SCHEDULE 'A'

Supply and lay cable HT, XLPE insulated screended PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 11000 volts grade (earthed cable) with stranded aluminium conductor of size 185 sqmm 3 core all as directed.

All as per Item No 2 here-in-before but 150 sqmm 3 core.

All as per Item No 2 here-in-before but 120 sqmm 3 core.

All as per Item No 2 here-in-before but 95 sqmm 3 core.

All as per Item No 2 here-in-before but 70 sqmm 3 core.

Supply and fixing/laying in replacement 100 mm bore, steel tubings galvanised, light grade with all fittings fixing along the electric laing in trench or pole / wall for protection of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing/laying in replacement 80 mm bore, steel tubings galvanised, light grade with all fittings fixing along the electric laing in trench or pole / wall for protection of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exc. 1.5 metre wide and not exc. 1.5 metre in depth and getting out for taking up / laying under ground electric cable or for pole etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Mechanical excavation is not allowed in this Stn only manual excavation allowed.

Returning and filling in two parts (i) using riddled soil obtain from excavated soil upto depth of 30 cm (8 cm below cable and remaining above cable) for cushioning of cable and (ii) refilling the trench of remaining depth with normal excavated soil all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavated soil shall be riddled by using sieve to separate composite partricles etc as per IS 1255 1983 and refilling in trenches as in cable cushioning.

Removing surplus soils to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point all complete as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying Bricks, sub class 'B' old size bricks, laid flat dry with width of the bricks laid to the axis of the cable all complete as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 with 20 mm graded aggregate as in, coping and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in foundation for stay set / Pole / feeder pillar lean concrete etc including fair finish even and fair to exposed surfaces without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and erecting steel tubular pole complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, nuts and screw as specified, type 410 SP-31, 9 Metre long including two coats of aluminium paint (PCC and earthwork in foundation shall be measured and paid under respective item separately) including dismantling of existing unserviceable pole including demolition of PCC work complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and erecting steel tubular pole complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, nuts and screw as specified, type 410 SP-55, 11 Metre long including two coats of aluminium paint (PCC and earthwork in foundation shall be measured and paid under respective item separately) including dismantling of existing unserviceable pole including demolition of PCC work complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F for cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as directed inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer after and including dismantling old unserviceable cross arm etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F solid aluminium conductor of any size fixing and jointing on poles including, binding wires, jointing sleeves, aluminium tap and PG clamp etc after and including taking out old unserviceable ACSR complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for under ground high tension cable fault finding for exact location by using LT fault locating equipment and trace out the fault complete all as specified and directed Note :- The rate quoted by the contractor shall include the rate for earth work and necessary T&P etc.

Material and labour for painting to existing surfaces of HT/LT 11 mtr long steel tubular poles with 2 coats of aluminium paint over the existing surface including brackets clamps junction boxes etc including writing of pole number and painting to HT insulator RYB etc all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour Air break switch (GOD) Gang Operated Device horizontal / vertical type, tripple pole, mechanically operated, mounted on nine FRP insulators and steel frame, with operating mechanism worked from ground level, with operating rod 25mm dia light grade GI pipe, suitabel for current rating upto 200 Amps, HT 11 KV including taking out old unserviceable one and connecting up complete with locking arrangement all as directed .

Material and labour litening arrestors expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class discharge capacity 65 kilo amps suitable for 11000 volts complete all as specified and as directed by Engr In Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement Horn gap type Fuse unit 11000 Volts grade mounted on FRP insulators and steel frame, single pole, fixed on DP structure all specified and as directed.

Mateial and labour pin type, FRP insulator including one galvonised mild steel spindle, two galvonised iron washers and one galvonised iron nut, 150mm height, 150mm dia suitable for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and as directed by Engr In Charge.

Dehydration including filtration of transformer oil on different locations by dehydration plant including testing of samples before and after dehydration and fiteration complete all as specified and directed the dielectric strength to be achieved 60 KV at 4 mm gap after complete dehydration.

M&L for cleaning of complete body of transformer of capacity 315/250/200 KVA and painting with two coat dark BS Gray painting & R, Y, B, Black, Green colour coding to insulators complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for filling in with new transformer oil for top up having low viscosity of approved make as per IS 355 of 1992 and di-electric strength 60 KV(after filtration) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down old and UNSV transformer any capacity at different locations in the area of responsibility falls under GE (AF) Thanjavur from two pole strcture/ foundation including disconnecting the LT/HT connection and shifting to workshop and getting back after repair and refixing the same at original location and connecting electrically and commissioning complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Replacement of burnt defective HT/LT copper coil of different type capcity winding with superior qulity enamelled copper winding wire/strips of approved of suitable size/guage and Nos of turns maching with the existing impendence and insulated including all allied materials such as cork sheets, fiver glass insulation/paper insulation cotton, empire tape and wooden, bolts, nuts and washer (Brass) soldering and other packing material etc required for entire winding of coils all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-Charge.

M&L Replacement of HT bushing porcelain, vitreous with brass spindle, threaded with washers nuts, lock nut and rubber seal suitable for transformer of any make /type/capacity in repairs all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L Replacement of LT bushing porcelain, vitreous with brass spindle, threaded with washers nuts, lock nut and rubber seal suitable for transformer of any make /type/capacity in repairs all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
