MC and EW (CAM) for restoration of Collapse Bastion and Main Entrance at Balapur Fort, Balapur, Dist. Akola

Vegetation clearance including uprooting rank vegetation, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level with disposal lead of 500m.

Removal of fallen debris of bastion consisting of earth, stones, boulders & other foreign materials including sorting out and stacking serviceable materials at suitable place at site and disposal of unserviceable materials at lead of 500m by mechanical transport etc.

Taking out bulged out, out of plumb, sunken and weathered UCR stone masonry wall very carefully by manual labour and chain-pully blocks after properly numbering the stones one by one so as to reset them in their original position including sorting and stacking of serviceable materials in rows at suitable place. Brushing and washing of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials and debris to a lead of 100 m and lift of 1.5 to 2.5 m complete.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose.

Providing and Reconstruction of fallen bastion in UCR masonry with bond stones of basaltic stone in lime mortar 1:1:1 of veneering wall in faced side dressing with racking out joints on the inside with watering and erecting of scaffolding upto height of 6m with lead of 100m and lift of 6m etc. [M3] (60% New, 40% Old)

Providing core filling of UCR stone Granite/Quartzite/Genesis stone in Lime Mortar 1:1:1 in inner core of wall incl. compacting, finishing uneven & honey combed surface incl. curing etc. complete with lead 100m etc (Salvage 10%) Fort Bastion (M3) (60% New, 40% Old)

Provision for providing core filling with earth & murum after the recommendation of bastion backside area incl. compaction ramming watering etc. complete (M3)

Providing & laying of Lime Concrete 1:1:1:4 of trap/ granite/ Quartzite/ genesis metal over fort wall as water tightening to arrest seepage/ penetration of water incl. lead of 100m & lift of 6m etc. (M3)

Providing of pointing with lime mortar 1:1:1 including erecting scaffolding wiping out mortar showing the edges of stone with lead of 100m and lift of 6m etc.
