REPAIR / MAINT OF VCB HT PANELS TRANSFORMER AND OTHER CONNECTED E/M WORKS UNDER GE (AF) ADM AREA, AGRA AT AF STN AGRA

Taking out Transformer from its Position from any location under AF Stn Agra/4area for repair /servicing/ rewinding of capacity 63 KVA to 200 KVA , 11/ 0.433 Volts disconnecting /opening HV, LV Electrical connections, earthing connections complete all as specified and directed along with following other works :- (a) Transportation of transformer to civil workshop at Agra and back to site by making necessary arrangements of T&P (crane, recovery, vehicle, tripoid to be arranged by firm as required at site. (b) Opening of transformer top cover by extraction ,removing of serviceable - unserviceable nuts bolts and washers etc. (c) Draining out of transformer oil and keeping in safe custody for reuse (d) Lifting primary coil (HT) and secondary coil (LT) , dismantaling of transformer complete part by part carefully. (e) Refilling topping up of transformer oil after dehyderation and filteration in transformer. (f) Reassembeling the transformer complete with all existing serviceable parts, and new parts as ordered . (g) Reinstall the Transformer at site in position as directed after repair connecting HV, LV electrical connections, earthing connections and testing to entire satisfaction on load Note :-(a) Replacement of userviceable parts like; Bush insulator, brass studs, cork gasket, breather assembly, tap changer, rewinding , reinsulation of Primary and secondary coil with copper winding wire, dehyderation and filteration of transformer oil etc shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate Item of schedule. (b) Renewal of adequate size Nut, bolts & washers of transformer top cover shall deemed to be included in uit rate quoted. (c) Transformer shall be got repaired from on authrised service centre / dealer of OEM as approved by GE.

Draining out complete transformer oil from the transformer & storing the same in suitable containers ( to be arranged by contractor without any extra cost ) , opening the top cover and lifting up the core assembly carefully to check the condition of transformer windings and core, retanking the same after repairing , checking of leakage from transformer body and repairing/welding works required for making transformer body leak proof, refilling the transformer oil dully dehydrated and filtered (dehydration and filteration to be paid separately) & making all connections with HT/LT side bushings , refixing the top cover , and testing the transformer with a suitable capacity insulation tester complete all as directed for transformer capacity up to750 KVA.

M & L for rewinding of burnt out /defective HT coils with new super enamelled heavy duty copper winding wires of size matching to the existing one including varnishing, drying in a suitable oven and all insulating material such as cotton/glass sleeves,tapes etc and connections with bushing terminals complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for rewinding of burnt out /defective LT coils with new super enamelled heavy duty copper winding wires of size matching to the existing one including varnishing, drying in a suitable oven and all insulating material such as cotton sleeves, tapes etc and connections bushing terminals complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for reinsulation of LT coil of transformer of any capacity using proper size paper insulation material to form DPC Copper wire and insulation material suitable for HT 11 KV transformer complete all as specified and directed. Note : Item shall be measured only where re-insulation of copper wire is required.

M & L for replacement of HT tap changer as per exsting, of suitable size with tapping arrangement one normal tapping including connecting up with HT coil and testing for transformer capacity up to 200 KVA complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item No 8 above but for capacity 250 to 400 KVA.

M & L for replacement of defective HT porcelain bushing of suitable size for transformer upto 200 KVA including washers of good quality complete all as specified & directed.

M&L as in replacement of superior quality silica jel inside the breather assembly and fixing properly with transformer complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for disconnecting from the transformer/panel board, cutting off worn out aluminium cable end, supply and fixing of new aluminium cable lugs , connecting the cable with transfrormer/panel including insulation tapes etc complete all as specified & directed for 95 sqmm to 150 sqmm sizes of HT/LT cables.

All as above per item No 24 above but size 185 sqmm to 400 sqmm .

Dehydration and filteration of transformer oil for indoor/outdoor type transformers of any capacity, at site using transformer oil filteration plant to improve di-electric strength not less than 45 KV at 2.5 mm electrode gap complete all as directed. Note :- Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the charges for hiring of oil filteration plant, shifting to different locations at cantt area, testing of samples of oil as per requirement & nothing extra will be paid on this account.

