Description of Work
Providing and fixing of Self-Supported Tower: 42 mtrs.
Providing and fixing of Self-Supported Tower: 51 mtrs for AGM Office
Erection, testing and commissioning of Earthing Electrodes.
Providing and fixing of maintenance free earthing electrodes, pipe in pipe technology, zinc coated with 76 mm dia outer pipe and 42 mm dia inner pipe with inner pipe space packed with crystalline conductive mixture, with end termination for connection to outside system.
Back filling compound to enhance soil conductivity @40 Kg per pit.
Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I. strip in 40 mm dia G.I. pipe from earth electrode including connection with G.I. nut, bolt, spring, washer excavation and refilling etc. as required. Remarks: The above work shall be done as per the drawing/specification uploaded with tender document. (i) Bidder should supply 45 mtr and 54 mtr respectively considering fade margins and optimization. No additional payment shall be made for increased height of tower. (ii) Bidder to submit preliminary detail drawing for installation of tower, detail of foundation, platform, cage, ladder and cable tray, etc. and final/architect approved drawing shall be submitted by the contractor before executing the work. (iii) All types of cutting/welding/fitment/mounting/bolting, transportation of all materials up to site will be in the scope of contractor. However SECL shall provide necessary vehicle for transportation of poles time to time within mines area, if required.
