Sub-Head :Earth Work

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m,as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

a) All kinds of soil

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5m, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

a) Ordinary rock

b) Hard rock (blasting prohibited)

Filling available excavated earth in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.

Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation /banking excavated or stacked materials.

a) Ordinary or hard rock.

Sub-Head : Concrete Work

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

a) 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand(zone-III) : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).

Sub-Head : Reinforced Cement Concrete

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

a) 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

a) Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete.

b) Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers.

c) Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete up to plinth level.

a) Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D or more.

Smooth finish of the exposed surface of RCC Work with 6 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand)

Sub-Head : Tower Works

Labour charges for orienting and fixing assembly of 8 nos -32 mm dia anchor bolts in each of the 4 legs /pedastals of tower with the help of template, base plate and other base arrangements . A total of 32 numbers anchor bolts shall be oriented and fixed for each tower as per drawings of Genetic requirements No GR TWR- 12/01 June 2005. Rate includes cost of necessary scaffolding arrangement etc all complete as directed by the Engineer -in-charge (Base plate and Anchor bolts will be supplied by the Department)

Sorting of 40M GSM Tower material from available mixed tower material in accordance with the standard BSNL NBLW/NBFL make Tower Drawing to complete material for one tower. including sorting of GI angles, channels, welded lugs, plates, ladders, nuts, bolts, hand rails, wave guide, segment components etc. from BSNL store at Dharapur as directed by the Engineer in charge. (Total weight upto 10 MT) 1.00

Transportation of tower material weighing upto 10 MT comprising of GI angles , channels, welded lugs, plates, ladders, nuts, bolts from CTSD store Dharapur, Guwahati BSNL store to site Wahkaliar village, E.ast Khasi Hills, Meghalaya including loading unloading and stacking as directed by the Engineer in charge lead upto 200 Km.

Hoisting, fixing and erection of 40 meter high tower like NBLW, NBFL weighing upto 10.00 MT as per approved drawing and design with all its necessary components which include antenna fixtures, carrier and fastenings, gantry, cable feeder rack, resting and working platforms with hand rails, wave guide rack, wave guide rack support, ladders etc., climbing ladder, platform with railing and fixing with galvanized bolts, nuts and spring washers, necessary welding, etc wherever required complete in all respect as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Rate includes cost of all operations involved in hoisting and erection of tower including hire and labour charges of tools, plants and machineries, insurance premium of labours, etc and nothing extra will be paid. The contractor has to supply insurance coverage certificate of workers.) (The weight of Tower material weighed on weigh bridge before erection shall be considered for payment.)

Supplying of missing TOWER material of Galvanised Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in build upsectioons, trusses and framed work, including cutting, with Galvanized steel sections consisting of Angles, Flats, Plates and tubes fabricated as per approved drawing. The galvanizing shall be as per IS: 4759 with average mass of zinc coating of 610 gm/sqm (approximately 85 micron). The steel sections shall be of M.S.grade 'A' as per IS: 2062. Cost of galvanization is inclusive. The payment shall be made as per the standard structural steel tables for the bare steel sectional weights. All complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Supplying hot dipped Galvanised (Galvanising shall not be less than 85 micron) nuts and bolts of required size and of grade 5.6 and as per IS 12427 including spring & plain washers of required thickness all complete as per direction of the Engineer In Charge.

Painting with high gloss synthetic enamel paint of approved make Shalimar, Burger or Asian paints in two or more coats over and including base primer of Zinc chromate. The colour of painting shall be of International white and Orange. The Painting should be done in accordance with IS 1477 Part-I&II. Priming coat of zinc chromate shall confirm to IS 104 Note: Rate includes painting of tower , platform, antenna mount, ladder, vertical tray, horizontal tray, post, all members etc Note: Necessary arrangements shall be made for safety belts, helmets, and insurance cover for the labourers & nothing extra shall be payable on any account.

Sub-Head : Antisabotage Works

Making antisabotage measures to the tower stem comprising the followings :

a) Exposed portion of all stems shall be covered with polythene sheet after greasing the nuts and bolts head

(b) Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundations and plinth in :

(i) Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

( c ) Supplying and filling in plinth with river sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete

(d) Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

(i) 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand(zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size
