MOTOR DRIVEN FIRE FIGHTING PUMPS: 'Design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Motor driven Centrifugal Horizontal split case Pump Set for fire fighting system with a flow capacity of 2850 LPM and total head of 100 m, with CI casing, standard fittings, bronze impeller, along with all accessories. Ref. Sr No.4 of Technical specification

DIESEL ENGINE DRIVEN MAIN FF PUMPS: Design, supply, installation, testing & of commissioning of Diesel Engine driven Centrifugal horizontal split case Pump Set for fire fighting system with a flow capacity of 2850 LPM and total head of 100 m, with CI casing, standard fittings, bronze impeller, mechanical seal, along with all accessories, suitably rated water cooled Deisel Engine with radiator and fan, having aprox. speed of 1500 rpm, along with starting batteries, including supply of MS common base plate frame etc. Ref. Sr No.5 of Technical specification

JOCKEY PUMP: Design, Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Motor driven Centrifugal horizontal split case / End suction Jockey Pump Set for fire fighting system with a flow capacity of 180 lpm and total head of 100 m, with CI casing, standard fittings, bronze impeller, along with all accessories. Ref. Sr No.6 of Technical specification

AIR CUSHION TANK: Design, Supply and erection of air cushion tank (material IS 2062/2002) with air release valve/PRV, GM drain valve, GM gate valve, provision for pressure switches, pressure guages etc. inside the pump house including making inlet and outlet connection with 32 mm GI/MS pipe of required length from discharge header to air cushion tank, fixing properly and securing the same to the base etc. complete in all respect. Ref. Sr No.7 of Technical specification. The tank shall be hydraulically tested at 30 Kg/sq.cm. at manufacturers premises. Note : Pressure switches & pressure gauge shall be measured and paid separately.

C.I. GATE / SLUICE VALVES: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of double flanged CI Gate (sluice) Valves of following sizes of ratings PN 1.6 with non rising stem conforming to IS-14846 with all necessary fittings like carbon steel flanges & elbos conferming to ASTM A 234, EPDM rubber gaskets, nut bolts, hardware, flange joint etc. as shown in the drawingsand as per specifications and as directed by E-I-C. The valves should be with ISI mark and tested at factory at a pressure of 24 kg/sq.cm.Ref. Sr No.8 of Technical specification

Dual plate non-return valve: Supply, installation, testing including predespatch inspection of flange end dual plate non-return valves of appropriate rating with chrome plated MS nut-bolts confirming to IS:1367, 5mm thick EPDM gasket, flange conferming to ASTM A234 and fastners including removing the existing non-return valves from the delivery lines of the pumps. 'Y' Strainer: Supply, installation and testing of 'Y' strainer (1.6 PN) of following sizes made out of cast iron, with perforated brass filter fixed, in position, to flange or pipe with nut bolts, gaskets, washers etc. in an apporved manner, complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of E-I-C.

CARBON STEEL SEAMLESS PIPES: SITC of carbon steerl pipe, elbows, Tee, flnage, eccentric/concentric reducer to connect pump nozzles & pipe of size 50NB/150NB at suction side and delivery side, reducer of size 150X300 mm to connect common delivery of pump with existing under ground network, fabrication of suction & delivery with installation of sluice valve/NRV/flow meter. Carbon steel pipe shall conform ASTM A 106, Grade B, schedule 40 and testing at site at a pressure of 15 kg/sq.cm for 120 mins. duration after laying at site, as shown in the drawings, with all fittings, SORF flanges ASTM A 234, Elbow confirming to ASTM 234 jointing, M.S. supports (PCC Support for piping shall be paid separately) and painting with two coats of anti corrosion paints over two coats of red oxide primer (for laying above ground) and including providing wrapping & coating as per specifications in laying underground, including all the hardware, complete in all respects of work, all as per drawings, specifications and instructions of E-I-C. All pipes should have ISI mark. Ref the Sr No.10 of Technical Specification. Note : Making of flanged joints including providing nut bolts, EPDM gaskets shall be considered in the scope of the bidder.

