Comprehensive maintenance as per Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEMs) reccommendations for a period of twelve months for 20/25 HP capacity submersible pump sets installed at various locations through OEMs Authorised Service Centre Engineers or through OEMs Certified Agencies by overhauling/servicing cleaning thoroughly discharge/suction cases, impellers ,shaft and assembling pump carefully after replacement of suction strainer, 'O' ring, wearing ring, Bearing bush upper & lower, valve seat, valve ring, required quantity of impeller, machining works ( if any) including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of pump external surface complete with and including(a) Lifting of defective submersible pumping set of any make and capacity from bore well after providing lifting tools , chain pulley etc. as required carefully, by disconnecting/dismantling all electric connections, column pipes, steel ropes/chain and keeping them under safe custody for reuse all complete and (b) Lowering of repaired /overhauled/reminded submersible pumping set of any make and capacity inside bore wells after proper coupling of pump and motor , fixing old/new chain with clamp, connecting/refixing existing/new column pipe lines with new rubber gasket 3 mm thick, nuts, bolts & washers carefully with the help of chain pulley etc. & carefully re-connecting all electric/water lines and testing on load to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and directed. [Make: Calama/Kriloskar/CRI/KSB/Crompton Greaves] NOTE : (i) The cost of transportation of the defective submersible pumping sets( pump or motor ) from site to OEM workshop & back is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (ii) Column pipe//supporting chain required deemed to be included in Quoated rates (iii) Rewinding shall be measured separately (iv) refixing of column pipe to be done after proper descaling (iii) Repair of motor and pump measured separately however if any repair which is not catered in BOQ and it is necessary to making the pump functional shall be provided by contractor without any extra cost. (iv) refixing of column pipe to be done after proper descalin (v) Each maintenance job shall be covered period of 12 Months..(vi) All minor spares required for making the pump functional shall be provided by contractor without any extra cost.(vii) Breakdown Maintenance : The Authorised Service Engineer of OEM or OEM Certified Agencies will carry out all breakdown maintenance after receiving information (written or oral) from GE kalaikunda officials or their representatives.The OEM's authorised service representative or OEM certified agencies will carry out the required repairs of the units and appraise GE, Engineer-in-Charge and JE the status of the break down repair at site. No payment shall be made on account of any breakdown service to the machinary/equipments during comprehensive maintenence period. (viii) The Service Engineer will be called in case of any breakdown and the same shall be attended within 24 Hours of lodging of complaint, failing which a penal recovery of Rs.200.00 (Rupees Two Hundred Only) per day till such time the unit is attended and complaint is resolved,will be recovered from the outstanding dues to the Contract (vi) Cost of minor items like insulating tape,gland packing materials, metal washers, fibre/rubber washers, screws, small nuts & bolts and like shall be deemed to be inclusive of the quoated rate.

M & L for rewinding of burnt submersible motor 25/20 HP, 3 phase ,415 V, 50 Hz of any make through authorised services centre of OEM with water proof insulated copper conductor of the same specification as per old one after dismantling / cutting out burnt windings from stator assembly, cleaning slots properly complete with insulating slots packing, sleeves, papers & reassembling stator and rotor after replacement of worn out spares/matching works including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of motor external surface and water proof jointing for submersible cable 3 core, with replacement of oil seal, sand guard, bolt gasket, cable packing ring, circlip, bearing bush upper & lower etc. complete as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning and washing of inside portion of RCC OH reservoirs/Water tank of Capacity of Round/ Square type of Capacity 100000 gallons (including 02 chambers) up to 25 mtr height ,located in domestic area, with Anti-bacterial agent consisting of following process: - Dewatering the tank by mechanical means as directed, de-silting and removing of left over dirty water up to 100 to 150 mm in the bottom of the tank and sludge with special sludge pump, cleaning of walls and ceiling with special mechanized high pressure jet machines by rotary jet system at 100-120 Bar pressure (120 Kg /sq cm) which dislodges the layer of dirt, algae, fungus stuck on its surface usage of scrubbing machines for old stains and cleaning chemicals if required of make Eureka Forbes Ltd or equivalent as approved by GE, floor of the dirty tank should be thoroughly cleaned up by fry jet cleaner to accumulate all dirt ,the remaining sludge should than be removed by sludge pumps, the dirt silt and other foreign material should further be removed by Industrial Vacuum Cleaners to make the floor totally dirt free, application/spraying of Anti-Bacterial chemicals to ensure total sterilization of tank from the inside, inside of the tank should be treated with specially developed 4 ft long ultraviolet Radiator to kill further floating bacteria/virus in order to make the tank totally clean, bacteria free and safe for storage of drinking water. All the above operations should be executed by trained workers and technicians, properly dressed along with gum boots, to work as per the direction of Engineer in charge. and writing "Date of cleaning and Next due date of cleaning" on the column of tank at specified location with and including necessarry scalfolding and safety measure complete all as specified and directed.

