Sign face - 3mm thick Aluminium sheet fabrication with a whiteretroreflective film, fixed to horizontal structural truss. Graphics in plotter RAL 5013 exterior grade opaque vinyl pasted over whiteretroreflective vinyl.

Sign Frame - Providing and fixing sign frame (Horizontal Spanning truss) in M.S. square section hot dipped galvanized as per drawing. Frame to be directly fixed to the sign structure. Frame to receive the sign faces.

Sign structure - MS square post 300x300 and mounting square sections, hot dipped galvanized and PU Painted to match RAL 9006 grouted in ground. Spanning truss shall be designed for each mounting square section span and the wind loads.

The actual structural design of the sign for its stability shall be responsibility of the contractor and shall be designed with due consultation and approval from structural designer.

Foundation - Providing and laying foundation for the sign including its compaction and all activities like Excavation, PCC base layer, providing and fixing in position electrical connection wherever applicable and finished as per drawing. Vehicular Directional Sign - Pole Mounted

Signs placed on internal roads of Airport to help align and manage vehicular traffic. The sign is flag-mounted on a pole, with the sign bottom being 2800 mm above the floor level. The panel is designed as per the graphic layout standards specified.

Sign structure - MS square post 125x125 and mounting square sections 75x75mm, hot dipped galvanized and PU Painted to match RAL 9006 grouted in ground. Secret fixing methods should be used to fix parts together.

Suspender - Stainless steel Hollow section 100mm OD mounted on slabs/beams/ walls. Providing and fixing suspension for the signs using Stainless steel Hollow section 100mm OD (assuming typical length of 15 ft.), cut, fabricated as per drawing and provided with connectors plates for mounting with holes and entire assembly finished in brush finish as approved by the Engineer -in- charge. Suspender shall be made to required lengths for each sign for its location after studying the site and ensuring a perfectly aligned and leveled sign installation. Sign similar to design drawing 1.8 Providing & fixing of LED illuminated sign board of size 11500 mm length x 1220 mm height fixed on MS square pipe structure of 40x40x2.5 MM thick having 75mm wide aluminum extruded profiles.

Channel letter shall be made with fully automised CNC bending machine with white traslucent 040, 5mm thick Acrylic sheet in front and 3mm thick ACP sheet tray on rear side. Letter fixed on ACP sheet of 3mm thick of approved colour on background as shown in the drawing with suitable illumination and clear night visibility. The dimension of all letter should have equal height of 600 mm in tri lingual Assam, Hindi, English " DIBRUGARH AIRPORT" along with AAI logo as per drawing.

Emergency Signs- Photoluminiscent Signs

These signs glow in dark in case of no light in case of power failure. 2.6b-5 & 6 shall be printed with all arrows directions and placed on walls along the escape route.

All signs are screen printinted using artworks provided and with photoluminiscent material as per technical specifications. Screen printing shall be done on self adhesive vinyl and pasted on 2mm thick powder coated white aluminium plate and and fixed at location using screws. At locations with available flat and non-porus surfaces, the printed vinyl can be applied directly.
