Clearing the site: Cutting and clearing jule flora jungle with uprooting.

Earthwork excavation and depositing on bank with initial lead of 10 metres and initial lift 2.00m in hard stiff clay stiff black cotton, hard red earth, shales, Muram, gravel, stoney earth and earth mixed with small size boulders S.S. 20-B.(excluding timbering and bailing out sub-soil water) as per P.W.D. standard schedule of rates for Chennai City. The rate includes refilling with excavated soils (other than sand) complying with standard specifications for filling in foundations and basement

Carting away the surplus earth/debris to a lead of 16km including Loading, unloading and dumping in the Corporation Land as directed during execution.

Refilling with excavated earth in regular layers of 15cm thickeach including carefully ramming watering consolidating etc. complete for foundation and basement.

Supplying and filling in plinth with river sand complying with standard specification for filling in foundation and basement as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Plain cement concrete using 20mm ISS HSB metal including cost of metal and conveyance charges and including all labour charges and all other incidental charges etc complete as per standard specification 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 Coarse sand : 6 Graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

Providing and Laying in position, Standardised Concrete Mix M-25 grade in accordance with IS: 456-2000, using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 350kg/m3 and maximum water cement ratio of 0.5, including admixture (Plastciser / super plasticiser) in recommendedproportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5.0 cu.m) 7730kg of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 cu.m) 5156 kg of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m) 7670 kg. of sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing, etc., and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/ roof slabs wherever necessary without claiming extra, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS Standards. (No Separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of materials).

Supplying and erecting shuttering including necessary supports for plane surface in foundation and basement for RCC column footings, plinth beams, staircase steps, grade beams, sill slabs, etc., using mild steel sheets of size90cmx60cm and 10 gauge stiffened with mild steel angle of size 25mmx25mm x 3mm for boarding supported by silver oak joists of size 10x6.5cm etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

For plane surfaces such as rectangular or square RCC columns, sunshades, top and bottom slab of RCC boxing etc

Providing and installing Bored cast-in-situ Single Bulb reinforced cement Concrete Under Reamed Pile of specified diametre (300mm dia) and length (5.0m) below the pile cap in RMC M25 concrete to carry a safe working load not less than specified, excluding the cost of steel reinforcement but including Bentonite solution machinery charges labour chargres, including concreting by tremis pipe etc., all complete. (Length of pile for payment shall be measured from bottom pile to the bottom of pile cap).

Supplying fabrication and placing in position High Corrosive Resistance Marine (HCRM) Steel Fe 500 for all reinforced cement concrete works as per the design given including cost of steel, binding wire, etc. complete complying with standard specification.

Brick work in following Cement Mortar 1:4 using best quality chamber bicks of size 9" x 4-3/8" x 2-3/4" for superstructure including curing, etc., complete complying with standard specifiction.

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:3 (One Cement and three sand) 20mm thick with Water proofing compound @2% rate by weight of cement including neat finishing, curing, etc, complete in all floors complying with standard specification.

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5(One Cement and three sand) 12mm thick with Water proofing compound @2% rate by weight of cement including neat finishing, curing, etc, complete in all floors complying with standard specification.

Painting two coats with Apex exterior grade emulsion of first class quality paint and of approved colour over a priming coat, including thorough scrapping, clean removal of dirt, etc complete and including necessary plaster of paris, putty, wherever required

Supplying and fixing of Hollow section tube with 40x40x4mm for Vertical bar of 150mm centre to centre and Horizontal Top & Bottom Bar, 50x25x3mm for Horizontal stiffner 4nos.

Painting two coats with enamel paint of first class quality over iron work etc complete and including necessary plaster of paris, putty, wherever required.Painting area-(Vertical bar of 40x40x4 @ 150 c/c, 3 length , Horizontal bar of 50x50x5 for 1.8m height).

Making cravings / logo on the brick masonry as shown in the drawings and as instructed by the departmental officers etc complete.
