REPAIRS TO ROOF TREATMENT OF CERTAIN BLDGS AT AREA NO 1, 2 and 3 AND REPAIRS TO PLASTERING, FLOORIG, PLUMBING, SANITARY FITTINGS AND CONNECTED WORKS TO MD ACCN OF DAD UNDER GE BELGAUM

Material and labour for Providing roof treatment with APP modified water proofing membrane with the following specifications complete. all as specified and as directed.

(a) Removing existing roof/ chajjas treatment of any type like plastic felt/ HP tiles of any description including taking down existing plastering/ concrete of any thickness and cleaning the top surface of RCC slab with wire brush including removal of debris outside the MOD premises

(b) Brushing with neat cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm on cleaned RCC slab surface and rendering 10 mm thick in CM 1:3 mixed with water proofing compound and finishing surface even and smooth without using extra cement. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately

(c)Preparation of plastered surfaces by removing dust, dirt and applying oil bound bituminuous primer at the rate of 0.3 litre per Sqm and providing APP modified water proofing membrane weight not less than 4.5kg/ sqm reinforced with non oven polyester mat of weight not less than 160gms per Sqm including minimum 10cm side/ over lap and applying a coat of hot blown bitumen grade 85/25 over membrane at the rate of1.2kg per Sqm and on drying applying a coat of solar reflective bituminuous aluminium paint at the rate of 0.1kg/sqm.

NOTE: APP modified water proofing membrane shall be of any one of the approved makes as specified in Particular specification and shall confirm to specifications given in IS 16540-2017/ IS 16532-2017. Contractor shall produce necessary test certificate of the manufacturer to the Engineer-in-charge before incorporation in the work. Necessary independent tests shall also be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the department as per relevant IS specifications and membranes with satisfactory test results shall only be incorporated in the work.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B1 by using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in roof padding/benching for maintaining slope wherever required over slabs n exc 15 cm thick including necessary form work and finishing the exposed surface even without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed .

Material and labour for Roof Treatment by Authorised Agent : Dr. Fixit :- (a) Surface preparation :- (i) Surface shall be prpared for free from all dust, loose particles laitance and sharp edges. Fungus and algae or the organic matters shall be removed using sutiable tools.

(ii) All cracks shall be repaired by cutting V groove along the longitudinal section of cracks and filling with polymer modified mortar admixed with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP at ratio of 1:5:15 (URP : cement : sand) respectively. (iii) All potholes and uneven surfaces shall be repaired with polymer modified mortar after applying a bond coat of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP at 1:1 ratio (URP : Cement).

(b) Priming :- Providing and applying one coat of Dr. Fixit primseal on prepared surface to provide bonding and anti efflorescent coating by diluting the primer with water at the ratio of 2:1 (Primer : Water) (c) Application of Water Proof Coating :- Providing and applying acrylic polymer Heavy Duty Fibre reinforced coating of Dr. Fixit new coat, the system consist of three coats of application, new coat provides a 1mm thick heavy duty water proof coating , designed for foot traffic only .

Material and labour for Weather Proof Coating for External Walls by Authorised Agent : Dr. Fixit :- (a) Surface preparation :- (i) Surface shall be prepared for free from all dust, loose particles laitance and sharp edges. Fungus and algae or the organic matters removed by using sutiable tools.

(ii) Any wide shrinkage cracks shall be cut open to receive the crack filling materials like Dr. Fixit crack X paste (cracks of upto 5mm) or Dr. Fixit crack X shrink free (cracks upto 10mm) (iii) Any wall separation (Beam, Column and masonry separation) shall be filled with polymer modified mortar admixed with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP at a ratio of 1:3 mortar with polymer dosage of 12-20%

(b) Priming :- (i) Priming shall be done for the freshly plastered or putty surface by use of Dr. Fixit primseal acrylic water based penetrating primer to form as a bond coat. (c) Application of Water Proof Coating :- Providing and applying two caots of Dr. Fixit Raincoat to form weather proof and decorative coating with 80 - 100 micron thickness for 100% elongation properties.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints ,hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removal of debris outside the MD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Rendering 5 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 with water proofing compound over 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 as backing coat on fair faces of brick work / PCC Block masonry or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Rendering 5 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on concrete surface in ceiling finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for Preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of chalk whitening primer complete all as specified and as directed .

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections 15mm dia bore of pipe and taken as creditcomplete all as specified and as directed .

Material and labour for Mild steel TMT bars of Fe 500 or Fe 500D, 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for Precast reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 ,type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in cover slab and set in cement morter 1:6 including necessary steel form work / moulds complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Providing sunken floor treatment with APP modified water proofing membrane with the following specifications complete all as specified and as directed. (i)Removing existing floor treatment of any type and any description including taking down existing plastering of any thickness and cleaning the top surface of RCC slab with wire brush including removal of debris to a distance exc 50m but n exc 100m . (ii) Brushing with neat cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm on cleaned RCC slab surfaces and rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 mixed with water proofing compound and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately

(iii) Preparation of plastered surfaces by removing dust, dirt and applying oil bound bituminuous primer at the rate of 0.3 litre per Sqm and providing APP modified water proofing membrane weight not less than 4.5kg/Sqm reinforced with non oven polyester mat weight not less than 160gms per Sqm including minimum 10cm side/over lap and applying a coat of hot blown grade bitumen grade 85/25 at the rate of 1.2kg per Sqm or cold application of bituminuous elastomeric coat at 0.70 kg/ sqm

Material and labour for Plain cement concrete 1:5:10, type E2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in filling under sunken floors etc, including demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving n exc 15 cm thick (below or above GL) and removal of rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Non Skid ceramic tile of 7 to 8mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, as in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including screed bed or bedding layers 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) for laying floor finishes and dismantling of existing floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing, rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.Note :Make of Non Skid ceramic tile : HR Johnson/Khajaria/Naveen
