Dismantling and removing damaged/broken valve chamber brick masonry PCC coping, Pits of valve chambers and removing from site to a distance exc 50 mtr but not exc. 100 mtr all as directed

M&L for valve chamber of size 1500mmx 1000mmx1000mm (Internal) with brick masonry 230 mm thick in CM 1:6, PCC 1:4:8 type, D2 foundation 75 mm thick, finished fair and even, PCC 1:2:4 type, B1 coping 150 mm thick on top of brick wall for fixing chamber cover, 10 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 plaster on exposed surfaces of brick wall (both internal and external), mild steel plate cover of 3.15mm including mild steel angle iron 40x40x6 mm size frame fixed to PCC coping with the same size of angle iron hold fast and with necessary handle and locking arrangements, metal surfaces duly painted with black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and finishing the masonry/concrete surfaces with 3 coats of white wash including necessary excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of bio-degradable bee-hives wild growths from the structure tank and member of the overhead reservoir complete including wild bees with suitable application of fuming smoke or chemical fog application and applying a cost of alergent for keeping away or return of bee-hives (All the bee-hives on the tank shall be removed and cleaned) Note : The removal of bee-hives shall be carried out with total precautions so that wild bees do not get the time and facility to attack the public in the locality.

Excavation of trenches/pits (in any type of soil) n exc 6 mtr in length 2.5 Mtr wide and upto 2.5 mtr in depth with manually and getting out the leakage water by using diesel engine pump set/motor/manually for complete de watering from the tranches and repairing leakages in pipe line/NRV/Air Release valves in position for repairing the area/trench for jointing/repairing the leakages of any sizes upto 300mm bore of pipe with mechanical joint including returning filling in trenches all as directed.

Taking up or down (from wall/trench/floor) existing steel tubing and connections including cleaning with iron rod and wire brush for refixing or remove to MES store of following sizes: -

Note: (a) Cost including excavation, returning, refilling (b) In case of any leakage on the same joint contractor will be rectified without any financial effect with in six months.

Excavation in trench not exceeding 1.5 Mtr in depth and not exceeding 1.5 Mtr in width and getting out in soft/loose soil.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms by using excavated soil.

Removing surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at level not 1.5 m above starting point.

Note:- The amount against the Schedule of Credit mentioned in the tender document shall be deducted from the total amount quoted against Sch 'A' while deriving the Contract Sum for Acceptance.
