Intermediate Dry Dock repair of AB Dhawalgiri for the year 2026-2027

Beaching, blocking, unblocking including dock hire/mooring charges as required to complete the repair works.

Ultrasonic testing to be done of hull, deck plate, Roof & LWL ship side plate, etc for checking of thickness as per direction of Surveyor / EIC.

Main deck plating found corroded at various locations. Renewal of affected plating to be caried out, main deck railing found damage in various locations etc to be rectified and also Cropping & renewal of underwater & superstructure plates including main deck, Roof area, guard rail, deck plate, Ship side plate, other fitments after Ultrasonic testing & Inspection report as required as per direction of EIC/ Surveyor.

Under water hull plate & side plate to be scraped & chipped & wire brushed from keel to LWL to remove fouling and old paints. Painting of hull plate & side plate to be done by two coats of exisiting colour marine grade paint after application of one coat of zinc chromate primer as per painting scheme from keel to water level as per direction of Surveyor/EIC.

The entire ship from LWL to main deck, deck plate, bathroom, galley, anchors, anchor chains, anchor compartment, engine room, store rooms, fresh water tanks 2 nos. (15 KL), seawage tanks, seawater tanks, all void spaces etc, are to be proper cleaned, scrapped, wire brushed, chipped and painted by 3 coats of existing colour marine paint. (1 coat zinc chromate primer, followed by two coats of existing colour of marine paints). All pipe lines should be coloured as per marine colour code. After it name of vessel, dept. logo, all door's lock opening and closing indication mark to be made by fluorescent sticker as required as per direction of EIC/ Surveyor.

All Sea chest, Mud Box, Stainer, sea water valves to be checked, repaired and also Engine room piping system ( F.O, Bilge, fresh water & sea main ) including valves & fittings found leakage at various locations same to be serviced all OBD valves, sea water/ Bilge/GS line valves to be overhauled pressure tested, painted and pipe line to be operationally tested as required as per direction of EIC / surveyor.

Engine room found with oily bilges / dirty water / soft mud and Cleaning and painting of bilge to be done with one coat primer and 2 coats of marine quality paints as per direction of EIC/Surveyor.

MSB & Shore connection control panel illumination lights non-functional same to be rectified and all other electrical system /equipments such as fans, lights in al accomodation area, engine room are to be checked and rectified the defects as required as per direction of EIC.
