Attending complaint for petty repair to leaking water in bib tap, pillar tap, stop cock, angle valve, flushing cistern, WHB, Sink, wall mixer etc. of any description any size by changing the washers(s)jumper(s) etc, by adjusting/replacing the washer(s) and adjustment of lever required for making the flushing cistern functional, by tighting the leaking waste pipe of WHB/Sink and providing 'M' seal to stop leakage as required. Removal of air lock/blockage of water in GI water tubing and cleaning the pipe or fittings etc. including replacement of major defective item if required complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes :- 1. The contractor shall make all arrangement for attending the different types of complaints of IHQ MoD (Army) Area on day to day basis. Any major item required to be replaced with new one, to make the system functional shall be measured and paid for separately as "M&L" under respective item of this schedule. Contractor has to provide adequate numbers of plumber including all necessary T&P on all working days from 9AM to 5PM. Additional workers can be engaged if nature of work required to be completed within fix time frame as desired by the GE. Rate shall be quoted accordingly against these items, keeping in mind above said provisions.Any major item required to be replaced with new one, to make the system functional shall be measured and paid for seprately as 'Suppiy Only' under respective applicable item of this schedule. Old retrived item(s) as considered in 'Schedule of Credit' shall become property of the contractor 2. Proper records (date wise) of complaints received & rectified by the contractor and attendance register of trademen shall be maintained and shall be produced for verification at the time of payment of each RAR/Bill.

(c) Laying 3mm thick APP polymeric water proofing membrane of weight not less than 3.6 kg/sqm, black finish reinforced with non woven polyster matt, (weight not less than 160 gm/Sqm) with a thermo fusible finish, torching overlaps with a propane or a butane gas torch, with a overlap of 75mm at sides and 100mm at the ends and sealing including applying a coat of cold emulsion bituminous primer all as per manufacturer's instruction including preparation of surface.

(d) Make of APP: "Moply FP" manufactured by STP Texsa Ltd or Hyper Plas (Polyester) manufactured by M/S IWL Ltd or "Shaliplas"ter) manufactured by M/S Capital Steels and Chemical Pvt Ltd or Makpolyplast manufactured by M/S M K Patro as approved by GE.

Note :- The water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorised applicators. The contractor shall give 10 years guarantee for effectiveness of water proofing treatment, 2.5% of work done amount of this item shall be retained from contractors payment for a period of 10 years reckoned from date of physical completion of this work, or in lieu contractor may deposit bank FDR for the said amount for 10 years which shall be released by GE on expiry of satisfactory completion of 10 years period.

M&L for preparation of new surface of APP memebrane sheet and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed

Cutting grooves in brick wall, 75mm wide and 65 mm deep and shaping horizontal face of groove with cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in benching, roof kerbs and similar work rounded or chamfered complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling Plain or corrugated steel/ Fibre translucent sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Framed work such as grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; frame work of water tanks and similar work con- forming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I. S.1161-1979 grade St.-240 complete all as specified and as directed

S&F 2mm thick fibre glass reinforced translucent corrugated/plain sheeting with two corrugations side lap fixed with coach screw and washer in roof, wall etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F pre-painted galvalume aluminium zink coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of colour having tensile strength of 550Mpa as in roof covering fixed with self tapping screw complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L PCC type B0 (1:2:4) (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) thickness 40 mm thickness for concrete as on roof slop, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work using old size bricks of class designation 10, built in cement mortar (1:4), straight or curved on plan, exc 6 metre mean radius complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil, not exc 1.5m wide & n exc 1.5m in depth as in foundation , mainholes etc.n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (salt glazed stoneware/ACC/RCC) of 150mm bore, set in cement mortar, including removal of waste material upto 500 metre distance at the place notified by the Engineer-in-Charge and complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for salt glazed stoneware drain pipes 150 mm bore, laid in trenches and jointed in cement mortar (1:4) and tested complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for SWG pipes plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes of 150mm bore including packing under and haunching against sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick, in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 metre where directed by Engineer-in-Charge at a level not exc 1.5m above or below the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs SFRC manhole cover size (1200 X 600 x 70mm thick) with frame set in cement mortar 1:4 including demolition of existing RCC cover and segregating reinforced bars depositing for measurement for credit and removing dabries out of MoD land complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (1) Make of SFRC Manhole/drain cover and frame:- (a) M/s P S Concrete. (b) M/s K K Manhole or equivalent as approved by GE”.

M&L in repair, salt glazed stone ware gully trap, square or round mouthed, 150mm x 150 mm size, shape as required,including dismantling and taking out of old GT and jointing with old connection and pipes complete all as specified and as directed.

Extra for forming fair furnished drain or channels 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete using cement including forming moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping, benching rounded or chamferred on edges includind use and waste of form work complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 3 mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in square not exceeding 0.50 Sqm in each pane including taking down old broken glass complete all as specified and as directed.

Note :- The contract sum shall be after deducting the amount of Credit shown in Credit Schedule of this Tender.
