Boring/ Drilling/trail pilot bore' of suitable dia for lowering upto 200mm bore ERW pipe, by suitable method (by ODEX or DTH-cum-rotary or reverse rig method or hammer method or telescopic method) to any depth (not exceeding 160m) below ground level in any type of strata/ soil/ rock with sand including disposal of materials obtained (soil, rock etc.) from boring to a distance not exceeding 50m with and including deploying required rig, machinary, T&P, equipments etc. with and including collection of logical samples (drilling/cutting) and to maintain drill time logbook complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 1. Neccessary fuel, lubricant and chemicals extra required for construction work shall be arrange by contractor and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates. 2. Depending upon availability of water bearing strata, drilling beyond 160 RM below ground level to be carried out with prior written approval of GE. 3. Items except Ser item no 01 to be executed only after successful execution of this item of work / successful boring depending upon availability of water. No any claim of contractor on this account shall be entertained.

Development of pilot / trial bore by reaming vertical bore upto 550 mm in steps by heavy duty direct rotary rig machine at approved site location in any type of strata for upto 200mm bore ERW casing pipe for following depth as mentioned below including all connected works complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge:-

Upto a depth of 60m from ground level.

From depth exceeding 60m depth as required at site and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- The cost of hiring and transportation of suitable truck mounted rig machine and other required equipments deemed to be included in quoted rates. Nothing extra to be paid to the contractor on this account.

Supplying, assembling and lowering in position in the bore hole inner assembly of MS housing blind pipes ERW grade screwed and socketed jointed 175 mm nominal bore and 6.4 mm ± 12.5% wall thickness or bevelled end confirming to IS 4270 complete all as specified and directed

Supplying, assembling and lowering in position in the bore hole inner assembly of MS housing slotted pipes ERW grade screwed and socket jointed 175 mm nominal bore and 6.4 mm ± 12.5% wall thickness or bevelled end confirming to IS 4270 complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The length as mentioned at Ser Item No. 03 & 04 here-in-before may vary as per availability of water.

S&F Housing clamps in position MS holding down clamps (Set of two nos.) made out of 40 mm X 5 mm flat iron and length upto 0.75 metre, bent to shape as suitable to holding 65mm coloumn pipe complete with 4 Nos. nut, bolt & washers complete all as speicifed and directed.

Supplying sample box of strata sample made out of teak wood planks 25mm thick size of board 1000mm X 1000mm incl two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and incl a coat of zinc chronate primer, size of sample bins 100mm X 100mm with front provided with glazed hinged shutters, hasp and staples for strata samples as found while drilling tube well and fixed in position complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for packing with pea gravels of size 3 to 8 mm natural shape, uniform in size, hard and well rounded free from dust and any impurity, brought direct from river bank, packing around casing pipe to entire depth upto required ground water table level complete all as specified and directed.

Developing the tube/ bore well firstly by means of pumping unit, using air compressor unit of adequate capacity not less than 250 PSI and then by over pumping untill sand free water is obtained & testing the yield for duration as under, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge:-

With air compressor (first 24 hours).

With air compressor (24 hours to 48 hours).

Over pumping with the help of suitable size of pump and accessories and standby DG set in order to ensure continuous pumping for 24 hours and yield test by 'V' notch method/ orifice method. Note :- The cost of provision/ hiring and transportation of of all T&P required for testing and other equipments required are deemed to be included in quoted rate. Nothing extra to be paid to contractor on this account.

Chemical and bacteriological testing of water sample to ensure potability of water complete including collection of samples, carrying to Lab and testing charges etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, laying and testing U-PVC pipe of 65mm nominal pipe dia, SH-40 grade as in column pipe including all type of fittings & jointing materials all as per IS 4985-2000, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing CI non return valve of 65 mm bore, flanged ends, swing type with nitrile rubber flap, heavy duty, PN 1.0 (Flanged) class, all as per IS:1538, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Submersible pump, 12.5 HP capacity, electric driven 415 V, TP suitable for 200 mm dia bore well (Casing pipe size 200 mm) with 28 to 135 mtr head and discharge range 560 to 250 LPM, for 65 mm nominal dia delivery line with all accessories, fittings and hanging with nylon rope in bore well complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Hanging rope shall be measured under relevant item as supply only.

Supply and fixing fully automatic star delta starter suitable for submersible pump 12.5 HP capacity, having overload relay range 8.0 A to 12A complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing PVC insulated & PVC Sheathed Industrial copper cable for Submersible Pump Motors, flat type, 10 sqmm, 3 core 1100 volts grade conforming to IS 694-2010, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing cable XLPE Insulated, screened, PVC innersheathed, galvanized steel strip armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade Extruded PVC Type ST2 Outer Sheathed, as per IS 7098 (Part 1) 1988 with upto date amendments with stranded aluminum conductor of size having cross sectional area 35 sq mm 3.5 core laid in trenches / fixed on poles / walls / passed through pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note:- All Excavation and earthwork shall be paid separately.

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil for laying /jointing kit / laying of cable and erection of poles complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated material n.exc 50 meters and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and directed

M & L for Sand cushioning on and under ground cables provided with a layer of sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep after laying and proper straightening / streching of cable, which then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper-most cable complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The punning shall be done by hand; mechanical punners shall not be used.

Supply and laying well burnt class ‘B’ bricks as mechanical protection to under ground cables laying with length of the bricks across to the width of the trench complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and fixing of Mild Steel (heavy duty) ERW Pipe including specials, fittings and jointing materials, having nominal bore dia 80 mm as per IS 1239 Part-I (2004) incl all amendments thereto thickness 4.8 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of Cast Iron Sluice Valve, (Flanged) of class PN-1.6, for bore of pipe 80 mm, hand wheel operated, Non-rising Stainless Steel stem, Bronze body Seat ring, all as per IS 1538-1993 incl upto date amendments, complete all as specified and directed.

Construction of brick masonary valve pit of size 1200x1200x1200mm (Internal dimension) incl necessary earth work, 15 cm thick PCC 1:4:8 as in foundation, brickwork in CM 1:6, 15 cm thick PCC 1:2:4 as in coping of brickwalls, 15mm thick plastering in CM 1:4, and MS sheet 3 mm thick cover with angle iron frame 40 mm x 40 mm x 6mm including provision of suitable hold fasts to hold the frame, locking arrangement and lifting handle, duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and incl a coat of red oxide primer all as shown in drg held with GE office complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and laying of GI pipe light grade galvanized with all fittings laid in trenches for cable protection of 50 mm bore all as specified and directed

M & L in replacement for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.0mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5meter below normal ground level ,connected to and including using galvanized iron wire of 4.0 mm dia as earthling lead by means of bolts nuts, cheek nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel .earth plate surrounded by alternate layers packed with char coal dust and common salt ,15cm thick and 15cm wide all around bottom and top and watering pipe 20mm bore of GI light grade with funnel, wire mesh and 40mm dia GI protection pipe medium grade all as shown in electrical plate no-3 of SSR part-I and connected to earthling test point, and including testing on completion all as specified location and as directed by Engineer-in -charge. Note: 1. Suitable quantity of charcoal, common salt, funnel, GI pipe required for watering, pit & CI pit cover etc is deemed to be included in quoted rate and lead wire used beyond 7.5m from pit cover will be measured separately. 2. On testing after completion if the desired resistance is not obtained the earthing shall be re-done at no extra cost.

Supply only Nylon rope twisted, Virgin Polypropylene 3-strand, Hawser-laid, having nominal diameter of 10mm, complete all as per IS:5175-1992, incl ammendments thereto, suitable size for hanging submersible pump complete all as specified and directed.
