REPAIRS / MAINTENANCE TO WATER PROOFING TREATEMENT OF RCC ROOFS/CHAJJAS CONNECTED PLUMBING FITTING AND CERTAIN MISC MAINT WORK IN ZONE A AREA OF AGE B/R-I (C) UNDER GE(CENTRAL) KHADKI.

NOTE FOR PLUMBING AND SANITARY ITEMS:- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of plumbing and sanitary wares materials required / covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis. (iii) make specified in BOQ will supersede to all.

Removing old tar felt, all loose dirt, old roof tiles, cement plaster cleaning the concrete surface including removal & cleaning of vegetation, fungus, moss small trees etc from the roof top with wire brush, removing the strips of lightening conductor including refixing the same after roof tratement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE :- Rate for refixing of lightening conductor deemed to be included

Material and labour providing 50mm thick cement mortar (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone agg) as in roof padding required to maintain desired slope complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (12.5mm graded stone agg) as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling Single or double layer Mangalore pattern or similar tiles on ridge/roofing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix roof tiles, Mangalore Pattern, inter locking at side joints laid dry complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per item No 7 above but (except) Mangalore tiles complete all as specifed and as directed. NOTE :- Material shall be used from dismantling

Supply and fix ridge or hip tiles to suit Mangalore Pattern of roofing tiles bedded and jointed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per item No 9 above but (except) Mangalore tiles complete all as specifed and as directed. NOTE :- Material shall be used from dismantling

Dismantling of plain or corrugated sheeting any gauge thickness including Nainital or similar pattern as in roof covering complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of Asbestos cement (corrugated, semicorrugated, etc.) sheets in roof coverings/wall cladding etc complete all as specifed and as directed.

Supply and fix 0.63mm thickness Galvanised, corrugated mild steel sheeting with two corrugations side lap, fixed with L-type or J-type or cranked hook bolts and washers, in roofs, walls etc. with grade of zinc coating 275 etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix plain, galvanised mild steel sheeting, in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashing (length and girth as fixed) by using 1.00mm thick sheet grade of zinc coating @120 Gms/Sqm both sides and welded or soldered joints are provided complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complate all as specifed and as directed.

Supply and fix 6mm thick asbestos cement, corrugated or semi-corrugated sheets in roofs, walls etc. Fixed with coach screws complate all as specifed and as directed.

Supply and fix second class hard wood clean sawn battens at 30 cm centre to centre and sectional area exceeding 15 and not exceeding 25 Sqcm including dismantling Battens for tiles, singles etc of any size including tiling fillets spaced exc.15 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix second class hard wood plain fillets, rails, rafters, purlins, square, rectangular in section clean sawn secured with nails brads exc 13 sqcm but n exc 25 sqcm including dismantling timber scantlings in fillets, rails, posts, rafters, purlins etc under 40 sq. cm in section (Unframed work) in any position complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantaling timber in scantling 40 sq.cm and over in section in any position and any description unframed work or framed work complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix timber work second class hard wood clean sawn in scantlings, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix second class hard wood 20mm thick, Boarding in roofs, ceilings, partitions, fascia barge, soffits (except flooring and skirting) planned one side, and similar work including dismantling complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specifed and as directed.

Supply and fix roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc conforming to Fe 410 -W (Gde-E- 250) quality-A etc complete all as specifed and as directed.

Supply and fix preparation surfaces of wood and wood based material, new or old of any description and girth and treated with two coats of creosote complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified.

Supply and fix 2-3mm thick fibre glass reinforced translucent corrugated sheeting with additional reinforcement of chicken mesh with two corrugation side lap fixed with 'L' or 'J' type or cranked hook bolts including dismantling of existing any type of sheeting complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix gypsum reinforced boards 595x595x8 to 10mm thick for ceiling on Hot dipped Galvanised iron imposed grid with 24mm wide T-section exposed flanges which shall be powder coated white. The frame work shall comprise of main runner made from 0.33mm thick GS sheet and of size 24x32x3000mm and spaced at 1200mm centers securely fixed to the structural soffits by approved hangers at 1200mm maximum centers. Hangers of GI wire 4mm dia to be fixed by approved rawl plug, level and justers and screws etc. The last hanger at the end of each main runner shall not be greater than 450mm from adjacent wall. Flush fitting of 1200mm long cross tee (with double stitching) to be interlocked between main runners at 600mm center to form 1200x600mm modules cross tee longer than 600mm to be supported independently. 600x600mm modules to be formed by fitting 600mm long cross Tee centrally between the 1200mm cross tee. Tee, Perimeter wall angle shall be of 0.45mm thick GS sheet of size 19x19mm and 300mm long of white colour all as per manufacture instruction including taking down old/existing ceiling boards of any type (fibre, pulp insulation etc) or insulation boards any thickness incl fillets complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix E-board 'Everest' make 600x600x4mm thick white prelaminated sett embosed reinforced designer ceiling board tiles of approved texture at all height laid on Hot dipped Galvanised iron imposed grid with 24mm wide T-section exposed flanges which shall be powder coated white. The frame work shall comprise of main runner made from 0.33mm thick GS sheet and of size 24x32x3000mm and spaced at 1200mm centers securely fixed to the structural soffits by approved hangers at 1200mm maximum centers. Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlars facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete specifed and as directed.

