Application: The system shall be used for the quantitative estimation of toxic trace metals, nutrients (both micro and macro) and mineral composition in fertilizers and Agri & food commodities as per national and international standards/regulatory requirements.

1 Fully automated and integrated type PC-controlled double-beam multi-element Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer for flame and graphite furnace with absorption & emission capability with deuterium & Zeeman background correction system

2 Optics: Optical Double beam system, fully sealed against dust, fumes and vapors. Automatic wavelength and slit selection with automatic peaking

3 Monochromator: Czerny-Turner/Littrow/ Echelle design or equivalent with 250mm or better focal length with holographic diffraction grating

4 Grating: Diffraction grating with dual blazed and ruling density of 1800 lines/mm. Reciprocal Linear Dispersion (RLD) shall be 1.6 nm/mm

5 Wavelength Range: 190–900 nm or wider

8 Background Correction: Dual Background correction with AC Zeeman for Graphite furnace and deuterium for flame operation

9 Lamp Holder: Automatic Lamp Holder (At least 8 lamp turret) with computer-controlled lamp selection, alignment and Automatic energy optimization using coded lamps. Built-in power supply for minimum 2 Special lamps.

10 Accessory Adjustment: Fully computer-controlled for all major accessories including Burner heads, Autosampler, FIAS (Flow Injection Analysis System) or equivalent technique, under software control.

16 Coded Hollow Cathode Lamps: Single element coded hollow cathode lamps for the elements namely; Lead, cadmium, zinc, arsenic, copper, Barium, mercury, nickel, Iron, Manganese, Silver, Selenium, Chromium, Aluminum, Antimony, Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, tin and Magnesium. Special lamps used for the analysis of volatile elements like As, Hg, Se. (e.g. Boosted HCL’s Ultra Lamps, Super Lamps, Electrode Less Discharge Lamps, etc.)

17 Flame System: The flames should be supported by titanium burner which can handle high solids with excellent flame stability and low carbon built-up. The burner height should be automatically adjustable and controls should be provided to adjust the burner rotation and transverse position. Automatic flame ignition should be provided. Flame systems should be controlled by fully automatic binary flow control system. System should have the provision of all safety interlock during power failure.

18 Graphite Furnace with Autosampler: Controlled through data station software with temperature programme; ambient to 2600°C or better with minimum 10 programmes. The system should have the provision for rapid cooling of graphite furnace. Autosampler should have injection volume up to 70µl. Autosampler should have the provision to accommodate 50 or more samples.

19 Vapour/Hydride Generation: Fully automated computer-controlled Vapour/Hydride Generation system for determination of hydride forming elements at ppb level.

20 Recirculating Water Chiller: For cooling of graphite furnace and controlled through software.

21 Air Compressor: Noiseless, Oil free scroll type air compressor with air filter for moisture and dust.

27 Operating Manual: Soft & hard copy along with trouble shooting solutions to be provided.

29 System should be quoted with all accessories required to make it fully operational.

30 Pre Installation Requirements (PIR) Provide PIR of the system as per the format given in tender document.
