SPECIAL REPAIRS / REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING OLD VINTAGE ELECTRICAL LT /STREET LIGHT RCC POLES CONVERT TO STREET LIGHTS POLES AT KHADKI COMPLEX AREA BEG AND CENTRE UNDER GE (CENTRAL) KHADKI.

Excavation in trenches in soft & loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and getting out including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge including removing cable protection PCC covers/ bricks & stacking serviceable covers / bricks for reuse and disposal of unserviceable covers within 50 m complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenchs exc. 1.5 mtr in depth but not exceeding 3 mtr in depth and getting out in soft soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in (soils) including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers of 25 cm thick after the cables etc. are laid, jointed and tested complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of surplus excavated spoil (Soils) not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing on LT pole danger notice plate for LT of size 20 cm x 15 cm , 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enameled white with letters, figure and conventional skull & bones “DANGER” etc. in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps made out of 25mmx3mm MS flat iron, nut, bolts complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Supply, erecting and fixing in true vertical position, steel tubular swaged pole (410 SP – 31), 09 mtr long, complete with cast iron base plate, pole cap / finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and washers, welded reduced section and longitudinal weld throughout entire length of pole with and including 2 coats of black bituminous paint externally upto planting depth and remaining exterior portion of pole finished with one coat of red oxide primer and two coat of aluminium paint etc complete all as specified and as directed. incl taking down us pcc pole from position. NOTE :- Earthwork, PCC work in foundation& coping of pole, Cross arms, danger notice board and anti climbing device shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour PCC (1:4:8) type D-1 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) for foundation of the pole complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20 mm graded black trap/granite/basalt stone aggregate) for coping of the pole including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old unsv RCC Poles complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing PVC insulated copper wire FRLS of size 2.5 Sqmm (nominal area) 3 core for repair of street light wherever required at site complete all as specified and as directed.
