Repairs to delivery manifold of 550 rising main by way of dewatering the rising main. The job includes cutting of windows at two places in the delivery manifold using oxy-acetylene gas cutter; 12x18 inches window for putting the sand bags inside the pipe line for stopping the flow of water towards the leaked spots, 12x10 inch window for welding of the cracked portion of the delivery manifold from inside.The job includes cleaning of the leaked spots of the rising main from paint, rust and other foreign bodies and then welding of cracked/leaking spots inside as well as outside by arc welding using ADOR electrodes.The process is made continuous unless leaking spots are made leak proof. The job further includes welding back of already cut windows in two runs by using electric arc welding using ADORE electrodes, making it complete leakage proof. All the tools and tackles required for carrying out the work is to be arranged by the firm.After carrying out the work, testing of the delivery manifold for any leakage on full load is included in the job.