S & F new transformer oil for replacement or topping up the level of oil having dielectric strength not less than 45 complete all as specified & directed. Make -:POWER/ INSOLE/ UNIVERSAL conforming to relevent IS-335 (Transformer oil to be supplied in sealed container).

M & L for preparation of external portion of indoor/outdoor type transformers tank /conservator /radiator/valves etc for repainting by removing old paint/oily patches by scrubbing and cleaning dust free, painting with two coats of superior quality synthetic enamelled paint of approved shade complete including cleaning name plate/insulators/conservator level indicator paint free & incl writing of MES /SM No with white paint after painting complete complete all as directed for capacity up to 200 KVA. Note:- The painting of transformer shall be carried out in situ ie. on four pole/two pole structures or kept on foundation or kept inside sub station at different places at cantt area.

All as per item No 28 here in before but for capacity from 250 KVA to 400 KVA.

Shifting of transformer of any type and any capaqcity up to 750 KVA, using hydra/crane etc of suitable size from existing pole structure/plinth/store yard/from inside of a sub stn bldg and fixing on another pole structure/plinth/sotre yard/sub stn bldg including necessary connections of earthings and on HT and LT side complete all as specified & directed.

S & F in repairs clear view type breather of suitable size for transformer capacity upto 250 KVA complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item No 32 here in before but for capacity 300 KVA to 750 KVA

S & F in repairs transformer oil temperature gauge 0 -120 degree analogue dial type complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for rectifying and arresting the oil leakage of transformer of any type (indoor/outdoor) and capacity up to 315 KVA installed inside sub stn bldg or on open foundation or on four pole/two pole structure , disconnection of cables of HT & LT ends , opening the top cover by using tripod/chain and pulley after removing all fitments, replacing the worn out gaskets, "O" rings, etc and rectify the leaks in a variety of areas such as top cover, radiator joints, flanges, valves, conservator, oil leakage through pin hole / crack joint , drain valve / radiator valve ,HT/LT bushes, oil leakages through any gasket joints. Applying putty/M-Seal etc where ever necessary. Refixing the top cover and all fitments, refixing cablesat HT & LT ends and testing for proper working complete all as directed. NOTE : (i) Contractor shall be provide necessary tripod, chain & pulley, T&P, etc and the rent shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Cost of all type of gasket, "O" rings, putty/M-Seal Monoplast, lugs, nut bolt, double washers, etc shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

All as per item No 35 here in before but transformer capacity 400 to 750 KVA

Cutting wild grass,bushes shrubs etc and cleaning of area/yard of sub station buildings complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge

M & L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60x60cmx6 mm thick burried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part-I 1991 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated and testing on completion as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, funnel, PCC chamber (1 : 3 : 6) type C1, CI pit cover and frame , charcol, salt including earth lead protected by 40 mm dia medium grade GI pipe and 20mm dia medium grade GI Pipe for watering complete. Note :- Earth lead strip 32 x 6 mm and GI 40 mm dia protecion pipe upto 7.5 mtr length will be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted.

S & F in replacement lightening arrestors expulsion type 33 KV grade complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp complete all as directed.

M & L in repairs pin type insulator porcelain, vitreous white/brown including one galvanised MS spindle nut and two GI washers of size 150mm height, 150mm dia for 11000 volts complete all as directed.

M & L for shifting of standby trolley mounted transformer of capacity 500 KVA including HT / LT cable from one location to another location inside the cantt area by using toeing vehicle and crane if necessary. Connecting the HT / LT cable of the trolley mounted transformer with the existing system connecting the transformer with body and neutral earth with existing earth lead and testing for proper working all as directed. Note : (i) Rent of toeing vehicle, labour used, tools used etc shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Contractor shall take care of transformer while shifting, any damage occured during the progress of the work while shifting will be rectified by the contractor at his own cost.