M & L Brick work with fly ash old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 in any position, complete all as specifed and as directed.

Material and labour 15mm thick Rendering on brick /concrete or dubbed surface in CM 1:4 finishing even & smooth without using extra cement and similar like etc complete all as specifed and as directed.

Material and labour 15mm thick Rendering on brick /concrete or dubbed surface in CM 1:4 with water profing compound finishing even & smooth without using extra cement and similar like at any height including necessary scaffolding , ladder & formwork including taking down cement plaster, raking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water and removing the debris outside defence land complete all as specifed and as directed. NOTE :- water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separetely

Material and labour 15mm thick Rendering on brick /concrete or dubbed surface in CM 1:6 with water profing compound finishing even & smooth without using extra cement and similar like at any height including necessary scaffolding, ladder & formwork including taking down cement plaster, raking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water and removing the debris outside defence land complete all as specifed and as directed. NOTE :- water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separetely

Supply only integral water proofing compound.

Material and labour preparation of new plastered wall surface and applying two coat of oil bond distemper emulsion white or tined over one coat of Chalk whiting, on plastered surfaces, preparatory on wall complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour preparing new plastered surface of walls and applying two coat of cement base paint at any height including necessary scaffolding ladder etc complete all as specifed and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair Rotational moulded polythylene water storage tanks 1000 liters capacity (three layered), ISI marked cylindrical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 20mm bore for inlet and outlet, 20mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specifed in SSR Part I complete all as specifed and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair Rotational moulded polythylene water storage tanks 500 liters capacity (three layered), ISI marked cylindrical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 20mm bore for inlet and outlet, 20mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specifed in SSR Part I complete all as specifed and as directed.

Supply and fix angle cock, 15mm dia, cast copper alloy, chromium plated, fancy type with crutch or butterfly handle screw down, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for brass ferrule all as per Prayag Cat No 8310 or techno commercially equivalent makes specified in PS fixed in repair complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 15mm bore tubes, 'medium grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed complete to wall and ceiling or laid in floors including necessary cutting chasing into wall/concealed including taking down old steel tubing etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 20mm bore tubes, 'medium grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed complete to wall and ceiling or laid in floors including necessary cutting chasing into wall/concelled including taking down old steel tubing etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour disconnecting of existing PVC tank of capacity Exc 250 Ltr & n. exc 500 Ltrs for cleaning including setting aside temporarily and refixing later in same position for water supply to enable water proofing treatement of roof slab beneath the tank in following laid down process all as specifed and directed. (a) Dewatering & removing all settled slit,scale & dust from inside from tanks using coconut brush manually and applying bleaching powder and allowed to rest 1 hour. (b) Cleaning & rinsing the tank using fresh water to wash out complete and allowed to dry for 30 mins. (c) Writing letters of 7 cm height using synthetic enamel paint (white colour) to mention date of cleaning incl rubbing out old letters written over the tank. (d) Re-fixing the tank with fitting as required in same position or raised/lower height after cleaning of water (as may necessary) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair for 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed , in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors or fixed on wall etc complete all as specifed and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair for 110mm bore PVC (SWR) bends, branch piece or similar fitting are required to make the system functional complete all as specifed and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair for 110mm bore PVC (SWR) junction single, (Single T), equal or unequal fitting as reqd to make the system functional complete all as specifed and as directed.

Material and labour rendering 10mm thick on concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:3 finishing even and smooth without using extra cement to RCC ceiling, chhajjas, roof projection, facia, fins, parapet etc. and similar likes upto height 10 mtr including necessary scaffolding, ladder, formwork and including taking down cement/lime plaster of any description including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removing the debris outside the defence land complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour preparation of new plastered surfaces of ceiling, chhajjas, roof projection, facia, fins, parapet etc and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specifed and as directed.
