Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary. a) Depth up to 150 mm.

Water Bound Macadam Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal / Laterite chelly or stone metal / shingles of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness (measured after compaction) in layers including screening of metals etc. as necessary, hand packing, sweeping, watering and rolling in stages with power roller to proper line, grade and camber, lighting, guarding & barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side where necessary to protect edges and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling and rolling all complete including the cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machineries and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). i) For Construction of Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal (63 mm to 45 mm) with moorum screening :

Supplying, spreading and consolidating Moorum to a depth of 75 mm at desired density and C.B.R. as per specification with power roller to proper gradient and camber including watering as necessary, and lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary to protect the edges and curing with water for 2 to 3 days, mending cracks by rolling where necessary including all incidental charges of roller, cost of fuel & lubricants etc. complete as per specification.

Cutting uprooting and clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds,bushes, trees, plants, upto 30 cm. girth including removing as directed byEngineer-in-charge.

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments,repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile includingsupply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any othermechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloadingand stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions inrequisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge withina lead of the NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepostwork section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking. A) Beyond 500 metre and upto 1.00 km

Supplying, dressing and stacking at site bamboo pins above 5 cm.diameter and upto 7.5 cm. diameter. (Dia. to be measured at midlength).

Driving bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scaffolding and driving appliances. (a) Where boats are not necessary.consolidated rate.

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bamboo wailing pieces (av. dia. of bamboo not less than 5.0 cm.)

Supplying to site empty cement polythene bags (capacity 50kg) in goodcondition including stacking, incedental charges etc. all complete(capacity 50 kg).

Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag(capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand oragreegates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,(tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within alead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials). NB:- Volume of earth/ sand filled bags should not be less than 0.028 cum/ bag.

Dumping in position earth / sand filled gunny / poly bags (capacity 50kg) within a lead of 30 metre inclusive of all lifts.