Material and labour for repairing/maintenance/servicing of HT 11 KV VCB along with CTs/PTs of capacity upto 1250 A of any make and type by drawing out breaker from panel and carry out the following works complete all as specified :- (a) Disconnecting power supply and tripping off the breaker and racking out the breaker trolley complete from the panel for servicing/inspection/overhauling. (b) General cleaning of the breaker trolley and cabin using soft cloth, CRC solution, hot air blower etc to remove all dust, carbon deposits, sparking patches etc complete. (c) Servicing/Inspecting/checking of automatic safety shutter operation for serviceability and adjusting for proper operation. (d) Checking of fixed contacts and current carrying parts of the breaker trolley, insulated assembly and checking lamination with clamps, epoxy spout, isolator assembly etc.

Contd of item No 42 (e) Cleaning/decarbonizing of all fixed and moving contacts, levers, springs, etc with soft emery paper , CRC solution and soft dry cloth to remove all carbon deposits and tightening all screws, nuts, bolts, spring etc and incl applying superior quality petrolium jelly on all contacts. (f) Checking of safety/tripping relays, wiring circuits, repairing burnt out/overheated cable ends by making new end joints ,control fuses including interlocking if any. (g) Checking, setting and adjustment of rack in/rack out , spring charging system and operation of the breaker trolley. (h) Lubrication and greasing of breaker operating mechanism , all moving parts of the trolley, stopper bolt for proper operating and closing of shutter gear etc. (j) Checking of all end terminals, tightening of all earth connections, tightening all hardware, rack-in the breaker, put in position, engage the VCB with the supply system and testing for smooth functioning. Notes: (i) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for necessary T&P, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket, insulation tape etc. and testing and commissioning all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Servicing/maintenance of VCBs shall be carried out by experienced technicians of auhtorised service centre/agency/any firm having experience of doing such jobs ,as approved by Engr-in-charge.

Servicing/maintenance of ring main unit (RMU) 3/5 way 11 KV of any make , by disconnecting the power supply, visual inspection , general cleaning of the unit using blower/soft cloth, cleaning of all the contacts/bus bars etc with CRC solution and fine emery paper and removing all carbon deposits due to flashings, applying superior quality petrolium jelly on all contacts, checking and tightening all hardwares, , checking all components/insulators/studs, adjusting male/female bushings in proper spacing, checking suitability and correct operation of protections, control instruments and electrical connections of the circuit breaker operating mechanism , verification of wiring circuits, lubricating all moving parts, checking/raparing and properly adjustment of opearting system, checking operation of functional locks, interlocks, signalling devices and auxiliary devices, measurement of the resistance of the main circuit , checking for any gas leakage , making all HT supply connections and testing for proper working complete all as directed.

S and F in replacement voltage transformer ratio 11 KV/110 volts confirming to IS-3156 1992, 50 Hz, class B insulation with primary voltage 11 KV/RT3 and secondary voltage 110 V/RT3, 50 VA, class 1.0 3P, type phase to earth complete incl making all connections complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs relay provided on HT 11 KV SF-6 RMU panels for incoming and outgoing feeders for healthy tripping for over current and earth fault self powered numerical protection relay and testing for proper working comlete all as specified and directed. Make :- ASHIDA type ADR141S or equivalent of Siemens/ABB.Schneider.

Disconnecting and taking out protection relays/trip relays of any make and any type from HT panel boards , cleaning all the contacts properly, calibrating the relays by conducting secondary injection tests, checking of current transformers, checking the complete wiring circuits and rectification of defects in control wiring for proper tripping of circuit breakers through CTs and relays, reinstallation of relay into the system, making all connections, testing & commissioning complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs feeder protection IDMT relay (MC-61) with features tripping, 3 phase over current and earth fault tripping suitable for working on as per existing, flush mounting, suitable for 11 KV HT panel for feeder protection system. Make:- L&T/ABB/Siemens/Schneider.

M & L chequred HT rubber mat for electrical purpose ISI marked of size 1 mtr X 2 mtr and 19 mm thickness all as specified and as directed.
