MAINTENANCE OF VARIOUS TYPE OF EARTHING AND

Taking down old unserviceable earth pit and M/L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600X600X6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5M below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm dia by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washer of GI steel and connecting to testing point including provision of test point and all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Pt I. The work is inclusive of necessary earth work and PCC chamber in RCC (1:2:4) Type B-1using 20mm crushed stone aggregate with 8 CTD bar reinforcement both ways at 140 mm centre to centre complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) GI earth lead beyond 7.5M shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) The rate include measuring earth resistance (iii)Weather coating paint will be done over chamber and inclusive in the above rate quoted .

Supply and fixing in repair GI earth strip of size 25x4 mm in ground not exceeding 40cm deep / fixing to wall / structure including earthwork and necessary insulators, clamps, bolts, nuts etc.,

Supply and fixing in repair PVC insulated cable of size 50 sqmm, 1100Volts grade with multistrand copper conductors all as specified and directed.

Taking down rusted GI wire and Supply & fixing GI earth wire 4.00 mm dia for interconnecting of earth electrodes all as specified.

Taking down damaged copper earth strip and Supply & fixing copper earth strip of size 20.0 x 3.0 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc .for roof condutors and down conductors above ground level all as specified.

Taking down perished High density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe and supply & laying the High density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe of 50 mm bore complete including necessary fittings.

Taking down perished /dishaped, horizontal / vertical aluminimum conductor of any size and Material & labour for Aluminium strip 25 x3 size fixed to wall with insulator to over head tank / Storage shed or any other indicated situation all as specified and directed by Eng -in - charge . Note : The rate include Scaffloding ,/ Cradles etc . necessary for execution of work and protective measures.

M&L to carry out earth resistance tests with the help of earth resistance tester digital/analog as per fall of potential meth. Mentioned in IS 3043 and write the derived reading on the Earth Identification plate all as directed.

Taking down old board and S& F Display board (Earth pit marker) made out of 25 mm angular frame with 45 cm height one side welded with 2mm thick MS sheet, frame work of size 15cmx15cm including excavation , PCC foundation and duly painted with redoxide & two coats black enamel paint with following letter display with white paint earth pit marker. a) Earthing pit No:- b) Earthing resistance:- c) E-N volt:- d) Check done on:- e) Check due On:-

S&F Busbar supporting Insulator M10 Type for fixing of lightining arrestor connecting strip aluminium/ copper / GI strip on walls , building , roof of building fixing with screws and nut bolts all as per site requirement and all as directed by Engr- In - Charge

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming etc in layers not exceeding 25cm each in hard/dense soil.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point

Suply and filling common SALT in earth pits by removing soft soil to improve the earth resistense all as directed by Engr- In - Charge

Suply and filling Charcoal in earth pits by removing soft soil to improve the earth resistense all as directed by Engr- In - Charge

Surface dressing in hard / dense soil not eceeding 15 cm deep and clearing all the grass weeds etc in the earth pit surroundings after removing pcc pirt aside all as directed at site including setting complete all as directed at site all as directed by Engr- In - Charge
