ADDITION/ ALTERATION TO P-6 BUILDING OF W5 MAIN WORKSHOP IN TIMBER POND INSIDE CHENNAI PORT- BMU UNDER GE (I) (CG) CHENNAI

Materials and labours for suspended false ceiling using E-grid 2430, 180 GSM (exposed ceiling suspension system) of grid size 600mmx600mm with main runner 38 mm x 24 mm and wall angle 24mm x 24mm using 8mm thick high Pressure Non Asbestos Fiber Cement decorative Board 12 mm thick (E-Board Classic) in a grid of aluminium duly suspended with 4 mm dia GI bar hanger fixed with steel dash fasteners or iron purline from the roof eith adjustment clip providing positions for light fixtures, air conditioning diffuser and ducts, sprinkler, smoke detectors etc., The main runners to be secured to structural soffits by hanger @ 1220 mm maximum c/c. The last hanger at the end of each main runner should not be interlocked between main runners @ 610mm c/c, as to form 600 mm x 600 mm grid complete all as specified and directed. Make : Gytech (Saint Gobin - Design No 154 Industries Ltd or equivalent as per IS 14862.

Supply and fix Solid PVC door frame of size 50 mm x 47 mm made of 5 mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with mild steel square tube in clause 8B.3.1 and shown on page 150 of MES Schedule Part-II (2010) complete all as specified and as direceted.

Supply and fix Factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30 mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top & bottom rails, MS frame covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC ‘C’ channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20 mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail; paneling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the MS frame welded/sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading and jointed together with solvent cement, supply and fixing in the frame at site as per clause 8 B.2.1 of MES schedule Part-II (2004) complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Rajshri or equivalent as approved.

Supply and fix aluminium powder coated any colour as approved for ventilator shutter , half fixed and half louvered type without sash bar , with 0.55 kg/RM , necessary joining cleats , glazing clips , rubber packing, aluminium snap beading ,screws , akuminium fittings such as leg stags 150 mm long(1 Nos) hinges 100 mm long (2 nos), suitable handle etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix of powder coated aluminium window and ventilator shutters, fixed type without sash bar, for powder coating of any colour (Thickness or powder coating not less than 50 micron)aluminium section weighing 0.55 kg/m including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber packing, aluminium snap beading, screws etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for aluminium grill (powder coat transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868 with minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) of approved design/pattern, with approved standard section and fixed to the existing window frame with C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws @ 200 mm centre to centre, including cutting the grill to proper opening size for fixing and operation of handles and fixing approved aluminium standard section around the opening, all complete as per requirement complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron.

Supply and fix 4.8 mm thick sheet glass selected quality approved fixed in position in aluminium/iron/wooden frame work including rubber beading and pointing cleats/glazing with oil putty complete all as specified.

Supply and fix of door closer hydraulically regulated aluminium die cast body universal type, suitable for door designation no 1 shutters up to 700 mm in width and of weight not more than 35 kg and fixed complete specified and as directed.

Demolition of floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removing rubbish off the premises to out side MD land etc., complete all as specified and as directed.
