REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF EM INSTALLATIONS (EM PORTION), MECHANICAL LAUNDRY AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS WORKS AT CITY AREA UNDER GE ALWAR

Rectifying defects in existing LED/fluorescent tube light fittings, wall/security light fittings, flood light fittings, CFL fittings and building security light fittings of any type, capacity, shape, position and at any height, by opening fittings where necessary, checking and tightening loose electrical connections, rectifying minor defects without replacement of components, refixing, testing and making the fittings serviceable, complete all as specified and directed.

Opening existing switch mounting plate fixed at normal height n exc 1.50 metre above floor level, checking and rectifying minor defects in switches, bell pushes, fan regulators, socket outlets and other fittings/accessories by tightening loose electrical connections, refixing switch mounting plate and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note for preceding two items: Quoted rates shall be deemed to include labour only for checking, rectification and making existing fittings/fixtures functional without replacement of any component. Where replacement of any part/accessory is necessary, the same shall be measured and paid separately under the relevant item of this Schedule and the corresponding rectification item shall not be measured and paid for the same fitting/fixture.

Taking down carefully existing copper/aluminium point wiring for light/fan/socket/power points, including taking down existing conduits/PVC casing and capping, switches, sockets and associated wiring accessories where required, and making good disturbed surfaces of walls/ceilings to match existing, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for point wiring for One light point controlled by one, one-way switch in PVC casing and capping with two single-core PVC insulated, unsheathed, FRLS, multistranded copper conductor cables of size 1.5 Sqmm, 1100 Volt grade, together with one single-core PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS multistranded copper conductor cable of size 1.5 Sqmm, 1100 Volt grade, green in colour as continuous earth continuity conductor, conforming to IS 694, drawn/fixed in and including S&F suitable size PVC casing and capping/concealed electrical grade PVC conduit with all accessories as applicable, including switch box/board with suitable cover plate for mounting switches, sockets, regulators and other accessories, connections, terminations and testing, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Quoted rates shall include cutting/chasing in brick/stone masonry, concrete/plastered surfaces as required for concealed wiring and making good disturbed surfaces including plastering/finishing to match existing.

All as per preceding item but for One light point controlled by one, one-way switch in concealed PVC conduit.
