SPECIAL REPAIRS OF ROAD FROM PERIPHERY ROAD TO HRDF SITE, PASSAGE OF AGE E/M OFFICE, SECURITY FENCE AROUND BAAZ HOUSE AT INS BAAZ, CAMPBELL BAY UNDER GE(I) CAMPBELL BAY

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces by power or hand picking to a depth exc 50mm and not exc 100mm and area not exc 400 Sqm in one stretch including racking over and grading the broken up surfaces to proper camber etc as required all as specified and as directed.

M & L for pemix bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber, consolidated thickness n.exc 75mm, using paving bitumen VG-30 with binder content @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc all as specified and as directed.

Apply evenly priming /tack coat on black top surfaces with paving bitumen @ 5.00Kg / 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 Cum of sand mixed with 6.8 Kg of paving bitumen, applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface over and including 30mm average consolidated thickness bituminous premix carpet, with 0.27 Cum of granite stone chippings, mixed with 14.6 Kg of paving bitumen binder of VG 30 spread, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient etc all as specified and as directed.

M & L for two coats of water based painting as in lines, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements and the like not exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling fencing post/struts (steel/ RCC/wooden) of any section including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground, post embedded in cement concrete/natural ground complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description as in fillets, fencing post , gate, hinges etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling fencing wire mesh, any type complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in post holes or similar holes, each n.exc 0.5 Cum, getting out in soft/ loose soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers n.exc 25 cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m & making good surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for mild steel round bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips confirming to Fe-410-W (Gde.E-250) quality-A or Fe290(Gde-E-165) complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F of flat iron fillets for securing wire mesh etc. including all necessary drilling holes for bolting or riveting, etc. and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of PVC coated chain link fencing of mesh size 50 x 50 mm , 3 mm overall dia wire with 1.0 mm PVC coating fixed to any type of standards, rails, posts, straining bolts etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for MS screw bolts (machine made) 10mm to 12 mm dia with hexangonal or squre head at one end screwd other or screwd end fitted with wishers and one hexogonal or square not exc 125mm long with 3 mm thick one washer complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of precast concrete articles and precast concrete block walling built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete block masonary with solid blocks, type C-1 (1:3:6) (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) exc 10cm in width and set in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick/ block masonry or concrete surfaces in CM (1:6) finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F rolled mild steel in angle iron posts, framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section confirming to Fe 410 -W, with gusset plates, rails braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering and hanging and fixing complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of new or previously treated surfaces of steel and iron surfaces not exc 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling, granite stone etc including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for vitrified tiles 10mm thick (square / rectangular) polished, area of each tiles n. exc 0.36 Sqm , in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:6) for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per Item No 24.00 above but in vertical wall surfaces laid over and including rendering/ backing coat of 10mm thick in CM (1:4) for wall finishes complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for solid PVC wall lining consisting of 5mm thick plain colour PVC sheet inclusive of solvent cement and fixing at site on PVC frame including beading on top exposive portion wherever required and dismantling old wall panelling any type and size all as per specifications and drawing complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 5mm thick PVC sheet fillet of width 35mm for wall paneling inclusive of fixing on to wall to make PVC frame as per specification and drawing complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing 25 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 ( using 20mm graded stone aggregate) , finished concrete surfaces even and rough to receive floor finishes complete all as specified and as directed.
