PROVN OF ALUMINIUM PARTITION, DOOR, IRON LADDER AT BHISIANA UNDER GE (AF) BHISIANA

Excavation in post holes in soft/loose soil n. exc 0.50 cum each, getting out, returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers n. exc 25 cm including removing of surplus spoil to a distance n exc 50 mtr and making good the disturbed surfaces all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation filling, in post hole, bed block, around the poles/stay, coping/Pedestal of pole, etc & similar work including necessary form work, finishing the exposed surfaces of the concrete even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for mild steel staircase work (framed type) comprising stringers, treads, risers, landings, balusters, handrails, newel posts, cleats, brackets, gusset plates, stiffeners, base plates, connection plates and all other structural members, fabricated from M.S. angle, tee, channel, flat, plate and other rolled steel sections conforming to Grade Fe-410-W (Grade E-250 Quality A). The work shall include cutting, bending, notching, drilling, punching, countersinking, edge preparation, welding, riveting, grinding of welds, fabrication, erection, alignment, levelling and fixing in position with approved holding-down bolts, anchor fasteners, nuts, bolts, screws, washers and all necessary fixing accessories required for complete installation. The item shall also include all scaffolding, staging, lifting arrangements, temporary supports, welding electrodes, gas cutting, consumables, tools and plant, making good disturbed surfaces, safety measures and all incidental works necessary to complete the staircase in all respects, as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, exceeding 10 cm in width or girth, including cleaning the surface free from dust, dirt, grease, oil and other foreign matter and surface imperfections by rubbing down with emery paper/sand paper or by other approved means to obtain a clean, smooth and even surface and further applying one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer and two coats of first-quality synthetic enamel paint of approved brand, shade and tint, each coat applied by brush only after proper preparation and complete drying of the preceding coat, to produce a smooth, uniform, durable and aesthetically acceptable finish, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for fabrication and fixing of aluminium doors/windows/ventilators (glazed, fly proof), partitions and fixed glazing units of any type, provision of window AC or Cooler, including side-hung, top-hung, sliding window (two or three track), fixed, partition type, with or without sash bars and mullions/transoms, fabricated from aluminium extruded sections conforming to IS:733 and IS:1285. The work shall be carried out using standard tubular sections, Z-sections and other approved aluminium sections suitable for frames, shutters, rails, stiles, mullions, transoms and glazing members, complete with one or more rebates, sliding channel as required. The aluminium sections shall be powder coated with a minimum coating thickness of 50 microns and shall be straight, smooth, free from defects, properly mitred and mechanically jointed with approved cleats, brackets, screws and fasteners. The item shall include all necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, EPDM/neoprene gaskets, weather seals, anodised aluminium snap beading, screws and anodised aluminium hardware/architectural aluminium mongery including hinges, pivots, peg stays, handles, tower bolts, sliding door bolts, dash fasteners, rollers, guides and other fittings as required for proper operation of the doors/windows/ventilators. The frame shall be fixed in position with approved fasteners consisting of PVC rawl plugs and fully threaded steel screws of suitable size, complete with all cutting, fitting, making good disturbed surfaces and all other incidental works necessary for satisfactory completion of the work, any approved design complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) The weight of each aluminium section or complete door/window/ventilator shutter, including all fittings, accessories and aluminium hardware, but excluding decorative grills, glass, wire cloth, prelaminated boards and other panel-filling materials, shall be physically ascertained at site in the presence of the Engineer-in-Charge. Payment shall be made only on the basis of the actual weight so determined. (ii) Panel-filling materials such as glass, prelaminated boards, wire cloth, decorative grills or any other infill materials shall be fixed only after the weight of the shutter has been physically ascertained. No claim whatsoever arising from the exclusion of such panel-filling materials from the measured weight shall be entertained. (iii) Glass, prelaminated boards, wire cloth, decorative grills, door closers and other panel-filling materials shall be measured and paid for separately under the respective BOQ items. (iv) Measurement for payment shall be made in kilograms (kg) based on the actual weight of aluminium work fixed in position, including approved fittings and aluminium hardware but excluding items specifically measured and paid separately.

Supply & fixing 12mm thick particle board as per IS 12823: 2015, interior grade BWR grade bonded with phenol formaldehyde synthetic resin, pre-laminated both side with decorative choice lamination, fixed to aluminium door frame work all as specified and directed. Note :- Cost for Aluminium fittings and beading for securing the board shall be included in main item of aluminium window/ventilator of BOQ.

Supply & fixing 5.5 mm thick tinted ordinary/annealed glass in squares/rectangular, any area exc 0.5sqm in each pane (aluminium door/window/ventilator) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. (i) The cost of fixing members/accessories forming part of the respective door/window/ventilator frame, such as glazing beads, retaining flats, clips or other holding arrangements, shall be deemed to be included in the respective BOQ item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (ii) The quoted rate for this item shall include all minor consumables and incidental materials or other small fixing accessories, required for proper fixing of the glass. No extra payment shall be admissible on this account.

Supply & fixing Hydraulic Door Closer Pelmet Arm & PVD (Physical vapor deposition) Cover Door Closer (overhead door closers), With a wide 130-degree opening and an adjustable closing speed, Load Capacity 60-85kg, door opening 800 to 1250mm, Commercial-grade aluminium alloy, Weather-proof and rust-resistant complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fixing Floor door stopper of stainless steell (304 grade) body and tongue, anodised, with hard drawn steel spring, including steel screws complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing and fixing factory-made uPVC glazed casement (openable) door, white in colour, fabricated from extruded multi-chamber uPVC profiles of approved make with minimum profile wall thickness 2.3 mm (±0.2 mm). The door shall comprise an outer frame/chowkhat of size 60 mm × 58 mm, door shutter (sash) of size 60 mm × 78 mm, mullion/T-profile (where provided) of size 60 mm × 74 mm, and glazing beads of size 35mm × 20mm, all mitre-cut and fusion welded at the corners to form rigid, square and weather-tight joints. The profiles shall be reinforced with galvanized steel inserts comprising frame reinforcement 28 mm × 21.5 mm, shutter reinforcement 31 mm × 27.5 mm and mullion/T-profile reinforcement 27 mm × 17 mm, securely inserted within the respective uPVC sections. The door shall be provided with EPDM gaskets of minimum 1.2 mm (±0.2 mm) thickness, including all necessary machining and drilling for fixing the hardware. The frame shall be fixed to the masonry/RCC opening using 8 mm diameter × 100 mm long zinc-coated or stainless-steel fasteners at the manufacturer's recommended spacing. The shutters shall be fitted with approved quality hardware comprising white powder-coated zinc alloy handles, heavy-duty white powder-coated zinc alloy butt hinges, galvanized steel transmission gear with multi-point locking system, keyed cylinder lock with lockable handle, and all necessary screws, fasteners and accessories suitable for the size and weight of the shutter. The glazing shall consist of 8 mm thick clear toughened safety glass, securely fixed with glazing beads, EPDM gaskets and approved weather-resistant sealant to provide a weatherproof, dustproof and rattle-free installation, complete in all respects, all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) The quoted unit rate shall be deemed to include the cost of all hardware, fittings, galvanized steel reinforcements, EPDM gaskets, glazing beads, 8 mm thick clear toughened safety glass, fasteners, sealants, packers, shims and all other accessories required for complete installation. No extra payment shall be admissible on this account. (ii) Measurement for payment shall be made in Square Metres (Sqm) based on the overall outer dimensions of the door frame (overall frame width × overall frame height) fitted in the masonry/RCC opening.
