Earthwork in open / Surface Excavation not exceeding 300mm in depth but exceeding 1.5m in width as well as 10 sq.m on plan in all types of soil, mixture of gravel and disintegrated rock, hard stiff clay including grading and levelling neatly by breaking clods, disposal of excavated earth upto 100m lead & lift upto 1.5m, (Disposed soil to be levelled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed) etc., all complete as per specifications.

Clearing light jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, removal of rubbish upto a distance of 100m outside the periphery of the area cleared, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Clearing heavy jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level, removal of rubbish upto a distance of 60m outside the periphery of the area cleared, cutting and stacking the useful fire wood if any within an initial lead of 100 mtrs etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Cutting and felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1m above ground level) including cutting of trunks, branches, removing the roots, stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within a lead of 200m including filling the pits and depression with excavated earth, etc., all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Beyond 300mm girth upto and including 600mm girth.

Providing and laying in position of plain cement concrete using hard granite broken stone for all insitu levelling courses in foundations, floor, roof screeding, encasing pipes, etc., including mechanical mixing, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, dewatering, if any including the cost of formwork etc., all complete as per specifications.

1 : 2 : 4 (1 cement : 2 sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

1 : 3 : 6 (1 cement : 3 sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 25mm nominal size)

Providing, erecting, placing in position and removing Formwork for all insitu concrete works at all lifts and all shapes such as circular works, chamfers, splays, etc., using Steel / Plywood shuttering including centering, scaffolding, strutting, propping with necessary bracing in all areas, fixing of EPs, cutting holes and fixing pipe sleeves, applying of approved form oil over surface in contact with concrete, de-shuttering after specified curing period, etc., all complete as per drawings and specifications. Note: Measurement for the formwork shall be the area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces. Stop boards for construction joints will not be measured separately for payment. Centering and shuttering where exceeding 3.5m height in one floor shall be measured and paid for separately.

For Plain Surfaces upto 3.5m height

Providing and casting insitu Reinforced Cement Concrete of the following grades of design mix by Weigh batching using machine crushed hard broken granite stone of nominal size 20mm including cost of admixtures in recommended proportion wherever required, mechanical mixing, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidation, curing, finishing smooth all exposed faces, for all insitu concrete items, etc., as per drawings and specifications. Note:- 1) The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement and formwork which will be paid for separately under relevant items. 2) The rate of concrete shall include the cost of admixture in recommended proportions as per IS 9103 as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 3) Cement proportion for Concrete Mix shall be on the basis of weigh batching only as per design mix. 4) The cost towards any upward / downward variation required to obtain the specified strength over the minimum cement content will be paid for or deducted at the rate specified in Schedule 'F'.

M 25 Grade Concrete (The Cement content considered is 350 Kg per Cu.m) - Upto FFL

Providing, cutting, bending, placing and binding steel reinforcement using TMT bars of Fe-500 / Fe-500D grade in all reinforced cement concrete works including cutting, bending, fixing, tieing in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire, cost of cover blocks in C.M 1:2, etc., complete as per specifications and drawings. Important Note: The required quantity of steel reinforcement as mentioned in the schedule should be procured by the contractor only of SAIL, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (VIZAG), TATA Steel & JINDAL from authorised dealers which shall conform to IS: 1786 (Latest Edition).

Providing, hosting and fixing in position of Precast reinforced cement concrete 1:1:5:3 , using hard broken stones of maximum size 20mm finished smooth of various sizes and patterns including necessary formwork and moulds, mechanical mixing , finishing the exposed surface, curing fixing at all levels, grouting with CM/cement grout wherever required, etc., all complete excluding cost of reinforcement which will be measured separately under relevant item as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying brick masonry in Cement Mortar 1:6 with well burnt chamber bricks / FALG Bricks of approved quality in all shapes and sizes including scaffolding, curing, raking out joints, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and constructing 110mm thick Compound wall in brickwork in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement: 4 Coarse sand) using well burnt chamber bricks of approved quality consisting of 110mm thick brick work, 230 x 230mm size brick pillars at every 3 meters intervals and at junctions, corners, etc., brick on edge layer at bottom and top as coping including scaffolding, curing, raking out joints, etc., all complete as per Specifications.

Providing and constructing 115mm thick Honey comb brick work for Compound wall using well burnt WIRE CUT BRICKS of approved quality in C.M 1:4 consisting of 110mm thick (Plus or Minus 5mm) brick work, 230 x 230mm size solid brick pillars at every 3 meters intervals at junctions, corners and wall top 230mm thick wirecut brick etc., brick on edge layer at bottom and top as coping including scaffolding, curing, raking out joints, pointing on wall exposed faces, etc., all complete as per specifications.