(iii) All safety measures, safety belts, helments and other safety tools required at site for the trademens deployed for cleaning of tanks (under ground and over head RCC tanks) shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. (iv) Contractor has to clean the tank after tanking permission from Eng in Charge in one week advance. (v) Contractor shall use dewatering pump and industrial vaccume cleaner for cleaning of tank. (vi) Contractor shall deploy sufficient labour for cleaning the tank with stipulate time period of same day so that water supply from that tank would not be hampered. (vii) Contractor has to submit the photos of inside tank before cleaning and after cleaning to the Eng in Charge before claiming for payment. (viiii) Contractor shall provide ACP sheet of size 400 mm x 400 mm on each tank for writing date of cleaning of tank and next due date of cleaning on blue base with white colour. (IX) It is mandatory that contractor shall submit the insurance certificate minimum 10 Lakh sum assured of all staff/employee employed by him for the above mentioned works.

Materials and Labour for valve pit cover using brick masonry with fly ash brick valve chamber of internal size 1.5 M x1.5M x1.0 M with 23 cm thick wall in CM 1:6 including excavation if required, earth work in any strata & PCC 1:4:8 foundation type D-2, 75 mm thick including 20 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 in & plastering the internal surface with 10 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 if required & replacing old 3.15 mm MS sheet chamber cover double opening arrangement center lock system with 40x40x6mm angle iron frame duly painted with two coat of black bituminous paint over one coat of red oxide primer with and inluding demolition of existing complete all as directed by Engr in Chargre.

Cleaning the vegetation incl grass, bushes, small trees & all vegetation growth complete incl digging out roots of bushes around installation /sump/OH tanks/ valve chamber incl leveling the surface by removing debris to a distance n.exc 50 mtr all as directed.

Materials and Labour for, cast iron fittings for spigot and socketed cast iron pipes for water mains upto 150 mm bore,such as Bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, (straight, bend, increasing,decreasing or double socket etc.) Tee pieces single branch. "Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs, complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for,run lead joint for cast iron spigot and socket pipes and fittings for water mains ,200 mm bore, including burning out lead joints in position and including removing old lead from site, complete all as specified and directed. ( NOTE:- Earthwork shall be included in quoated rates)

Supply and fix in repair water level indicator made of aluminium base, marked with white Radium paint connected with steel wire rope 4 mm dia to counter weight showing level of water containing in tank including 8" dia brass float ball , and greasing of revolving pully of as per site requirement and fixed to pillar of water tank complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge Note : (i) All T&P required at site for fixing water level indicator on over head Tank at 18/21 mtr height shall be arranged by contractor and necessarry safety measure taken (ii) To remove the Bee Hives for fixing the guadge on water tank of height 18/21 mtr shall be contractor responsbility with any extra cost.

S&F in replacement of 4mm dia steel wire rope for water level indicator of various overhead tanks installed in AF station salua all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge.

Supply and fixing in repair Non return (Reflux valve) 150 mm dia , flap type ISI marked,as per IS 13095: 1991,both end flanged including fiber board gasket, bolts, nuts and washers for fixing the valve in position, or location as directed and specified by Engr-in-charge . Excavation in trenches in soft/loose or any type of soil n. exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr depth and getting out all excavated materials and forming bottom surface to required level gradient for laying of water tubing complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in soft/loose soil or any type of soil, including, spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soils to a distance not exceeding 50 Metres and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 M above the starting point complete all asspecified and directed.

Taking up or down of old galvanised steel water tubing medium grade in walls, floors or ceilings/trenches etc including all fitting cleaning of serviceable pipe and segregating for re-use and removing unserviceable pipes from site of work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Make: TATA/JINDAL or equivalent make as catered in PS Note: (i) Union or long screw have to provided at starting / end point of jointing pipe line . (ii) Contractor has to submit the test certificate and purchase voucher of pipes before claiming payment. (iii) Contractor shall provide MS/GI clamp for fixing the pipe on wall on every 10 cm without any extra cost.
