Eligibility Criteria

Sub-leasing or G.P.A. of work is prohibited.& Joint tenders are not accepted

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Banker Details

The labour rates mentioned in Schedule B is inclusive of EPF ESI .GST will be paid separately for the contract amount if provision is made in the sanctioned estimate & GST will be deducted as per the prevailing Govt Orders from time to time

If the percentage quoted by bidder for supply of man power (item 3 and 4)in schedule B are less than the estimated rate, the tender is liable for rejection(as it will violate basic wage rates)

Undersign Reserves the right of rejecting all or any tenders without assigning any reasons

In case of contractor quoting rate above 125% of the estimate rates, then the amount over and above 125% will be withheld during the progress of work

The intending bidder should not be blacklisted or under any fraud charges cases as declared by Government of Karnataka

Security Deposit in the form of FDR or TDR should be submitted in advance before execution of agreement. (For General Bidders Only)

The successful bidder should execute work agreement within 20 days from the date of issue of Letter of Acceptance, failing which his tender Will be cancelled on Risk & Cost basis & his EMD will be forfeited

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes like GST will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders

The percentage/rate quoted by the contractor must be exclusive of GST and any other duties, taxes etc

Performance security. 1. Within 20 days of receipt of the letter of acceptance, successful tenderer shall deliver to the employer a security deposit in any of the forms given below for an amount equivalent to 5.00% of the contract price or prevailing percentage as per Government of Karnataka orders 2. The successful bidder should execute work agreement within 20 days from the date of issue of Letter of Acceptance, failing which his tender will be cancelled on Risk & Cost basis & action will be taken as per the Government orders

Payment of salaries/wages to the Literate Assistant /Heavy Mazdoor by the tenderer should not be less than the minimum wages as notified by Karnataka state Government from time to time, failing with which the contractor will be held responsible

Successful bidder should submit the ESI & EPF paid or deposited receipts every month to the concerned Sub Division

Successful bidder should submit salary or wages paid details every month to the concerned Sub Division

It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to pay the minimum wages to the Literate Assistant /Heavy Mazdoor every month without delay, even in the time when grants releases from Government are delayed

Engaging labors below the age of 18 years is strictly prohibited

The Executive Engineer/Assistant Executive Engineer reserves the right to select the Literate Assistant /Heavy Mazdoor proposed by the successful bidder and shall also have right to ask for replacement at any time during the contract period

Priority should be given to local Literate Assistant /Heavy Mazdoor (Skilled/Unskilled)

The bidder should follow all the rules pertaining to E.S.I &, P.F. Labour Act Government of Karnataka

Tenders will be finalized through lottery system in presence of all the bidders in division office when two or more than two bidders have quoted the same price

As per FD GO dated 26.03.2019, NSIC exemption for EMD is not accepted

The Successful bidder should abide to the Agreement & tender conditions, failing with which his agreement will be terminated