Removing the unconditioned MS gate (Single leaf) from the existing Brick/RCC pillars without damaging the gate and refixing the same by welding/hold fasts the gate to the EP plate available in the Brick work/RCC pillars etc., all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, fabricating and fixing Steel gate / Grill door / Balcony grills of required pattern and size comprising of MS square bars, MS flats, MS angles, etc., including cutting, bending, welding, fixing at door jamb / wall by embedding the holdfasts with CC 1:3:6 (or) providing and welding the hinges over EP's (or) fixing with anchor fasteners, plastering the damaged wall surface, finishing smooth to match with existing surface, painting the steel surface with 2 coats of metal coat PU finish paint of make MRF or other approved make over one coat of epoxy zinc phosphate primer with thinner 1110 Ep for epoxy primer and thinner for finish for metal coat paint as per manufacturer instructions, providing locking arrangements like aldrop, tower bolt, pad lock, etc., all complete as per specification. [Note: Rate shall be inclusive of lifting arrangement if any required, providing locking arrangements and fixing. Only weight of steel will be measured for payment purpose. Rate for EP's and anchor fasteners if any required will be paid for separately under relevant item.]

Providing and laying Indian Patent Stone flooring of 40mm thick with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement: 2 Coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat Cement using 20/10mm and below size hard broken stones including laying in panels, cement slurry, consolidation, curing, rubbing the surfaces smooth etc., all complete as per specification.

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5, 12mm thick for brickwork / Concrete on its external faces at all lifts including scaffolding, curing and forming grooves wherever necessary all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in­charge. [Note: 6mm premium glass fibre of make Dugar & Co or Recron shall be mixed with Cement @ 60 gms of glass fibre per 50kgs of cement]

Providing Rough cast plaster 19 mm thick consisting of 7 mm thick rough cast in C.M 1.3 using 6 mm and below size granite chips over 12 mm thick base coat of cement mortar 1:5 for the external faces including providing necessary grooves in plaster as per drawings scaffolding curing etc., complete all as per specification.

Providing Painting over all exposed surfaces at all heights over rough cast plaster/plain plaster with Two Coats of premium exterior emulsion paint of make Asian (APEX - Dust proof exterior emulsion) / Berger (Anti dustt weather coat) or other approved equivalent make of approved shade over a coat of exterior wall primer of make Asian / Berger or other approved equivalent make including preparation of surfaces, curing, scaffolding etc., all complete as per specifications.

Painting over Plain Plaster at all lifts.

Painting over Roughcast Plaster at all lifts.

Providing Terracotta Painting over Honey comb wall / Roof tiles / facia tiles at all heights One Coat of premium exterior emulsion paint of make Asian (APEX - Dust proof exterior emulsion) / Berger (Anti dustt weather coat) or other approved equivalent make of approved shade over a coat of exterior wall primer of make Asian / Berger or other approved equivalent make including preparation of surfaces, curing, scaffolding etc., all complete as per specifications.

Painting the existing doors, windows, and grills with one coat of Synthetic Enamel paint of Asian or other approved make and colour, shade at all lifts etc., including cost of all materials, scaffolding, labour, preparing the surfaces for receiving the paint by scraping, rubbing etc., as per specification.

Providing and fixing of 110mm dia Rigid PVC pipe and specials of approved make with ISI mark as per IS 4985:2000 for weep holes of drain, kerb wall. etc., including cutting holes of required size in kerb wall/drain wall, placing the pipe of required length, finishing the surface with cement mortar 1:3 finishing smooth with float coat of neat cement etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

110mm OD PVC pipe of class-3 (6Kg/Sq.cm)

Earthwork in open Excavation for Road work by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas in all types of soil, mixture of gravel, disintegrated rock, hard stiff clay, etc., including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, preparation and consolidation of sub-grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth, making good the undulations with earth and rerolling the sub-grade, disposal of surplus earth with in a lead upto 100 metres, etc., all completed as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying of Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) for Sub-base and base course conforming to clause 406 of MORT&H Specification for road and bridge works (Fifth Revision) using 53mm downgraded stone aggregate including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregate, premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver/motor grader in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, etc., all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge prefabricated cement concrete interlocking Solid / perforated paver block of M-30 grade made by table vibratory method using PU moulded with strong vibratory compaction of approved size, design, shape, laid in required colour and pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand including cost of sand filling, levelling with required slope, ramming the surface, watering, consolidation using vibratory earth rammers, filling the joints with sand, cleaning, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in­charge.

Providing and laying factory made precast Kerb stone of M-20 grade cement concrete of size 100mm thick & 500mm ± 50mm depth with suitable interlocking arrangement, top chamfering of size 50x70 mm or as approved size including excavation, conveying, laying the precast kerb blocks in position to the required line, level and curvature, making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), jointing / pointing the joints with cement mortar 1:3, refilling the sides, compacting, making drainage opening wherever required, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed. (Note: Length of finished Kerb edging shall be measured for payment and Precast kerb stone shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge.)

Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Laying old cement concrete interlocking paver blocks of any design/ shape laid in required line, level, curvature, colour and pattern over and including taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, removal of rubbish, providing 50 mm thick compacted bed of sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Old CC paver blocks shall be supplied by the Department free of cost)

Disposal of surplus excavated earth / Debris by collecting, loading, transporting by mechanical means and unloading them at places as shown by the Department within a lead specified below and levelling, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of rock from the corresponding stack / truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Exceeding 1 Km but not exceeding 2 Kms

Dismantling Plain cement concrete/Brick bat coba at all lifts including clearing and depositing the same with a distance of 100 metres as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling Brick work in cement mortar at all lifts including clearing and depositing the debris within a distance of 100 metres all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
