Providing and fixing of expansion joint system related with floor location as per drawings and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The joints system will be of extruded aluminum base members, self aligning / self centering arrangement and support plates etc. as per ASTM B221-02. The system shall be such that it provides floor to floor /floor to wall expansion control system for various vertical localtion in load application areas that accommodates multi directional seismic movement without stress to it's components. System shall consist of metal profiles with a universal aluminum base member designed to accommodate various project conditions and finish floor treatments. Ponding test to be done after plugging all outlets and to be checked from soffit to identify seepage leakage. After three days of drying the 2nd coat , the rain water outlets to be plugged and ponding test to be done for 48 hours to identify seepage, leakage from soffit and if found necessary rectification to be done as per satisfaction of E/C. Product Performance - Chemical Base Part A: Acrylic copolymer, Part B: Specially graded cementitious powder - Density 1.6 kg/I (mixed density) at +27°C Tensile Strength -2 Nimm2 after 28 days (with Fibre cloth) (According to ASTM D 2370) Pullout Bond Siren th -2 f\l/mm2 concrete failure Accordin' to ISO4624) Slant-Shear Bond Strength -4 Nimm2 (According to FIP 5.15) Elongation at Break -35% Without Fibre Cloth and 20% with Fibre Cloth (According to ASTM D 2370) (d) )Protection of treated surface with PCG :- The treated surface should be covered with 25mm/50mm F'CC of M-20 grade (1.1.5:3). with proper slope ( 1:120) towards the rain outlets in alternate panels of 2 mt x 2 mt keeping 6 rnm gap between the panel joint. Integral water proofing admixture conforming to IS 2645 co of 100 ml per bag of of cement to be added in the screed concreie(paid separately.for this items).All corners shall be chamfered with 150mm X 150 mm fillet.
