REPAIR TO INTERNALS ROADS AT ZANGLI, DRUGMULLA, CHAKKIGAM IN THE AOR OF AGE B/R-I, REPAIR TO INTERNAL ROADS AT CHOWKIBAL, TANGDHAR, TREHGAM IN THE AOR OF AGE B/R-II AND REPAIR TO INTERNAL ROAD AND HARDSTANDING AT BANDIPUR, DAWAR IN THE AOR OF AGE B/R

Scarifying of picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface, exc. 50mm and not exc. 100mm deep in area exc 400 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required (type of aggregate granite, trap or basalt) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Srl item No 2 here-in-before but except material complete all as specified and directed. Note: Aggregate retrieved from ser item No 1 shall be reused.

M&L for repair to pot holes any depth n.exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, water, scoring sunked surface in road, path etc., cutting around edge at least 25mm in depth making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with 5.5% binder content ( VG-30) blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of existing black top surface by brushing with wire brush for removing cake mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove the all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing WBM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly priming tack coat with bitumen primer of paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 10 Kgs/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat/priming coat with bituminous (VG-30) primer @ at 5 Kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen with mechanical sprayer over black top surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat/priming coat with bituminous primer @ at 3 Kg per 10 sqm using VG 10 paving bitumen with mechanical sprayer over black top surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete (design mix) 30mm consolidated thickness with binder content VG 30 @ 5.50% by weight of total mix using 2% cement OPC 43 grade by weight total mix as filler material, laying with mechanical paver finisher, rolled and compacted with power roller exc 8 tonne but not exc 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L premix bituminous, macadam using 4% binder( paving bitumen VG-30 ) content by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) rolled with 8 to 12 tonne roller complete all as specified & directed. Notes for ser item No 8 to 14: (i) Preparation of mix in hotmix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible and has to maintain the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these items shall include for carrying out the works with depolyment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable. (ii) Central computerised Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of constituents for preparation of bituminous macadam and the same shall be laid with mechanical sensor paver all as specified and directed. (iii) Over newly provided bituminous macadam surfaces, further bituminous work, if ordered, shall be provided simultaneously after provision of bituminous macadamı& nο separate payment for provision of tack coat for bonding between the bituminous macadam & further bituminous work necessitated due to the time period gap or otherwise shall be made for separately. (iv) The Design mix shall be carried out from the Zonal lab/ Govt approved lab/Govt Engr College as approved by GE and design mix shall be got approved by GE before execution of the work. (v) The cost of all the above aspects shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of above item.
