GE I R AND D/CHD-70/2026-27 REPAIR AND PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE TO EOT/HOT CRANES, CONTROL PANEL AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEM AT TECHNICAL AREA OF TBRL RANGE RAMGARH

Material & labour for load testing and provide certification from authorised crane inspector all as specified for the EOT crane 3 ton capacity by dead weight at site, to be carried out 110% of rated capacity, Test load and slings for conducting the full load and 10% over load test shall be arranged by the contractor at site. Note :- i) Dead load shall be arranged by the contractor on his own arrangement and no extra payment shall be made by the department. ii) Tools and tackles shall be provided by the contractor at site for testing purpose without any extra cost to department. iii) Rates quoted against this item shall also deemed to be inclusive for shifting/transporting the load from place to place and unloading which will be arranged by the contractor including required ropes, manpower etc for handling the load required for load testing.

All as per item No 1.00 above but 2 ton capacity.

All as per item No 1.00 above but 5 ton capacity.

All as per item No 1.00 above but 10 ton capacity.

All as per item No 1.00 above but 15 ton capacity.

All as per item No 1.00 above but 25 ton capacity.

Material and Labour for periodic inspection/servicing, to be carried out in every three months, and making/keeping the cranes serviceable, for cranes of 2 Ton/ 3 Ton/ 5 Ton / 10 Ton / 15 Ton / 25 Ton capacity installed in various bldgs, including the following:- (i) LONG TRAVEL MOTION AND CROSS TRAVEL MOTION (a) Checking Gear box oil level and filling with required oil and rectification of leakages if any.(Note: Gear Oil shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates) (b) Brake adjustment (c) Checking of Long travel & cross travel wheel for any noise/malfunctioning. (d) Checking grease of Geared couplings, nut tightening and replacement of grease nipple. (e) Checking of oil in Hydraulic thruster brake, rectification of leakages if any and filling with required quantity of oil.(Note: Brake Oil shall be measured and paid separately as supply only rates) (f) Checking of electric motor connections, insulation resistance value etc. (g) Checking the cut-off at extreme ends with the limit switch. (h) Checking and greasing of shaft pedestal.

(ii) HOIST MOTION (a) Checking Gear box oil level and filling with required oil and rectification of leakages if any.(Note: Gear Oil shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates) (b) Brake adjustment (c) Checking of main bearings of the Rope Drum including greasing the same (d) Checking grease of Geared couplings and nut tightening. (e) Checking of oil in Hydraulic thruster brake, rectification of leakages if any and filling with required quantity of oil.(Note: Brake Oil shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates) (f) Checking of electric motor connections, insulation resistance value. (g) Checking wire rope for any damage & greasing the rope. (h) Adjustment of the rotary limit switch. (j) Checking of Bearing of the Hook and greasing the same. (iii) ELECTRICAL PANEL (a) Checking the contactors for overheating or flashing. (b) General checking of contacts and connections. (c) Cleaning of control panels and checking of connections. (d) Checking of connections of VVVF drives/other drive, calibrating VVVF drive to get smooth movement & maximum efficiency / other drives for smooth functioning of the same.

Dismantling of existing reduction gear box with device for hoist/CT/LT motion traverse for carrying out replacement of following unserviceable Parts / Carrying out misc repair and refixing the gear box after checking alignment of brake drum & motor and motor & gearbox , in existing position, complete all as specified and directed:- (a)Replacing the worn out shaft seals & bearing (b) Replacement of internal cover gasket, (c) Replacement of Gear coupling with nuts & bolts complete.

Taking down unserviceable Motor/ Break thruster assembly (incl flame proof) of capacity upto 2 HP at elevated height and transporting to civil workshop, dismantling, rewinding the defective flameproof squirrel cage induction motor of single/three phase, any make of any duty or any class of insulation, removing burnt out winding from stator/rotor/Break thruster assembly, rewinding with suitable gauge of super enameled copper wire of approved make and replacing insulation materials, varnishing with approved make, heating on electric oven till to get required insulation resistance value,replacing terminal block, re-assembling, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed.
