REPAIR REPLACEMENT TO VARIOUS BR NATURE WORKS IN ZONE A AT AGE BR I UNDER GE MIS MHOW

M&L for roughening/taking down existing roof treatment surfaces including plaster over old concrete roof by picking, hacking, scraping, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove all dust, loose particles and other deleterious matter, preparing the surface for receiving new treatment complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) All demolished materials/debris arising out of the above work shall be collected, loaded, transported and removed outside Defence land and disposed of as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to include scaffolding, staging, ladders, safety arrangements, protective measures and all other incidental charges necessary for safe and satisfactory execution of the work. No extra claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this account.

M&L for brushing neat cement slurry with 3 Kg of cement per Sqm for bonding of old concrete surface to new concrete/plaster surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Rate quoted shall be deemed to include scaffolding, staging, ladders, safety arrangements, protective measures and all other incidental charges necessary for safe and satisfactory execution of the work. No extra claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this account.

M&L for cutting out cracks to 6 mm wide 'V' section in existing roofs or terrace (if cracks > 2.5 mm wide), cleaning out, wetting, grouting with and including chemical compound, water and cement Sand slurry in the proportion of (1:3) by weight mix or as per manufacturers instructions all as specified and directed complete. Note: (i) All demolished materials/debris arising out of the above work shall be collected, loaded, transported and removed outside Defence land and disposed of as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to include scaffolding, staging, ladders, safety arrangements, protective measures and all other incidental charges necessary for safe and satisfactory execution of the work. M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) mixed with integral waterproofing chemical @ 200 millilitre per 50 Kg per cement, as in padding on roof surface for correcting / making proper slope on roof, and finishing the surfaces fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified. Note:- (i) Liquid WPC shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to include scaffolding, staging, ladders, safety arrangements, protective measures and all other incidental charges necessary for safe and satisfactory execution of the work. No extra claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this account.

M&L for 10 mm thick rendering in CM (1:3) mixed with integral water proofing chemical compound @ 200 mililitre per 50 Kg cement as per manufacturers instructions over concrete surface and finishing the surface fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Liquid WPC shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to include scaffolding, staging, ladders, safety arrangements, protective measures and all other incidental charges necessary for safe and satisfactory execution of the work. No extra claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this account.

M&L for providing complete waterproofing treatment to non-approachable/non-accessible roof surfaces, including horizontal and vertical surfaces, in the following sequence through the manufacturer or its authorized applicator, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge:- (i) Cleaning of newly rendered/prepared surfaces thoroughly and allowing the surfaces to dry completely. (ii) Applying one coat of oxidized bitumen-based solvent primer @ 0.30 kg/sqm uniformly over the prepared surface. (iii) Laying 3 mm thick APP modified waterproofing membrane, reinforced and approved for waterproofing applications, with side and end overlaps of not less than 100 mm, properly sealed and bonded to the surface by torch-on method, including treatment to junctions, fillets, parapets and vertical surfaces as required. (iv) Applying two coats of bituminous aluminium paint over the APP membrane @ 200 grams/sqm (minimum) per coat, complete. Note:- Waterproofing treatment shall be executed either by the manufacturer or by an authorized applicator approved by the manufacturer.
