Disconnecting, taking out and removing old existing unserviceable underground, LT cable of any description and in any position complete including taking down unserviceable protection pipe etc all as specified and directed .

Supply, laying and testing of LT cable 1100 volt grade XLPE insulated underground electric cable PVC bedded and sheathed steel wire/strip armoured aluminum stranded conductor of size. (a) 16 Sq mm 4 core Make: Finolex/RPG(Asian)/RR Kabel/Universal/Grandlays.Havells

All as per item No.2 here-in-before but size of 35 Sqmm 3.5 core

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 mtr depth for laying cable and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance n. exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed as a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm complete all as specified and directed by Engr -in-charge.

M&L for Bricks with sub class ‘B’, old size, laid in trenches as in cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L sand cushioning 8cm below the cable and 15cm above the cable for cable protection as in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- After cushioning total thickness measured as 18 cm.

Supplying and fixing in replacement Galvanised mild steel pipe / tubing, light grade 50 mm dia complete with all fittings, laid in trenches / under roads, drain, paths, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed :- (Excavation & Earth work , Mild steel clamps, bolts , nuts and washers shall be measured and paid separately). Make: - QST, TATA, JINDAL.

Hiring of cable fault dedector, to dedect exact position of fault for XLPE LT cable, 1100 Volts grade heavy duty aluminium conductor of any size as required length including transporting charges etc. all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of LT panel with one coat of anti corrosive paint internally and externally & two coat synthetic enamel paint (Grey colour) after necessary prepration to surfaces & indicate location of outgoing supply with white paint etc inluding repair/ replacement of damaged front hinged opening, rubber lining, locking arrangement and making properly cable connections with lugs/thimbles complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out existing serviceable/ unserviceable XLPE cable and relaying/ rerouting of existing serviceable cable as reqd at site or as direction by Engr-in-charge.

Overhauling of each junction box of security light pole and making proper cable connection with thimbles/ lugs and checking of 3 phase supply at junction box complete all as directed. Note: Necessary nut bolts deemed to be included in quoted rates , and except these items shall be paid seprately as supply only here in after

Supply only Aluminium cable lugs / cable connectors of size 10 sqmm to 50 sqmm complete all as directed.

Supply only Aluminium cable lugs / cable connectors of size 70 sqmm to 240 sqmm complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing PVC cable gland of size 20 to 30 mm outer diameter suitable for 10 to 35 sqmm cable complete all as directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanised earths tripe 32 X 6 mm size by means of steel bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate no 5 of MES Schedule Part-I connected to earthing point and testing on completion with and including 15 mm bore light grade G.I. protection pipe (upto 7.5 metre beyond outer edge of earth pit) PCC pit in mix 1:3:6 type C1 with RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 40 mm thick cover reinforced with 6 mm dia M.S bars 3 nos both ways with lifting hook made out of 6 mm dia bar, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and 20 mm bore light grade G.I. watering pipe, common salt and charcoal filling, necessary excavation and earth work complete.
