Providing and applying Elastomeric water proofing treatment over terrace of PAL, Mascot, Hall7, DEF, SGP and other Seaside Buildings at North Site, BARC, Trombay, Mumbai.

Dismantling old plaster / skirting carefully,raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 100 m lead.

Providing 20 mm thick plastering using Ready mix External Plastering compound of approved make for External faces of brickwork / concrete surfaces including preparation of the surface, curing, cleaning scaffolding up to 10 metres height complete. all as per specifications including forming drip moulds wherever necessary and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing structural Repairs in Old Damaged concrete structures /surfaces with approved Polymer. With following operations 1) Removal of loose/Spaled or damaged concrete by chipping and cleaning the concrete suface and Reinforcement steel with wire brush and with water jet.2) Cleaning the Re bars with Acetone for complete Rust removal and washing with water jet to make the surface free from Acid content. 3) Applying Protective Coat / bond coat using Polymer and Cement in the proportion of 1; 1.5 ( 1 part of polymer and 1.5 parts of cement in Synthetic enamal paint like consistancy with brush 4) Reinstate the area with polymer modified mortar in layers of maximum 20 mm with the proportion of Cement 50 Kg : Washed and dried river sand 87.50 kg ; Silica sand 37.50 Kg. mixed with 10 litres of Polymer ( or 1 Kg cement : 1.75 kg Washed and dried river sand ; 0.75 Kg Silica Sand : 200 ml polymer) 5) If thickness of repair exceeds 20 mm, after every 20 mm thick bond coat as per 2 above to be applied before continuing further structural repair works. This work is inclusive of all materials, labour, scaffolding complete all as directed at site . (Polymer of approved equivalent make suitable for Structural repair shall be used ) Payment shall be made for quantity of polymer in Litres consumed in the work.

Lead charges for lead Exceeding 1 KM but not exceeding 2 KM, by mechanical transport including loading, unloading, stacking / levelling etc. 'Debris Beyond 1 Km but up to and including 2 km 'NOTE: The rate in respect of Item No. 4 are applicable for the NET Quantity arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 30% from the corresponding STACK / TRUCK measurements

Removing the top layer of cement mortar over brick bat coba and applying on same surface with polymer modified cement mortar with 3% polymer of weight of cement keeping water cement ratio less than 0.5 in 20 mm thick complete as per manufactures specification & as directed by Project Engineer.

Providing repairs to (Over Coat) chemical based waterproofing of modified acryllic emulsion polymer and Elastomeric water proof coating of M/S. Indofil chemicals or equivalent approved product over terrace slab/ parapet/side wall etc., at all elevations including cleaning the surface and using Indofil MC- 76 and Flex Coat- WP or approved equivalent as per manufacturer's specifictions as follows: '1. Remove all lose materials by wire brush and clean entire terrace completely by clean water. '2. Apply the bond coat of Indofil binder and cement in the ratio of 1:1 to entire waterproofing terrace surface as directed by Engineer In Charge. '3. To protect the polymer film and to enhance the life of coating, apply two coats of Indofil Flexcoat- WP @ 0.42 Kg/SqM for two coats minimum (Elastomeric water proofing exterior coating) over above surface with dilution 10% weight of potable water.

Providing chemical based waterproofing of modified acryllic emulsion polymer and Elastomeric water proof coating of approved product over terrace slab/ parapet/side wall etc., at all elevations including polycon based fibrous net including cleaning the surface and testing by ponding water complete using Indofil MC- 76 and Flex Coat-WP or approved equivalent as per manufacturer's specifictions as follows: '1. Remove all lose materials by wire brush and clean entire terrace completely by clean water. Use wherever required water jet (Pressure required 10 kg./Sq.cm). '2. Open all visible cracks using plaster Cutter machine / chisel in "V" shape up to crack depth. '3. Dilute Indofil binder with water in the ratio 1:4 and pour on the bare slab to be treated. This will penetrate the pores of concrete. '4. Apply Indofil binder and cement in the ratio of 1:1 based primer inside and adjacent to the cracks. '5. Fill the cracks with Indofil binder : Quartz Sand: Cement in the ratio 1:5:15 and water to be added to achieves the paste like consistency. '6. Apply the bond coat of Indofil binder and cement in the ratio of 1:1 to entire terrace. '7. Seal all joints such as collar joints of the drain water outlet using Indofil binder : Cement: Quartz Sand in the ratio of 1:5:15 + water for paste consistency. '8. Apply a coat of Indofil binder and Cement bond coat over above surface in the ratio of 1:1 i.e. (It is recommended that the surface can be dampen before applying 1st coat of mix of Indofil binder & cement or as per manufacturer's specifications). '9. Lay the Polycon based Fibrous waterproofing net ( Polyester Geotextile of min. 80 GSM) for entire area of terrace including lapping immediately after applying bond coat. ( To be laid immediately before drying 1st coat of Indofil binder and cement). '10. Apply one more coat of Indofil binder and cement on above fibrous net (Geo textile) in the ratio of 1:1 (can be applied within 12-18 hours of fibrous net laying). '11. To protect the polymer film and to enhance the life of coating, apply two coats of Indofil Flexcoat- WP @ 0.42 Kg/SqM for two coats minimum (Elastomeric water proofing exterior coating) over above surface with dilution 10% weight of potable water. '12. The above treatment should be done over terrace slab of any shape, parapet, gutter, etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. '13. Terrace surface to be tested for waterproofing - 7 days by ponding water over treated surface. 'Notes: 1. The entire work shall be carried out as per manufacturer's specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on appropriate stamp paper in the proforma as per Appendix "D" for the entire water proofing treatment in bone dry condition for 5 years, backed by manufacturer. During the guarantee period contractor shall attend all leakages, defects etc., if noticed, free of cost, starting the work of checking up and rectification within a week's time from the date of intimation about such leakages/defects. '2. Contractor shall maintain log book for consumption of materials. '3. Minimum average consumption: i) MC-76- should not be less than 0.8 Kg/Sq.M ii) Flex coat - should not be less than 0.42 Kg/Sq.M

Providing and fixing double tubular scaffolding system using H frames with cuplock type on the exterior side upto seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S.tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings ,runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the work men etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes.The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Dismantling roofing including ridges,hips,valleys and gutter/over expansion Joints, etc. and stacking the material within 50 m lead. 'G.I. Sheet

Providing and fixing machine moulded anodised aluminium sheet covering of approved pattern and design made out of required width machine cut aluminium steel and machine holed for receiving screws over expansion joints on vertical surfaces/ceilings/floors with full threaded, cadmium plated steel screws 4 mm dia, 30 mm long and aluminium washers 2 mm thick, 15 mm dia at a staggered pitch of 200 mm centre to centre including drilling holes in the receiving surface and providing expandable plastic sleeves in holes etc. complete, made out of colour anodized aluminium sheet 3.0 mm thick or as specified (Minimum coating of anodisation shall be of 15 micron thickness).

Filling the gap between aluminium frame & adjacent RCC / Brickwork / Stone work by providing weather silicon sealant of approved quality as per architectural drawings and directionof Engineer-in-charge complete Up to 5 mm depth and 5 mm width.

Removing bitumen based waterproofing Treatment from terrace, chajjas etc. disposing within 50 mtr.

Grouting the joints of floor tiles ,slab,wall,beams etc.with cement including fixing pvc socket all labour, material and cleaning etc complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
