REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION, FITTING, FIXTURES INCLUDING EARTHING OF SAILORS MARRIED ACCN OF KADAMBA VANAM AT NAVAL BASE UNDER GE(SB) KARWAR.

Amount

Rectifying the defects in domestic fluroscent tube/CFL light fittings any type and at any height, ceiling rose, electric bell by tightening loose connections and rectifying defects, testing complete all as specified and directed.

Opening switch mounting plate at normal height upto 1.5 meter, rectifying the defects in fittings and fixtures such as switches, bell push, fan regulator, sockets etc by tightening loose connections, refixing switch plate and testing complete all as directed. Note for Item No 1 & 2 :- The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included the elements of labour only for rectifying and making the fitting and fixtures functional. If replacement of parts/items is required to make the fittings functional, the cost for labour and material for the same will be measured and paid for as "S&F in repairs" under relevant items of this schedule hereinafter and in such cases the above items will not be measured and paid for.

Taking down copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fitting etc. removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions separately) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc.

M&L for surface point wiring 1100 Volts grade 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated FRLS sheathed cable with multistranded copper conductor conforming to IS:694:1990 with ISI marking in and including PVC casing & caping medium grade with all accessories in wall/ceiling /floor/roof etc, sunk pressed steel or cast iron terminal boxes with 3mm thick plastic laminated sheet top cover including 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated FRLS sheathed 1100 Volts multistranded copper conductor conforming to IS:694:1990 with ISI marking as continuous earth wire connected to common earth dolly all as specified and directed for the following:-

(a) One light/fan point controlled by one switch

(b) One 3 pin socket outlet 5 Amp on same board with other switches.

(c) One 3 pin socket outlet 5 Amp on independent board.

(d) One bell point controlled by one push button on the same board with other switches or independent with cables of 1.5 Sqmm size.

M&L for point wiring with 2.5 Sqmm PVC (FRLS) insulated sheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable 1100 volts grade single core conforming to IS-694-1990 and including one run of continous earth wire to common earth and connected to earth with 2.5 Sqmm PVC (FRLS) insulated sheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable draw in PVC casing caping including CI/MS/ PVC sunk boxes for mounting of 3 pin modular switch socket outlet 15/20 Amp on independent board with frame plate sheet cover of adequate size and making good disturbed surfaces with CM (1:4) to match with the existing surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No.5 here-in-before but with cables 4 Sqmm for one 3 pin socket outlet 15 Amps on independent board.

M&L for point wiring with 1.5 Sqmm PVC (FRLS) insulated sheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable 1100 volts grade single core conforming to IS-694-1990 and including one run of continous earth wire to common earth and connected to earth with 1.5 Sqmm PVC (FRLS) insulated sheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable draw in existing conduit complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down submain wiring cable of any size/type alongwith earth wire with or without concealed/surface conduit/casing caping complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sub main wiring with proper colour coding, FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor, sheated, multi-stranded, copper conductor, cable of two runs, 6 Sqmm for phase and neutral and one run of 6 Sqmm for earth wire, drawn through and including PVC casing and caping with all fittings like tee, bends, junction box/terminal box fixed on wall/ground/ceiling etc and connected complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note :- Phase should be of Red/Yellow/Blue, neutral should be of black and earthing wire should be of green colour. Two run of cable for phase/neutral and one run of cable for earth will be measured and paid as one unit length).

All as per item No 11 here-in-before but 4 Sqmm for phase and neutral and one run of 4 Sqmm for earth wire complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sub main wiring with proper colour coding, FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor, unsheated, multi-stranded, copper conductor, cable of two runs, 6 Sqmm for phase and neutral and one run of 6 Sqmm for earth wire, drawn through existing conduit and junction box fixed in wall/ceiling etc and connected complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note:- Phase should be of Red/Yellow/Blue, neutral should be of black and earthing wire should be of green colour. Two run of cable for phase/neutral and one run of cable for earth will be measured and pais as one unit length).

All as per item No 13 here-in-before but 4 Sqmm for phase and neutral and one run of 4 Sqmm for earth wire complete all as specified and directed.

Note : (a) The unit rate quoted shall deemed to be included for minor items viz nuts, bolts split pin and rubber wheel etc. (b) Capacitor & bearing shall be measured and paid sperately. (c) Rewinding of fan will be measured and paid separately

S&F in repairs capacitor of 2.5 mfd for ceiling fan/exhaust fan complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs bearing No 6201/6202/6203 suitable for ceiling fan/exhaust fan complete all as specified and directed. Make : SKF/NBC/TATA/FAG or equivalent.

M&L for removing of burnt out copper winding wire from ceiling fan of any make and size of 1200 mm to 1400 mm sweep including cleaning of slots etc and rewinding with super enameled copper winding wire as per existing size/gauge including insulating material, varnishing and drying complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per item No 37 here-in-before but exhaust fan of 300 mm sweep complete all as specified and directed.

Repair only energy meter 230/415 volt, 10-25 Amp including making incoming and outgoing electric connection and testing including taking down old defective energy meter and depositing the same to MES store yard complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair ventilator fan AC single phase 230v of size 200 mm (PVC body) with louvers shutter (white/Ivory) and connected with flexible cord of size 23/0/0076 stranded copper conductor PVC insulated of length not less than 0.7m complete all as specified and directed. Make- Orient/Bajaj/Usha/CG/Havells or equivalent. Note : Old unserviceable exhaust fan will be deposited in MES store by the contractor.

S&F in repair exhaust fan made of sturdy Engineering plastic complete with louvers shutter, voltage 230V, 50 Hz, RPM 1200, Copper winding of sweep 300mm complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old unserviceable exhaust fan will be deposited in MES store by the contractor.

S&F in repair exhaust fan AC single phase 230 V of size 300 mm, 1400 RPM (steel body) with louvers shutter grey colour and connected with flexible cord of size 23/0/0076 stranded copper conductor PVC insulated of length not less than 0.7m complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old unserviceable exhaust fan will be deposited in MES store by the contractor.

Supply and fixing in repair ceiling fans complete with blades, down rods, electronic regulator and accessories, 230 V, 1200 mm sweep. Min air delivery 210 CFM with service value 6.00 BEE. Five star rated with brushless direct current motor (BLDC) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs heating element 1.5 KW of storage type water heaters (geyser) embedded type nickel plated duly mineral filled, ISI Marked complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs heating element 2.0 KW of storage type water heaters (geyser) embedded type nickel plated duly mineral filled, ISI Marked complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs thermostat adjustable between 30 degree C to 85 degree C for geyser complete all as specified and directed.
