SUPPLY AND CONSTRUCTION OF HELIPAD CUM DISPERSAL AREA

Helipad cum Dispersal area The wk consists of design supply and construction of Helipad 2100 Sqm(Size 70m x 30m). Minimum specifications are as (a) 300mm thick Granular Sub Base (GSB) of grading-V (b) 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WMM in two layer with coarse aggregates . (c) 150mm thick Dry lean concrete with 7 days compressive strength as minimum 7 Mpa. (d) Cement concrete work in pavement/hard-standing of flexural strength 45 kg/per square centimetre in field using 420 kg of cement per cubic mere, thickness of concrete 225mm. (e) All as specified in tender documents

Area Drainage The drain shall be constructed 230 mtr long with clear width of 250 mm (wall thickness 200 mm) and depth of 600 mm. The sub base of drain will be provided in 100mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate and walls of the drain will be built in CM 1:4 with 200mm thk solid block masonery. Surface channel will be finished with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 as per drg att.

Retaining wall (i) Excavation in hard dense soil not exceeding 2.50m in depth and not exceeding 2.2m in width . Return filling and ramming of excavated soil and removal of surplus soil to a distance exceeding 500mtr and not exceeding 1000mtr. (ii) Retaining wall will be casted with RCC M-25 (Design mix) having footing size 2000mm wide and 400mm thick, over 100mm thick PCC sub-base 1:4:8 type D2 40mm graded stone aggregate as shown on drg. (iii) RCC retaining wall will be casted 5000mm high(incl footing). The wall thickness shall be minimum 200mm at top and 400mm at bottom of the wall as per shown on drg. (iv) The outer face of retaining wall will be provided 15mm thk(10+5) rendering in two layers. One coat of primer and 02 coats of cement base paint will be provided over rendering. (v) Min two Weep holes of 110mm dia HDPE PVC pipe to be provided per one sqm of surface area. (vi) 40mm thick crumple joint to be provided at every 20mtr to 25mtr of RCC Retaining wall. (vii) Retaining wall of RCC will be provided at appropriate loc. Approx length of retaining wall will be 170 meters however exact length of retaining wall to be constructed will be ascertained by the vendor after site visit and will form part of design to be submitted along with tech bid documents. Detailed site recce has to be done by the vendor and exact design to be submitted before construction. The exact design of retaining wall will be submitted as per ground survey duly vetted by IIT during Technical Bid. The foundation of the retaining wall should start from the lowest level of ground. Variations during constr (if any) will be done by the vendor only after taking approval and prior intimation to this organization.
