Providing and fixing vitrified tiles of size 600 x 600mm of approved make in flooring laid in any pattern as specified over base of 20mm thick cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 and jointed with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade to tiles. Note:- Tile shall be of premium quality (first quality) of reputed manufacturer like NITCO, KAJARIA, SOMANI, ORIENT, RAK & JOHNSON. (HSR 14.89)

Providing & fixing vitrified tiles of size 600mm x 600mm of approved make in skirting/dados laid in any pattern as specified over base of 12mm thick cement coarse sand mortor 1:3 and jointed with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade to tiles. Note:- Tile shall be of premium quality (first quality) of reputed manufacturer like: NITCO, KAJARIA, SOMANI, ORIENT, RAK & JOHNSON. (Double charged tiles shall be used as approved by Engineer in charge. (HSR 14.90).

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles confirming to I.S. 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manu-facture) of approved make in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 coarse and jointed with grey cement slurry, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shades complete. b) Size of ceramic Glazed tiles 300x450mm (14.92 b)

15mm thick cement plaster 1:4 on the rough side of single or half brick wall. (HSR 15.10)

10 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 under side of ceiling (HSR 15.51)

Preparation of ply wood surface for painting inlcuding sand papering the surface and applying filling with approved quality filler consisting of white lead, linseed oil, varnish and chalk mitti including finishing the surface to required finish complete. Painting on wooden surfaces etc. (Note:- First quality paint/primer of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). Painting two coats excluding priming coat with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new wood work or metallic or plastered or concrete surfaces to give an even shade. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.3).

Applying priming coat with metal primer on new steel or iron work including preparation of surface. Painting on mettalic Surfaces etc. (Note:- First quality paint/primer of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.9).

Painting two coats excluding priming coat with ready mixed paint for matelic sufraces in all shades on new steel or iron work. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.17).

Preparation of plastered or concrete surfaces for painting, including sand papering the surface, applying one coat of linseed oil and filling with approved quality filler, consisting of white lead, linseed oil, varnish and chalk mitti including finishing surface to the required finish, complete. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.24)

Painting two coats with ready mixed emulsion paint in all shades for interior use on bricks, plaster, cement, fibre board etc. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.27)

Painting lines, dashes, arrows, etc. on roads, air fields like in two coats with ready mixed road making paint brushing, including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter, demarcation at site and traffic control involved. a) over 10 cm in width (white and yellow spirit based paints). (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). [HSR 16.78 a]

Providing two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). [HSR 16.79 (b)].

Providing and applying two coats white cement based putty over plastered surface and grindling the surface smooth with sand paper to get an even and smooth finish including cost and carriage of all material, labour charges, scaffolding, sundries etc. complete. (Note:- reputed make Putty such as J.K./ Birla shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.81).

Cost of iron fittings, complete for doors and windows,such as tower bolts,handles,etc., and screws for these fittings (excluding sliding bolt) [HSR 17.71 ] a) for single leaf shutter

Providing and fixing 150 mm floor brass door stoppers, with rubber cushion, screws, etc., to suit shutter thickness complete. [HSR 17.75]

Providing and fixing helical door spring 150mm (superior quality) including necessary screws ,etc., complete ( b ) iron [HSR 17.79 ( b ) ]

Factory manufactured wire gauze door and window shutters of commercial hard wood, such as hollocks, champ, chikrassy and chaplash, etc., (non-coniferous timber other than teak, conforming to I.S. specification No. 1003, kiln seasoned), with 100 mm wide vetical styles, 150 mm wide lock rail, 200 mm wide bottom rail and wire gauze of 140G or 120G designation including cost of iron hinges, screws, chocks/cleats,stops, nails etc., complete fixed in position (execluding the cost of any fittings, other than specified above but including labour for fixing the same in position) [HSR 17.92 (ii) (-)Note (i) under item No. 17.18] ii) 35 mm thick.

Steel work in hip and jack rafters, common rafters, purlins etc., with angle iron cleats and other connecting plates. [HSR 18.2]

Steel reinforcement TMT bars FE-500 FQR /FE-500 D grade or more for RCC work, where no included in the complete rate of RCC including straightening, bending vinding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. and placing in position complete in all respects for all heights/depths/storeys/basements etc. (HSR 18.22)

Pressed steel sheet frames (chowkats ), consisting of 2mm thick steel sheet of the specified section,including iron lugs(hold fasts) iron hinges conforming to P.W.D. specifications, including bolts for fixing stops, locknotch, provision for receiving tower bolts, and finished with one coat of ready mixed paint red lead non-setting primer, of approved quality, fixed in position including the cost of cement concrete 1:3:6 for fillings in the frame, and cement concrete 1:3:6 for lugs complete (HSR 18.34) a) Door and Window frame of size 89 mm x 50 mm with 40 mm wide single rebate

Providing & fixing 2mm thick PVC Sheet for shed with complete fitting from cover including angle, nut, bolts, paints, pipe excavation of earth work, concrete for foundation etc. complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. ( N.S)

Providing and laying 150 mm thick granular sub base consisting of drainage cum filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - III of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer in writing.

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Dismantiling of bricks and Removing of Door and windows in the DNIT. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material after approval from employer. This material will be issued at the price quoted by the agency. However the reserve price is as under:- i) Good Tiles @ 5/- Each

ii) Brick Bats @ 500/- cum

iii) Door @ 800/- Each

iv) Windows @ 500/- Each

v) Ventilator @ 300/- Each Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this building. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Note:- 1. In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR Items of Civil, P.H. work depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. 2. Only reputed make material will be used (make/brand exhibited in HSR and exhibited in approved standard document) as approved by Engineer-in-charge, while executing various items/works at site.