Transportation of 150NB carbon steel pipe from the store(1.5 KM away), cutting as required, fabrication of bypass/recycle line, connection from main header to the under ground tank with installation of isolation valve and testing. Scope includes two coat of red PO paint over two coat of primer for above ground pipe and four mm thick wrapping-coating on uder ground pipe. Note- pipe shall be provided by the department at free of cost and required fittings(Tee/Elbow/Reducer confirming to ASTM A234) shall be supply by agency.

PRESSURE GAUGES: Providing & fixing pressure gauges with dial of 100 mm dia size and range 0 to 14 kg/sq.cm and complete in all respects with shut off gauge, cocks , all fittings etc, duly calibrated before installation in MKS and FPS units and fixing the same wherever required and duly tested after installation as directed by E-I-C.

PRESSURE SWITCHES: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of suitable Pressure switches with isolation valve on air cushion tank, with a range of 0 -15 Kg/sqcm with low & high set points conforming to relevant IS, specifications, complete in all respects as required & as per instructions of E-I-C.

Support to suction /delivery pipe: Structural steel work at all levels using Angles, channels, chequered plates, pipes etc. of suitable sizes including anchor fasteners wherever necessary including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding,erecting and fixing in position including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade & make over a coat of approved steel primer etc. complete all as per drawing, specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

RCC FOUNDATIONS FOR PUMPS : Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-30 infoundation, plinth & 'superstructure for all type of Structural/ RCC elements conforming to 'IS456-2000 , IS 3370 (latest) and IS 13290-2002using 20mm. 'maximum size down graded stoneaggregate including necessary 'shuttering, machine mixing, conveying,placing in position, mechanical 'consolidation,finishing, curing etc. complete as perspecifications and 'drawings for the followingetc. complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note-for reinforced cement concrete. a) Cement for structural works shall be OPC/PPC ISI marked and duly approved by the Engineer-in-charge b) PPC/blended cement of ISI marked shall only be used for finishing works on priorapproval of Engineer-in-charge c) All 'RCC work shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings and specifications. d)The rates for RCC works shall be exclusiveof cost of reinforcement and form work unless otherwise mentioned e) All coarse 'aggregate to be of 20mm.maximum size & uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned. f) The minimum cement content for water tank shall not be less than 330 kg/cum andnot more than 400 kg/cum. g) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include the following without any 'extra cost tothe Department :i) Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipebends, hooks, puddle flange,other pipe specials and embeded parts etc. supplied by /through the dept.ii) Cut outs, nitshes, pockets, constructionjoints etc. h)Test for Concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000 and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor

For all type of structural / RCC elements with all geometrical shapes

DRAWING AND DESIGN: 'Preparing to the scale auto-cad drawing of existing pump house and prmises showing pumps, foundation block, water tank, pipe lines, diesel tank, air cushion tank, valves etc. including new pumping system before taking up the work and submitting hard copies as well as soft copies as per the instruction of EIC.

PCC WORKS: Cement concrete of specified grades at all locations & depths for the following works using graded stone aggregate of 20mm maximum size including necessary form work, machine mixing, transporting, placing in position consolidation,finishing, curing etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by theEngineer in Charge. Note:Nominal reinforcement if provided shall be measured & paid under relevant item.

PCC of grade M15 in sub base flooring, foundation, pedestals, cable pits, cable trenches, plinth protection etc.

Part - B: Rebate on pump motor set: Rebate for old dismantled existing material like old motor/pumps/valves/fittings taking out these dismantled materials from Anushaktinagar premises including loading, unloading, stacking levelling if required transporting & labours at site etc. complete directed by the EIC. Note: The amount for this Part - B rebate item will be substracted from Part - A to arrive the total amount quoted in General Abstract.
