Removing of old water proofing treatment and cleaning the surface of slab and cleaning with wire brushes, removing dust, foreign material, rubbish off the site to a distance exceeding 500m complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab shall be carried out as specified below and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge .(a) M&L for 10mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:3 on concrete surfaces of roof slab and parapets mixed with and including WPC @ 3% by weight of cement finished even and smooth without using extra cement (b) The roof surface shall be thoroughly wire brushed, cleaned to eleminate all sharp projection washed dried up and cleaned of all foreign matter and dust to receive primer.(c) Applying bituminous primer on cleaned and dried surface @ 0.4 Lit/Sqm. (d) Laying APP polymer modified approved membrane, non woven, polyester, weighing not less than 3.6 Kg/Sqm with laps & overlaps as specified & joints sealed and applied complete by torch application method all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Carrying out test by flooding water for 24 hrs for leakage & seepages and rectifying the same to the entire satisfaction of GE.(e) Finally applying a coat of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.15 ltr/Sqm on the top of membrane surfaces complete all as specified & as directed by Engr in Charge.(f) The overlap while Torching shall be 100 mm on length side and 100 mm on width side of membrane.(g) The treatment shall be carried as per manufacturer instructions. Note:- The contractor shall furnish the following :- I) Quality confirmation from the manufacturer of the product alongwith quantity supplied.ii) Manufacturer test certificate.iii) The result if tested any of the independent laboratory, the testing charges shall however be borne by the Contractor.

Taking down chowkats or frames wooden/steel with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frame) not exceeding 1.5 Sqm each complete all as specifed and directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames wooden/steel with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frame) exceeding 1.5 Sqm but not exceeding 4 Sqm each complete all as specifed and directed.

M&L for scrapping and removing old paint, lease material and algae fungus then cleaning of surface with water using pressure washer machine, then crack filling with acrylic based textured crack filler and application of one coat of primero primer cum sealer having alkali resistance property diluted with water and mixed with bio block in ratio 5:4:1 followed by application of two coats of weather proof, anti fungle, anti algea acrylic emulsion paint of approved shade having silicon additives in paint which gives 5 year of performance warranty (Make as specified in Appendix 'C') complete all as specified & directed.

Material and labour for sunken flooring as per following details :-

(a) Special treatment to toilet floor by demolition of existing treatment of any description and thickness, removal rubbish outside MD land.

(b) Clean the sunken portion of toilet / Bath / WC / Kitchen throughly to remove laitance, dirt dust, etc.

(c) Form angle fillet of size 40mm x 40mm along the junction of wall and floor using polymer modified mortar ("Dr Fixit" Pidicrete URP" or equivalent Make as given in Appx 'C')

(d) Sanitary pipes entering through walls and floor shall be sealed with "Dr Fixit Bathseal Tape " or equivalent Make as given in Appx 'C' and the gaps to be grouted with non-shrink cementitous grout "Dr Fixit Bathseal Grout" or equivalent Make as given in Appx 'C' Nahani Traps, etc to be fitted securely and the gaps around it to be grouted in the same manner.

(e) Apply one coat of a Bitumen-modified polymer coating "Dr Fixit Bathseal Plus" or equivalent Make as given in Appx 'C' on all angle fillets by brush and cover it with 100mm open woven mesh when it is still wet. Apply second coat of the same coating on the angle fillets and allow it to dry completely.

(f) In the remaining area, in dry sustrate condition brush apply first coat of the same coating and further apply second coat when first coat is dry. Extend the coating upto 150mm above the FFL. Above FFL, another cementitious waterproofing coating "Dr Fixit Pidifin 2K" or equivalent Make as given in Appx 'C', can be further applied right upto 2.10 mm to water proof the shower area also, it is a bathroom or bath cubicles of a sanitary annes and apply second coat after 6-8 hours and allow to dry completely.

(g) After 2 to 3 days, sunken portion must be overlaid with a 50 mm thick concrete screed M-15 type B0 mixed with intergral WPC (Liquid) laid to be slope 1:60 towards outer face of wall. including provision of 40mm OD UPVC pipe at the lowest point with 300mm projection beyond the outer face of the wall. Then fill up the sunken portion with lean concrete 1:5:10 type E2 etc complete all as per manufacturers instruction and direction.

(h) After completion of plumbing work in the toilet/WC/Bath/Kitchen floor, tiling work(floor and dado) shall be carried out using suitable tile adhesive and ready to make tile grout of approved make . The cost of material required shall be deemed to inclusive in the quoted rate against this item and as per manufacturers instruction and direction.

Taking down carefully existing unserviceable aluminium/copper point wiring (light, fan, socket or power), complete (fitting such as switches, ceiling rose, pendent, regulators etc) removing material from site and making good disturbed surfaces of wall, floor etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
