Amount

Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by all means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil ,ordinary rock ,soft rock ,hard rock chiseling/wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines, grades, width, cutting and trimming of side slopes and levels as shown on the drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site, according to the MORD technical specification section 302,1603.1 and 1603.2 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same within all leads and lifts in acquired road width of the road and transportation of un-useful materials for filling in roadways camber ,embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials to required width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and hauling /carriage of machineries ,materials, tools ,equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stones to the tune of 18738.79 cubic metre Eighteen thousand seven hundred thirty eight decimal seven ninen cubic metre ) quantity at the rate of Rupees 300/- only (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractor,s running bills actually excuted at site on pro-rata basis for the quantity of cutting in earth work executed . Any loss to the public/ private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases, including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts. Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300 mm (Three hundred millimetre) below the subgrade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for subgrade construction as per M.O.R.D.Technical Specification Clause 303 in all leads, lifts and other incidental complete in all respect including hauling /carriage of materials to various location through all modes of transportation in and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.The rate is including royality, Malkana,Tol tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and M.O.R.D.technical specification section 300 and 1600 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, filling of unevenness blind age and finishing the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion, bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the whole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.The rate is including royality, Malkana,Tol tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling with granular material behind abutments, wing walls, return walls complete as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specification clause 1203 and section 1604 , as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge including hauling /carriage of materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads, lifts and other incidental complete in all respect. Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material mixing in a mechanical mix plant and carriage of mixed material to site of work in all leads and layers in uniform layers with motor grader and compacting with smooth wheel 80-100( eighty -hundred) KN static roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per M.O.R.D. Technical specifications clause 401 for grading -I material, as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge within all leads, lifts and other incidental .The rate is including royality, Malkana,Tol tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing, laying, spreading by mechanical means and compacting to 75mm (seventy five millimetre) compacted thickness, graded, broken / crushed stone aggregate, for grading-II, 63mm to 45 mm (sixty three millimetre to forty five millimetre) nominal size to water bound Macadam, specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 (eighty - hundred) KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening of size 11.2 mm (eleven point two millimetre) nominal size at the rate of 0.20 cum (zero point twenty cubic metre) per ten square metre and binding material at the rate of 0.06 cum ( zero point zero six cubic metre ) to fill up the interstoces of coarse aggregate , watering and compacting to the required density as per MORD technical specifications clause 405 or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with logo as per M.O.R.D. specification and drawing . Three MS plates of 1.6 mm ( one point six millimeter) thick top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mmx5mm ( twenty five millimeters into five millimeters) size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm (twenty five millimeter into twenty five millimetre into five millimeter). The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 Nos.
