Supply, Laying, Jointing, testing & commissioning in repair LT under ground cable XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strips or wire armoured, heavy duty with multi stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade (ISI marked) laid in trenches, ducts, pipes or fixed on poler of size 16 Sqmm 4 core complete all as specified and directed. including taking down old unserviceable cable.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying of cables, pipe lines etc n exc 10sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose type of soil including trimming of tree roots in trenches complete all as specified.

Returning, filling-in, including spreading, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each layer in soft /loose soil complete all as specified.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

M & L Sand cushioning to PVC under ground cable with screened and washed tibba sand (non cohessive), 8 cm before laying cable and 15cm after laying and punned to 18cm after laying of cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose.

M&L for Servicing of DG Sets of capacity 250 KVA (make Kirloskar/ Cummins/CG/Ashok Leyland) by the authorised Engineer of respective manufacturer to make the DG Set continous operational condition including the following checkings all as specified and directed. (i) Draining out the existing engine oil, clean the oil sump thoroughly and refilling with required quantity of new engine oil 15W40 & coolant to top up . (Note :- New oil, coolant will be measured and paid separately) (iii) Checking the starting batteries and filling with electrolyte/Distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity. Cleaning of Battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors. (Distilled water measured and paid seperately) (iv) Checking and cleaning of fan motor hub (iii) Checking and cleaning of exhaust system including removing of deposited carbon in exhaust pipe and checking of inlet manifold belt and cap screw (iv) Cleaning of radiator inside and out side thoroughly with solution (caustic soda) to the entire satisfaction of Eng-in-charge by removing and re-fixing in original position after cleaning.(v) Checking and adjusting injector and valves, tappet and replace the gasket including cost of gasket. (vi) Cleaning fuel inlet connections and screw, (vii) Checking of vibration damper and rectified. (viii) Servicing of turbocharger by checking, leakage tightening of mounting screws & nuts and replace oil. (ix) Checking water temperature safety control (xi) Servicing of governer and Changing of governor oil. (xii) Checking and adjusting all fan belt. (xiii) Any other check as per manufacturer`s instructions (xiii)Testing of DG set at connected load all as directed by the Engr in charge Note for item no 7 to 12: (i) The work should be done through authorised service provider of OEM( GCL/EKL/KIRLOSKAR) and only genuine parts should be used as per OEM (ii) Repair and Transportation charge for carrying out repair & reinstall on same installation back shall be deemed to be included in this rates (iii) Necessary spare parts required if any will be measured and paid under relevant items, fixing charges of these spare parts shall be deemed to be included in the rate. (iv) Engine oil /Spares/filters of make reccomended by OEM will only be used for servicing of DG set

Servicing/ repairs of AMF panel complete including cleaning resetting/ adjustment of relays, calibration of time delay relays, checking and replcement of diods, if required, resistors contactor etc. complete for any make type and capacity of DG sets.

Disconnecting and dismantling the alternator unit of 250 KVA DG set capacity from the base plate of the DG set and transporting to workshop for repair, dismantling the unit, further separating the armature from the startor carefully, cutting and taking out the burnt windings of the alternator carefully, cleaning the slots and, duly applying the insulation and assembling the stampings inserting in position in the startor including applying slot insulation and rewinding of the alternator startor with super enameled copper conductor of same gauge and same number of turns as that of existing one including replacement of carbon brushes tapping the windings and bringing out the coil conections for production of 3 phase 415 volt 50 HZ AC supply and preheating the windings and applying insulating varnish and drying the windings in oven and assembling the unit and transporting back to installation and fixing on base plate and coupling with the DG set and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of existing defective Excitor of the cap 250 KVA to 160 KVA DG set disconnecting the electric connecting and taking out to work shop cutting down and removing existing burnt out copper windings, cleaning of slots and rewinding with solid copper conductor (winding wire) complete including varnishing, drying ovening overhauling greeasing and fixing in the same position making necessary electric connection and testing on DG set complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Earthing complete as per electrical plate No 5 of MES SSR Part I with galvanised steel plate earth electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.0mm, burried directly vertically in ground in a pit of depth not less than 2.5 metres below ground level with the top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.8m below normal ground level connected to and including galvanised iron or steel earth strip 32X6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel. Earthing wire protected by galvanised iron or steel pipe 40mm bore light grade and connected to continuous earth wire on pole/ test point. Watering pipe shall be 20mm bore GI medium grade. The earthing shall be inclusive of excavation and earth work in any type of soil,charcoal, salt,funnel , PCC pit and RCC cover complete all as specified & directed. Note 1 - following items deemed to be included in quoted rate (a) Earth electrode. (b) Main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point and further to equipment to be earthed upto 7.5 metre. (c) Material and labour for connecting earth electrode and earthing lead as specified. (d) Adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt as per direction. (e) All labour involved including testing of earth net work. (f) Excavation and earth work or drilling hole for electrode. (g) P.C.C. pit and C.I. cover. (h) Funnel with watering pipe, wire mesh and copper lugs etc. as specified. (j) G.I. protection pipe of size ordered specified for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering. Note 2 - On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.

Disconnecting & taking out the existing Unserviceable LT panel and S&F new out door (Kiosk type) type LT panel as per IP - 54, weather & vermin proof MS sheet housing 3.15 mm thick, powder coated over a coat of primer, double door, front & rear openable type, mounted on 40x40x6 mm angle iron frame, floor mounted type with one incomer MCCB, 4 pole, 630 Amp, 35/36 KA, 415 volts, thermal release, adjustable type (Ics=100%Icu) as incomer and Two outgoing outgoing MCCB,4 pole, 400 Amp, 35/36 KA, 415 volts, thermal release, adjustable type (Ics=100%Icu) with one on-load changeover switch, 4 pole, 415 Volts, 630 Amps & Aluminium bus bar 800 Amp of length not less than 60 cm, 4 pole duly drilled with holes for cable connections, after due approval of panel drawing including PCC pedestals of suitable size, removal of old unsv panel, making good the area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L Bricks for protection cover to under ground cable (with old size sub class ‘B’ bricks) laid flat abutting each other with width of protection being equal to length of brick. The gap between adajcent bricks shall not exceed 10 mm as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Servicing of Diesel pump fire fighting of capacity 75 BHP (make Kirloskar/ Cummins/CG/Ashok Leyland) by the authorised Engineer of respective manufacturer to make the Diesel pump continous operational condition including the following checkings all as specified and directed. (i) Removing the existing engine oil, clean the oil sump and refilling with required quantity of new engine oil 15W40 & coolant to top up .
