Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches in hard/dense soil, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and directed

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated soil exc. 1.5km but n exc. 5 km and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for treating the bottom and sides of excavation at the rate of 5 litres of emulsion per square metre of surface area, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for treating the backfill in contact with foundation at the rate of 7.5 litres of emulsion per square metre of vertical surface (Area of the sub structure in contact with backfill to be measured), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for treating the top surface of filled earth at the rate of 5 litres of emulsion per square metre of surface with ATT, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base / sub-floor below footing or foundation, plinth beam complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of RCC of any description and in any position not other wise specially provided for (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition ) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for providing Reinforced Cement Concrete (1:1.5:3) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.
