUSES AND ALLIED WORKS IN DOMESTIC/ TECHNICAL AREA AT AFS UNDER GE (AF) JORHAT

Amount

Excavation in trenches n.exc. 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5m deep for taking out / laying CI / GI / DI/ CPVC/ PPR pipe line as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm thick layers complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated material n. exc. 50m distance and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5m above from starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for horizontal boring below pavement /road as in soft/loose soil for crossing 40mm to 150mm bore GI pipe lines complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out from trenches CI pipe lines (including all fittings) of following sizes with spigot and socket ends with burnning of lead joints, etc. including taking out lead from joints complete all as specified and directed :- NOTE:- Necessary excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately.

Collecting/taking sample of raw water and tap water from pump houses and getting tested from Directorate of PHED office for physical /Chemical /Bacterelogical analysis. The report shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) Water sample shall be collected by the contractor from Pump House Nos. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,11 & 13. (ii) Rate quoted shall be all inclusive.

M&L for preparing old painted steel surfaces of pipes those are exposed and laid horizontally at pump houses not exc. 10cm width or girth by scrapping with mild steel wire brush and sand papering to remove the existing paint completely and sludges, rust, etc. and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specifed and as directed. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ
