COMPREHENSIVE AIRFIELD MAINTENANCE IN AOR OF AGE B/R-III UNDER GE(NORTH) BATHINDA AT BATHINDA MIL STN

Providing labour and material for taking out existing sealing compound from partially filled joints of size 10 mm wide and up to complete depth of filled material (approximately 30 mm deep) in rigid concrete pavements/slabs of 150 mm thickness. The work includes thorough cleaning of joints with brushes and blowing/fanning with compressed air to remove all loose dirt, dust and foreign matter, followed by application of primer and refilling the joints with new sealing compound Grade ‘A’, including all materials, labour, tools, tackles and incidental charges ccomplete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Providing material and labour for marking on runway, heli-runway, roads, pavements, etc., such as lines, dashes, arrows, letters, figures and other traffic markings using hot applied retro-reflective thermoplastic road marking paint in approved colours (white, golden yellow, orange, black, etc. as directed), conforming to MORT&H Specification Clause 803.4, with 8% glass beads. The work shall be carried out using a special applicator machine with heating arrangement capable of heating material up to 160°C, including preparation of surface by cleaning and drying the existing road/pavement surface to ensure that it is free from dust, oil, grease and moisture before application of paint. The item includes all labour, materials, tools, tackles, machinery, handling, heating, application, finishing and all incidental charges complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Providing material and labour for preparation of existing old concrete floor surfaces of any description and in any position by brooming, wire brushing, and final cleaning with compressed air to make the surface completely dust free and providing and laying overall 3 mm thick antistatic EPU flooring system comprising of Primer coat, Screed coat, Copper tapes, Conductive coat, Self-levelling top coat application of epoxy polyurethane paint including all materials, labour, tools, tackles, surface preparation, and finishing complete, strictly as per manufacturer’s specifications and instructions complete in all respects and as directed. Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, kerb stones, built in cement mortar or cement-lime mortar, including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc., but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework, and precast concrete articles, complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Providing material and labour for brick work using sub-class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:6), including demolition of existing bricks or brick tiles in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons, etc. (each layer), bedded and pointed in any mortar. the item includes all materials, labour, scaffolding, tools, tackles, curing, raking out joints, finishing and all incidental charges complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Providing material and labour for 15 mm thick rendering/plastering in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of brick walls or concrete surfaces, including mixing of liquid waterproofing compound (WPC) in mortar @ 200 ml per 50 kg bag of cement, finished even and smooth without using extra cement including taking down existing cement or cement-lime plaster from brick walls or concrete surfaces, raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water and preparing the surface complete in all respects as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) The item includes all materials, labour, scaffolding, tools, tackles, curing, finishing and incidental charges complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Waterproofing compound (WPC) shall be measured and paid separately under “Supply Only”.

Material and labour for 15 mm thick plastering with ready-mix cement plaster on external surfaces of brick walls, chajjas, fins, or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair, and including taking down cement or cement lime plaster from brick wall etc including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc complete.

Supply only liquid waterproofing compound (WPC) conforming to relevant specifications, complete with all handling, loading, unloading and transportation, all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in first floor, ground floor, and paving of any thickness below or above floor level, of any description and in any position, including removal of debris/rubbish from the building and disposal in low-lying empty area (as per direction of AGE/JE) at any distance up to 500 metres from the site, complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) area not exceeding 1.50 sqm each and removing from site including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast as required complete all as specified and as directed.
