Cutting open B.T. Road or macadam road for laying water main / sewer lines and stacking the usable materials on road side for reuse in road works.

Earth work excavation above water level and depositing on bank in sandy silt or other soil, wet sand or silt, light black cotton soil or clay, sandy loam and ordinary soil for I.C’s manhole, well, infiltration, suction well including driving shoring materials etc., for excavation purpose and removing the shoring materials and refilling the trenches with excavated earth complying with standard specifications etc., complete.For first depth of 2 metres (using open timbering)

Earth work excavation above water level and depositing on bank in sandy, silt or other soil, wet sand or silt, light black cotton soil or clay, sandy loam and ordinary soil for infiltration, gallery siphon or connecting pipe line including driving shoring materials as mentioned below. Removing the shoring materials and refilling with excavated earth complying with standard specification etc., complete. - First depth of 2m (using open timbering)

Construction of circular manholes in brick masonry with country bricks of class designation 35 in circular manholes, providing and laying 200 mm thick of cement concrete 1:4:8 (one cement, four coarse sand and eight hard broken granite stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size), side walls with country bricks in cement mortar 1:4 (one cement and four sand) as shown in drawings. Cement plastering with inside and outside walls in CM 1:3 (one cement and three fine sand) with 20 mm thick using Sulphur Resistants Portland Cement (SRPC), providing, benching and channeling with CC 1:11/2:3 (one cement, one and half sand and three hard broken granite stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size), finishing bottom 20mm thick cement plaster in C.M 1:3 (one cement and three fine sand) with neat cement using SRPC cement, providing and fixing of 560 mm dia heavy duty SFRC covers with frame made as per IS 12592-2002 (I & ii) in accordance with "CPHEEO Manual on Sewerage & Sewage treatmet and relevant IS Codes". Fixing of C.I/PVC steps as shown in drawings, but excluding its cost which will be paid separately. The cost also includes the cost of curing and testing of the manholes for its water tightness. A drop in water more than 5 cm in 24 hours shall not be permitted. The rate including cost of circular SFRC cover and frame 560 mm dia, but excluding the cost of earth work excavation - 1200 mm dia and 1000 mm deep.

Extra/rebate for every additional/reduction in depth of 0.10 m in 23 cm thick wall or part thereof over the following manhole size for circular manhole - Country Bricks - 1200 mm dia and 1000 mm deep.

Providing, laying and jointing HDPE pipe PE 100 x PN 6 conforming to IS specification and ISI marked including transportation to the site, lowering to the trenches, laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment, including jointing and excluding specials such as bends, tees, threaded pieces, couplers, reducer, endcaps etc., complete as per IS and CPWD specifcation - 180 mm dia.

Providing, laying and jointing PVC-U pipes for use in under ground drainage and sewerage system conforming (SN8) to IS specification 15328-2003 and ISI marked including transportation to the site, lowering to the trenches, laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment, including cost of solvent cement, excluding UPVC specials such as bends, tees, threaded pieces, couplers, reducer, end caps etc, complete all as per IS and CPWD specification - 110 mm dia.

Providing and fixing in position PVC-U moulded plain coupler (Finolex/Jain) (SN8) conforming to IS 7834 part II and ISI marked including labour charges for jointing, jointin gmaterials etc. complete - 110 mm dia PVC coupler (mould).

Providing and fixing in position UPVC moulded endcap (Finolex/Jain)(0.6 Mpa) conforming to IS 7834 part II and ISI marked,including labour charges for jointing, jointing materials etc,complete - 110mm dia

Fixing of 150 mm wide PVC encapsulated steps in the manholes with 200 x 200 x 100 mm CC block in cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (one cement, one and half sand and three hard broken granite stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) all as shown in drawings.

Raising of intercepting chamber by dismantling the old R.C.C. slab, removing the I.C. cover and frame from the chamber and raising the chamber height with brick work in cement mortar 1:4 (one cement and four sand), refixing the frame in position by laying reinfoced cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (One cement one and half sand and three HBG metal) including curing but excluding the cost of reinforcement, finishing the top, inside and outside plastering with 20mm thick in cement mortar 1:3(one cement three sand), the rate includes all materials, providing barricading,caution board, watch and ward etc.,complete till the completion of work with minimum hindrance to the traffic.- 30cm height.

Raising of various types of manholes and flushing tank by cutting alround the manhole cover, removing the frame and cover from the manhole by cutting the B.T., W.B.M., surface, raising the manhole to the required height with brick work in cement motar 1:4 (One cement and four sand), refixing the frame in position by laying cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (One cement one and half sand and three 20mm HBG metal) including curing, but excluding the cost of reinforcement, finishing the top, inside and outside plastering with 20mm thick in cement mortar 1:3(one cement three sand), the rate includes all materials, providing barricading,caution board, watch and ward etc.,complete till the completion of work with minimum hindrance to the traffic.- 30cm height.

Brick work with FPS bricks of class designation 35 in foundation and plinth in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

20mm cement plaster of mix 1:4 (1cement : 4 fine sand)

Making connection of drain or sewer line with existing manhole including breaking into and making good the walls, floors with cement concrete 1:2:4 mix (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) cement plastered on both sides with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement and making necessary channels for the drain etc. complete. - for pipes 100 to 230 mm diameter.
